I think you have that skirt rule backwards...flared dresses/skirts are more flattering if you're not curvy because they give you the illusion of curves and smaller waist. Bodycon dresses make it more obvious that you have a straight shape...I mean in a recent vlog you said the same thing, not long after talking about how flared jeans make your thighs looks slimmer....it's the same concept.
