Dude all I want to know is what is the size comparison of the international 12 to the speacial senator 113. I know it's a strange question but yeah. I have found NOTHING that has told me this not even close uuggh. One thing I want to know is is the reel in the middle a 12

I just read your comment i hope i can help...the penn vsx12 is the same size as a penn 300x torque size wise and in comparison to the 113 its a tiny bit smaller and weighs more. you can definitely cast with the vsx12 if you have good experience casting the weight is not too bad in my opinion...I actually cast with the 16vsx its 7oz heavier than the 12vsx. I can cast with the penn 113 as well open top tiburon frame difference is that the 12vsx is two speed and built a whole lot better than the 113 and is about 6oz heavier not to mention a way better drag.

can you cast with the vsx30? it has an open top...and if so would you have to cast something over 5oz?

this reel is for trolling, jigging or both ?
