Season 14 might just be one of the absolute worst seasons when it comes to mistreating queens. Alyssa Hunter, Deja, Maddy, Daya, Jasmine all got the short end of the stick and it showed all season for most of them.

She is my absolute favorite of the season she’s such a sweetheart online and on her channel and I fully thought her fun energy would have gotten her the Ms. Congeniality title with how much she hypes everyone up, plus I would have loved to see her do a makeover challenge cause she has such a terrific mug. You’re totally right in saying she should have one the DragCon panel it was terrific! She’s just an underrated queen and I’d love to see her on an All Stars
I do think she should've won the panels challenge. It's weird cause if production wanted to give Bosco (and Willow) a boost, they could've just had a group win for the girl groups challenge.

Deja was definitely rodded during the Panel challenge. Her and the entire team did great and she did a fantastic job as moderator. Plus she had the strongest runway of the night. Whereas Bosco was the only member of her team that did well and her runway was a bra and panties (for the first time).
I'm in the minority that doesn't think Deja was ever mistreated in the S14...if anything Jasmine should have been safe in the design challenge over Deja. I do agree she could have won the hosting challenge and maybe could have been safe for the rusical but ultimately her runways were consistently below average and I think she took too long to peak in the competition and as such she wasn't a good bet to make it to the finale over Bosco/Angeria and I don't think either of those choices were too crazy. If anything Orion was done more dirty than her because low in the ball? I don't think
It wouldve been such an amazing and unexpected moment to have Deja win two challenges in a row in the middle of the season and get a "possible winner late bloomer" edit, so sad they decided to still give her a filler edit when she was very good overall, they didnt give her all her flowers, i dont think she wouldve won but her track record and edit couldve been way better
There’s something about Deja’s fashions that was a little underwhelming for me… I think she’s funny and talented but her runways lacked a sense of silhouette for me.. would’ve liked to have seen more proportionizing or garments that were less drapey more form fitting
We have had many bomb queens who fashion we didn’t agree with as a plus size girl who likes pastel kawaii I love her looks sometimes the pastel wig can throw it off but the facts she makes all her looks ain’t no joke
100% agree on everything except Deja absolutely deserved bttm-2 for roast, out of them three Daya was low, but was thrown in the bttm to be sure a punk-rock queen justifyingly sends 2 lipsync assassins home to a rock song
Besides the drag con and talent show, I think she was very fairly placed. I disagree with her being high for girl groups tho bc Daya-Bosco-Willow devoured
I love love Deja with my heart and soul, thank you for making this. Side note, and I hate to be that guy, but I think you should take a bit more time to proofview videos before they go up, since you had "Glamazon Prime" on the screen when discussing the Rusical runways. Great vid though!

Season 14 was just weird and rigged altogether. Clearly pushing some queens and ignoring others. Sometimes not even trying to edit it to justify their decisions. The 6 way lip sync that honey was sent home for was so stupid and IMHO just terrible for Honey since no one could stand out good or bad since there were too many queens.
I dont understand why they changed the theme to Mirror Mirror. I could understand doing that in the Snatch Game bcs they wanted to have an all flops, so make all the girls "miss the theme" would make sense, but in the Rusical makes no sense.

Second of all, I just wanted to say as an artist I really connected with your taste for colors and shapes, I love the gown you created for the ball and what you were for the Fallin lip sync is one of my favorite drag race looks ever. Third of all, how did it feel to have your beautiful outfit that had so much subtle detail to get ripped apart? Fourth of all, how does it feel to create UA-cam content and have a voice as someone who went through the show? Do you ever feel like too connected to the internet? If that makes sense. I LOVE YOU DEJA!!!
I agree with most EXCEPT Daya had a overall ok Roast and amazing runway Both of Jorgeous' roast anf runway was bad Dejas roast was bad and had 1 good joke and a meh runway Imo Jorg vs Deja with deja sending Jorgeous home
The one part I disagree with is the rumix. Based on what the other queens delivered, I think the fair judging originally would have been Bosco and Angeria as the bottom 2, with Daya winning. So with this being top 6 going down to final 5, I think Deja does better than both Bosco and Angie, and moves on to the finale, where she does not make it to top 2. She ends the season with 2 wins and 1 bottom 2 placement of fairly judged. Bosco would have had 1 less win and 1 more bottom 2 in this scenario, and all members of that top 6 would have ended with at least 2 challenge wins, except Willow. (Daya wins girl group and rumix, Bosco wins Advertising and roast, Angie wins Talent Show and Supertease, Camden wins Acting, Rusical an Glamazon Prime, Willow wins the Ball, Deja wins the Hosting and Snatch Game) Alternatively, there is no chocolate Bar, Bosco doesn’t get saved during the Rusical (she only has one win in this scenario). Only then do I potentially see Deja being bottom 2 for the Rumix, and even then, it’s a toss up against Willow.
She honestly deserved her elimination, Jorgeous was better than her and Daya in the roast and Daya runway was like 1st or 2nd best that week so she was like bttm1 for me lol

This season was extremely disappointing. The way the Queens were looked over was irritating and frustrating to watch.
Rewatching Deja on this season, I realized I had been wearing Jynx’s perfume the entirety of season 14.
