Please come to Jacksonville,FL Gateway RC flying club in December for our toys for tots fly in. The Marines always send a hummer and 2 soldiers to collect the bicycle landing fee for this great day of flying. We would love to have you.
Yeah, really. As strange as it sounds, I feel like a great void in the world has been filled. Kind of like the bronze statue of Glen Frye standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona. The world just seems a better place knowing that it's there.

I remember seeing a flying Snoopy’s Dog house in an aeromodelling magazine over 40 years ago. Nowhere near as realistic or powerful as this one though!

It was for electric round the pole with one motor driving a prop hidden in the doghouse Snoopy wae a flat cutout sat on the roof to the rear. Control was throttle only and it would trundle round the circuit sedately. I flew it at the 1975 model engineering exhibition. Sorry no photos have survived

I'm 71 brother, and Snoopy's been my go to hero most of my life. He's kind, irreverent ,and sarcastic, just at the right times. The " I'm gonna do what I want, when I want " attitude is what makes him A Hero. When Charlie Brown needs him, he's there.

First time I saw one of those was at Stanton Hobby Shop in Chicago in the 1970's. Very impressive. It was not quad copter based, due to the year. It was gas engine power in a conventional tricycle landing gear. I heard it was a bear to fly due to the short top heavy design. Snoopy was flat, not 3d due to the wind resistance in a conventional airplane configuration. Sad to see a post on the closing of this hobby shop in Chicago 2 decades ago.

The head moving and the scarf are the little extra touches that make this great. Watch out Red Baron. You have to make a Flying Charlie Brown, the take off is him running at that ball Lucy is going to pull away.

Not only was the dog house flying, but the same guy flew an ironing board, a lawn mower, and a flying toilet did get quite a bit of laughter from the spectators. The builder was a professor of aerodynamics who claimed that you could make anything fly if you apply enough power. Indeed!
I live near there. I recognized the Tehachappi mountains in the background. If I had been driving by and saw this happening I would have lost my mind. lol
Oh this just made my day! Also reminded my of when I was a kid of maybe 11/12 painting on the kitchen walls of my parents house. They were going to gut the kitchen and remodel it so I got permission to paint my artwork on the walls. One piece was Snoopy sleeping on top of his doghouse with a dream bubble above of Snoopy chasing the Red Baron. Thanks for bringing back memories! Been 45+ years .

The transitions from hover to forward flight and back looked really smooth, better than those of other similar drones I've seen.
