So agree. I’ve never had the patience to sit and meditate but have realised that doing 20 mins yoga each morning and just focussing on the teachers voice, trying to blank my mind and feel the strength in the stretches acts as meditation for me - while also getting my yoga session done! Win win!
I am such a fan of doing the hard thing first. I try to start working on the longest, hardest, or even most boring task first thing. Then I can get to the easy quick tasks in the afternoon or evening. It's a win-win for me!
LOVE this topic!!! Thank you!! I've been setting 3 daily habits to do first thing in the morning and already I feel a shift. You gave me some more ideas!!!
Daily habits can be changed by simply doing a 1% change every day. Thank you for sharing your habits. Best book I've read is Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg.
This were great tips. The digital disconnect point is really powerful. It is so easy to get in a loop of getting things done but without the balance the stress increases and productivity falls
Thanks for this video with useful tips for great daily habits. I started about a month ago to digitally disconnect at least an hour before it was time to go to bed and it has really helped with better sleep.
Hi can you help me with what is the most important skill and knowledge required in Project Manager role? And if I'm managing project in tech industry let say fintech or insurtech then do we require deep technical knowledge and certifications? What certification would you tell me to get done which can help boost my position and showcase knowledge?
Hi Swapnil....that is a very difficult question to answer as it depends on your experience. If you are new to PM, then having knowledge on PM principles, tools and techniques is priority #1. If you are an experienced PM then the most important skill is the one that will solve the issue/roadblock that you keep on experience and you need to fix. I find that good communication always is a great skill to have. If you are looking to get into the tech industry then you need to understand Agile Project Management. It is a specific methodology of running software projects. But you also need to understand the framework of PM....something that a lot (not all) of agile practitioners (I say this only from experience) don't fully understand and it creates project issues. Check out my free webinar on the 5 Fundamentals of PM. This will give you some guidance on what you need to be a successful project manager. Cheers! www.slayprojectmanagement.com/webinar
@@AdrianaGirdler thanks for info. In my one year of experience into insurtech start-up managing Project I have learned and understood alot with experience. But yes I do agree Agile approach is important in tech industry and effective communication. Can you make one video based on your experience how a project manager should create a resume to standout and what/how things should be included from our previous experience. Would you prefer to make resume from nova resumé site?
