That ported 582, wow! I bet it’s a handful! Looks like y’all had a good time. This vid ended in normal Genin and Aaron style. Gone no warning😂 Take care G👊🏻
Nice vid Genin! I'd like to stop by Chris' place and do some cutting with him too. I'm guessing you stopped in there either before or after going to the Wolfe Ridge show?
@@stiantnnessen2671 500i is faster than the 462 if your cutting big wood. If you’re cutting 8-16” stuff the 462 is right with the 500. If you’re cutting 20+ stuff and running longer bars the 500 is the way to go. If you look back through my videos I have several comparing the 462, 461, and 500i that may be helpful to you.
Hard to tell being the stock 592 is so great and his new ported 592 only has a few tanks thru it. Well do some videos this fall once it’s good and broken in.
@@InTheWoodyard The little that I do know seems to parallel your opinions so it does add value for myself, I am not anti porting with less refined saws seeing bigger gains.
IMHO at least with the mfg providing PHO weights there is some consistency in weighing, if one mfg provides weight with a 16" b&c fueled and the other lists their weight with a 28" and no fuel to me would be irrelevant info in my thinking if my choice in bars is 24"🤪
I meant it in the aspect as stihl claims the 462 is 1 pound lighter than a 572, ive weight them both, 25” light bars, gassed and oiled, both the same weight.
Big power, little power, all good power! Looks like a great time with the power saws!
It was a fun time, cool weather and chainsaws, can’t go wrong!
You boys can come and cut my firewood any time! Thanks for the play day!
Thanks for having us Chris!

Y’all really did run ALL the saws!! 😂
How y’all like that ported 592?? Wonder if it’s much more peppy?
Enjoyed it fellas!
Stock 592 is so good already it’s hard to tell, well do a test this fall when it’s good and broken in and see how great it is

What is your opinion of the 592 ported vs stock, most reports I have seen is only modest gains(10%) over stock.

In my opinion it is not much different.....but what do I know??
