- Do you have more envelopes than you need? Here is a creative way to use the envelopes to create and fun, new tuck spot for your junk journal. I am sharing an easy demonstration on how to create pretty ephemera for your next journal project from leftover envelopes.

Hi, Kathleen. Our autumn is underway. Day temps have started to be cooler, yet no where near cold, yet, where I live. The nights temps have dropped, too, meaning a bit heavier blanket/s are needed and a long sleeve, especially in the morning. It is a lovely time of year and usually extends for a few months. Of course, sometimes, we’ll get a really cold chilly wind from the south that decides it should hit us earlier in the year than usual. However, so far, the weather is “just right” in my opinion. 😀💞
What a clever and versatile way to recycle a good part of those saved new envelopes from writing papwr kits, etc. My stash rivals your's for sure😉. Thanks for sharing, Kathleen, I will dip now into those envelopes😊!!

This has the same kind of visual effect and usefulness as the index card/scrapbook paper flips you mad recently but it's a little fancier and uses different materials. Now that I think about it, you've shown several other ways to make journaling spots and tucks that hang over the top of the page. I'll have to start an "over the page" idea folder simliar to your pocket pouch. Also, you're very good at making clusters. I need more practice, lol.

Good morning my dear. This was a very good video. I have not seen this idea before and I always like things that use up envelopes. However I will not be using Tim Holtz ephemera as it is way too expensive for my budget. But I have lots of options to be able to do this. Thank you so much for your video. Thank you Nana! Of course you may. Kate is doing well. She is just in that stage where raising a young family, and getting along in this complicated world, make her really busy. I’m sure she would love to be making UA-cam videos, because I know she enjoyed doing that. But, she is just a busy mom of three growing children and a professional portrait photographer. UA-cam can be pretty demanding when you do it all yourself and I think she just doesn’t have time to keep up. Next time she is visiting, I’ll try to wrangle her into one of my videos and we can do something together.
