- In today’s episode, we were able to get the walls framed and the usb sheathing completed. Getting these walls framed really brought this duplex to life!! Next it's time to get the ceiling and roof framed up!! This duplex is going to turn out great!! Enjoy the video y'all!

You going to put wool insulation between units so you dont hear bumping ugly's in the next unit?
I agree Rockwool and 5'8' drywall
I was planning on doing regular insulation since there's also an inch air gap and then 5/8s drywall on each side. I'm gonna do a sound test this week to check it out!!
@@NikosPropertyShow it's completely up to you brother. Rockwool safe & sound is a great product at insulating and reducing transmission. I think a great video to do is to show all your viewers how you intend to "soundproof the walls" and show us the testing results as well. Great progress coming along as usual !
Does the DensGlass also work as soundproofing?
Somewhat, but if your neighbors are making a racket, you can tell. I have it between my townhouse and neighbors.

It helps a little bit. There's also that one inch air gap and then insulation on both sides and then 5/8's drywall on both interior walls.

I would never buy one of these new duplex or townhouse..... at least townhouses in the 80s had a block wall between you and your neighbor.
They’re definitely not for everybody!!
