I've watched all the episodes and Lady...! your beauty is in your eyes and your smile.... they just come from your soul...., from one woman to another, you are the personification of sunshine :))
to this day, i still don't understand the "meeting online" stigma. whether it's online or in person, there is a way to do things; a way to conduct yourself & to be safe. And there is Just As Much of a need TO be safe in person as there is online. Not to mention, thru online dating, i personally find that it is Easier to detect and weed out the "crazies" and the undesirables - long before you even meet in person! so i'm really perplexed by the (continued) stigma of online dating being a sign of desperation or lack of safety. ~ b.
I think the problem is with the words online dating. Because people who get taken advantage of is the one who aren't good with dealing with people face to face or want to live in fantasy world. If you meet someone on line and you can't at least do phone calls within weeks and video chat within two weeks and meetings in person within a month. Then you should run because that person is hiding something.
It made me laugh when he mentioned the "slickness". RIP comedian Patrice O'neal. On his radio show, "Black Philip", he said that women aren't honesty in their quesioning. In Patrice's example, his ex girlfriend asked, "Which side of the bed do you want to sleep on?" After picking a side, she replied, "But I won't be able to see the TV if you sleep on that side." And it was a thing about her question having pretense. She could've just picked a side but the question was more of a test to see if he would pick the right side based on if he was being considerate enough to determine he would obstruct her view. Without him totally explaining it, I knew exactly what he meant because we've all been there.
