"Collateral damage they may be, but safe to say, they have it coming." Ooooh, the pure venom in her voice when she says that. Gotta love a target that can make Diana break her professionalism enough to state that they deserve whatever fate 47 inflicts on them.
Not even sure why it’s the Washington twins that make her say that. Yes they are the joint chairwomen for the Ark Society and do appear to kill any people that might get in their way, but so do most of the people they are contracted to kill. What have the Washingtons do to actually be that bit more evil that Diana personally hates them?
These briefings feel more like expensive power points rather then briefings like the first game, is some lonely ICA agent hard at work making all the assets for this? Still look cool tho.
I like the ones from 2016 a lot more tbh. The style of still images gave the feeling of a true mission briefings, as if intelligence branch of ICA took photos and Diana was presenting us the information with those photos. Not to mention main 2016 theme as background music made them whole another level.
Due to Square Ennix meddling with Hitman 2016, IO Interactive left them and are now working for Warner Bros.. Unfortunately the budget was cut severely and they had to use “freeze frame” cutscenes instead of normal ones. Golden Handshake’s briefing seems to be using the game engine for the cutscene as the characters are actually moving now, so I guess the normal cutscenes are back.
@@dusksunsetio6042 it was probably because they could now course correct since the dlc was created afterwards. I believe they had already begun crafting the cutscenes and then didn't have the money to complete them so opted instead for smaller freeze frames(selected frames from their animations, that they polish)that at least still look good instead of half assed cutscenes. Or they from the beginning thought that the cutscenes drew too much funding from other areas, which I appreciate as long as the story is somewhat represented.
The cutscenes are what made me love Hitman 2016, the intro, was *AMAZING*, briefings and cutscenes as well. But in Hitman 2, the cutscenes feel cheep and poorly made. Like clay-mation or something a starting animator would do. Picture-on-picture.
@@Mr64jaime but you cant say it makes the game bad, at least the briefing is animated and the gameplay is what matter the most, rather than gameplay and i bet IOI wanted to make this animate, but they had to cut corners, at least we should appreciate that the game even came out, and at a fair quality, but, i think in Hitman 3 we will have animated cutscenes just remember, dont let the cutscenes ruin the expirience, at least judge and play the game as a GAME with your controllers, and not solely by cutscenes
after watching all cutscenes: Miami: the Knox's committed war crimes in Tungun valley massacre Santa fortuna: Fuck up the Delgado cartel by killing the three to make it harder for the shadow client to move around the world undetected Mumbai: kill the shadow clients main operative (the maelstrom) and his pirate friends (dawood, and vanya) Whittleton Creek: find clues around the neighborhood about the ark society since janus is trained to not give out in interrogation and torture, frame janus for being the true shadow client and killing him to fuck up the militia, and for the plan to work, kill nolan (janus's security) isle of sgail: Kill the sisters so that when lucas kidnaps the constant the sisters wont trigger the kill switch they have on them, and remove the chip in the constants neck
I love the subversion of expectations when we reach Whittleton Creek, switching sides. I didn't see it coming. Even the back of the hitman 2 box the disc comes in says to fight against "the shadow client's militia." I loved the teaming up with Grey
@UrbanintrospectionYT I think maybe Maya was excusable too? She was just a drill sergeant for them essentially unless I’m forgetting something, Sean deserved it, he seemed cool but was also a terrorist, and Ezra was a pretty bad interrogator (as in bad character wise).

Watching hitman cutscenes makes me feel important
Janus mission briefing made me feel like unfinished work was getting done.

Yeah I get a swelling feeling but it’s exciting 😂😆
Yeah, it’s chilling but at the same time... I could close my eyes and be in that very room.
"I will leave you to prepare"
Me: Uhh, I'm just å guy 😅
Diana's voice actress is simply on another level. Amazing.
I love the style of these briefings so much.
Remind me of the old Modern Warfare games. It’s great.
i love diana's voice and narration, definitely one of the best parts of the game for me
This made it feel like more of a mission impossible game
I love it when she says "I shall leave you to prepare.".
I like how Diana talks louder and more friendly than in the first game as though she's less concerned about 47's ability after the first game.
I’ve never known why but for some reason I find Diana’s voice really good and relaxing 😌. Excellent voice acting by Jane Perry :)

Is that good or bad?
Its due to budget constraints. Last time they had Square Enix money but now they don't.
You’re missing the point: he’s saying these look a lot more than just mission briefings, like an agent is working hours into making them.

Thank you for this. My Mumbai briefing bugged out and I was pleased to see the lead up to the mission.
I know the story isn't really why people play Hitman but these really make the whole premise feel way more important
The transitions are so smooth
The kronstadt robot in the beggining is a KAI model. Interesting
