- It’s those few weeks before the holiday break, and almost everyone is in the festive spirit. But when office party season rolls around, you’re not quite sure what to expect.

I'm a firm believer in bringing potluck dishes in disposable bowls. When things go left, the freedom to be able to dip at a moment's notice can literally save your life.
Bowls aren't that expensive, unless it's your grandma's dish like c'mon, nobody needs to go back for a bowl.
or just take the whole dish with you, odds are no one will notice or care.
Tupperware and Pyrex is expensive
And transportation, I'm not going anywhere without my vehicle and I don't drink. Anybody eles with some sense is free to carpool with me

I'd rather party as a grown woman responsibily with my family at home than the place I work. This should be common sense for most grown adults at work parties or events, but they act like a bunch of teenagers at a nightclub. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
I do agree with that
i dont understand how ADULTS can't use their brain and think "maybe i should not drink in front of my co-workers and boss, because its unprofessional" it doesnt matter where u work, it will never be okay to get that intoxicated at a work event.
aaaah so countries where it is well seen or culturally ok to do so are just a bunch of teenagers at a nightclub. Good to know.

The rampant alcoholism in our society that is just laughed off as “having a good time” is so sad
It’s not just US
It’s not alcoholism, it’s stupidity induced by stress. Out here the majority of people that work have no time to have a good time that they’ll take any chance they get even when it’s a bad time to do it.
@@paigerowe1090 obviously. we are talking about the united states right now, though….stay on topic.
You should have a drink and think about it.
@@pabloescobarschanclas Look at you lol.
My husband's work parties avoid this by giving everyone only 2 tickets for 2 drinks, then you're done!
But grown people should know to act right at a work party.
i would just ask for triples 😂
grown or mature?
there's a big difference! 😋
That’s what we do to and it works pretty good

The fact that not getting completely hammered in front of your employer is something that needs to be said at all, is ridiculous. It’s common sense, FFS.
Unfortunately, common sense and maturity have nothing to do with age
Don’t even trust HR, they are not there to help employees, but rather isolate and then fire or forced to quit, which voids any benefits.
Why do companies insist on these parties!?Just save everyone the hassle and give them bonuses instead plus a early finish for Xmas.
I agree. It usually gets chaotic way too fast and I feel bad if it's hosted at the workplace since they usually leave the cleaning for the next day from what I've witnessed. The smell wasn't pleasant at all
I work at a grocery store and we just do a holiday luncheon during work hours. We also usually get a $30 reward through our store’s reward app that we can use toward groceries.
I'd definitely rather have a bonus! XD
I did not know that people are obligated to go to these things.
Amen! I'd rather have a gift card instead of a party.
I work at a nightclub and whenever my coworkers and I go out/have parties we do not act like this at all, yet we drink a lot. These people just don't know how to control themselves.
Nahh, Alana just didn’t get the inside memo 😉
@@MissEddieBlueKawaiiKraftsand she didn’t care too to know the memo whatsoever that it was
People seem to forget, they held this party AT the restaurant. So those 3 people were getting "physical" together in a family restaurant, that's nasty.
Not to mention they threw up in the restaurant , and its unknown if there were coworkers not legally allowed to drink.. just so much at a taco bell is insane
@Ferrinexus THIS its a entry level job. Sad to imagine if TEENAGERS where there
@@SpicyPlur you're right! I'd put money on there being teenagers at it. I've never been in a Taco Bell and not see several kids working there. 😔

was that not an obvious thing to not go crazy in a WORK party i don’t even work yet and ik that’s just embarrassing
This!!! My job just had like a small BBQ party, and it was nice. We didn't bring Alcohol but that's seems to be the problem and no boundaries at all
There are some office parties where certain drinking culture is loosely enforced from what I've heard but it's not super common here in the US. But I've definitely heard about pressure to "let loose" at a corporate party with alcohol. I've never personally experienced it either but I do think there's an undercurrent of stress at these events that may make someone who doesn't indulge responsibly to drink more than is professional. I personally don't think alcohol should ever be involved in work functions for a lot of reasons and a huge amount of it has to do with control. A workplace event just isn't the sort of thing I think that needs the inclusion of an intoxicating substance. It's just not a very good environment for morale or being productive.
Exactly... Omg it's totally not MY fault for not drinking too much at a corporate event 🙄 point. I was forced to drink 11 glasses of wine 🙄🙄 crapped myself in front of the regional manager but it's not MY fault 🙄🙄
Drinking at a job can be really bad to the point where it gets completely out of hand
@@derrickjuinor and sometimes upper management encourages it! Otherwise you aren't a team player. Like if I know I can take one shot and still be professional don't pressure me to take more!
Been going to work parties for over 10 years. Family included with us. No alcohol is served. Instead we have a Santa set up for kids and a catered meal. And a drawing for extra gifts. Never a problem so far. And it's still fun.
If people *need* alcohol to have fun, that’s a problem right there. Sure I like drinking, but never do I need it to enjoy time with others.
This is what my work did this year. It was a cute holiday party for the kids and then we had a cookie carry-in the next week. I heard that they used to do Christmas parties and they got pretty hard
Spill reuploads my vids and has never given me credit 😢
Doesn't sound like a party 😂 seems like torture for you
Yeah why are employers serving alcohol at work partied in the first place? It's asking for trouble
I, under no circumstance, would ever be caught dead at a work event, party, or anything that is not the work I'm hired for. I can drink and play videogames in the comfort of my own home.
Unfortunately, it's important if you want climb the corporate ladder. People promote and hire those they like. If you don't care, then it really doesn't matter.
Yep that's right 😅
They're fun sometimes. Plus, free food is always good. The key thing is to go, chat, eat, and then leave in a reasonable amount of time
@@carlycrays2831 I don't drive. I ride a bicycle. It's already 35 mins of pedaling each way when i'm on the clock. Going off the clock is just a huge nope for me.
No food they serve is worth 70 mins of my time just in pedaling, yet alone any time i spend there
@@LilT2o00 Fair enough.
Co workers are not your friends. I stay away from mine outside of actual work.
I didn't go to work parties at My Previous Job, there were lots Halloween, Christmas, Canada Day, even Aboriginal Day... Afterwards I noticed my co-workers forming "groups", or "cliques"... It was Highschool all over again...
The way the coworkers reacted towards Alana is so childish. How are you gonna be mad at her because you're a disgusting person with no morals..
They didn’t deserve to be fired because she was offended. If she didn’t like what was going on at the party; she could have left. She was really just mad because they threw up in her guacamole bowl.
It’s the toxic restaurant work life and the toxic people who work it. I have met some of the nicest and some of the most toxic people working in restaurants. Plus with low standards most restaurants have in their requirements also contributes to it. You don’t even need a high school diploma to get a restaurant job, plus the wide of ages in restaurants, it’s just pressure cooker waiting to explode.
@@FaithFallRepentGraceRepeatYou make it sound like it's ok, when is not.
Pretty cringe to do at the workplace and the texts afterwards are just childish bro. @@FaithFallRepentGraceRepeat
Im torn. I know how these get and usually those who would be uncomfortable steer clear but maybe it was her first fast food job.
I was always forced to attend my office parties. It was part of my contract and attendance was mandatory. I however, refused to consume any alcohol at them, and would leave once the vibe changed from a majority of my co-workers getting sloshed. I might have been forced to attend, but nowhere in my contract did it say I had to participate.
My advice to anyone who is afraid they might be prone to over-indulgence at an office party: go for a short time, and limit yourself to one drink that you sip on, just to be social. Go early, leave early...then go home to the waiting keg and have an after-party with your close mates. Best of both worlds. :)
Just don't go if you don't have self control
I'm only 3 mins in, and if you act like a fool at the office xmas party, then you deserve to be fired the next day. No ifs, ands, or buts. It's still **WORK.**

I'm surprised Alana didn't check the bathroom,
I don't even want to know what happened in there😳
Don't minors typically work at Taco Bell too? I hope they weren't in attendance.
They do. My husband worked at a Taco Bell while we were in high school.
Tbh they probably were because some of the people that work at these restaurants are pedophiles and like to bring little girls home.
Yes, and that's what makes things like this even more scarey!

@@ville__idk if you’re trolling or what your motivation of this is, but this is weird
ALSO as a guest at a party, think of your partner's rep while there. Your actions reflect on them as well. Be an adult or at least keep your senses
Whoever wants to hurt Alana and harassing her for ratting out her problematic coworkers really should not ever come to any kinds of social gathering because what she done is just like what any other people with common sense would do
You unironically use the term "problematic." You're walking, talking cringe.
Quick question what is the mistletoe for at a party? Even if it’s a work party. If there’s no kissing of coworkers, then there should be no mistletoe. That’s my simple solution.
Me I would never kiss a coworker. That’s just me though.
It’s business, not personal.
You’d expect adults to act like adults
why anyone would give coworkers your phone number is beyond me. your boss and HR should be the only ones to have it. if they disclose your private info, that in itself is a violating your privacy and could be charged with endangering and aiding harassment.
I work at a small business. Our "parties" involve going out to dinner or lunch somewhere nice. We have alcohol, but only a couple glasses each. It is crazy that some companies do this
This is why I'm not a party person
This is why I don't go to work parties. Alcohol should NOT be allowed.
I don't understand why these coworkers weren't fired for their behavior. But they transfer her to another location?
I thought they had been - maybe i need to listen to the vid again.
My Taco Bell had a Christmas party, the store was still open, customers were walking around, I brought a giant pasta bake and a jug of hot chocolate 😂 I ate a chocolate strawberry and ate rice pudding, gave my secret santa a pair of gloves.
I worked for a high-end corporate law firm and only stayed the one hour and did not drink alcohol at all while attending, just a soda pop even though I like to have a cocktail once in a while, just not at office Christmas parties.
To the advice ''drink the first, sip the second, and skip the third'', I would say this : The first one will already be too much. But the second one won't be enough. And the third... you mean the ninth?? SoOooOrRrryyY, I loOooOSsSstT coOOouUNnt..
If you can SUE a Bartender for 'OVER" serving you then you can sue your Boss for the same thing
If you know you get messy when you drink, don’t drink at work parties lol
I think I would have left the guacamole bowl and gone home. It wasn't worth it.
Same
People should be held accountable for everything everywhere
Work parties at my husband's work are if you are caught drinking you are subjected to being fired. It depends on how you acted and if it was dangerous. There have been too many issues at functions that were involved with alcohol. If you are caught bringing alcohol you are immediately fired
I used to work in a Freemasons hall and every Xmas we had this and we saw some ridiculous things from adult human beings and I've had to deal with the aftermath. I gave up drinking because of this behaviour lol
Imagine just working at taco bell 🔔 and you end up viral on the internet because you made a HUGE mistake of drinking too much leading to doing CRAZY THINGS
Imagine being an adult and not being able to control yourself and how much you drink.
I literally just came home early from a party, and I was a bit bummed about it cause I had the option to stay and drink more, but I chose to catch a ride home with some friends instead. And that's the first video that popped up on my feed when I came home! I feel it's a sign from above that I made the right choice this time lol 🤣
some people try to sue for whatever they can to try and get a bag.. smh
My male coworker told me I should pole dance, twice during our shop owner's birthday party at the shop. He makes everyone at work uncomfortable & bullies you if you dont go along with him. Ill never go to another work function again.
If you had any self respect you'd stop working there. I have no sympathy for you, none. Nor should anyone else. Catch him doing it and sue him into oblivion or just become a grown with dignity and leave.
Theytranferred her which was the right choice. What else were they supposed to do? Leave her there and risk her getting hurt? BFFR
they need to maintain safety in their parties, i guess make changes so staff aren't at risk. Maybe not cover up cameras/windows and supply as much alcohol? the taco bell parties need to be more regulated.
Uh, gee, I dunno, FIRE THE PROBLEMATIC COWORKERS?
The right would be to fire problematic co-workers and take strict measures about work parties at Taco Bell... They acted like a bunch of teens having a prom party if it not worse 🤦🏻♀️
Office parties are like any other party. It’s how the individual behaves and sometimes it just not it
Sorry to dbl dip
WHENEVER alcohol is involved, things are gonna get crazy and embarrassing.
But it serves those workers and the workers who have threaten Alana including that male one yeah karma will get back at you guys because, what you guys say and did to her karma is coming back just you wait and Taco Bell need to take it seriously of this behavioral.

There are also Christmas work parties in Germany. But everyone knows that only small amounts of alcohol are given out so that people don't overdo it.
Everyone also knows, partly because of the somewhat stiff culture and common sense, that you see each other again at work the next day and want to preserve your image.
No one would dare to do any stunt like that mentioned in the video. People would get fired on the spot.
I was already aware that people turn into beasts after drinking. Still, I would never have thought it's possible for people to completely let their hair down in a "professional working environment". I am speechless. These are grown people who don't have limits and it's terrifying.
Office parties are crazy. I’ve worked at 2 law firms as a paralegal and been to their Christmas parties. Lawyers got money sooo…. They go all out and it gets crazy 😭 the one I went to a few weeks ago had an open bar. Everyone got messed up and the Monday after only 10 out of the 30 employees came to work 😭
Alana wasn't forced to stay at the party. When she was triggered by the windows being covered she could and should have left.
Please fix the blown out audio track on this video 😢❤
it wasnt just me!!! it was so painful to watch i just played it muted
I guess I should be glad that we were only allowed to have Sparkling Drinks at X-mas Parties because its still "work hours"
If you don’t like what’s going on at a party- LEAVE. Don’t be responsible for getting your coworkers fired- leave that to your manager.
I know it's not a popular opinion, because when people are expected to take responsibility for their decisions, it's called "shaming" or "victim blaming" by the ascended class of citizens who take it upon themselves to white-knight on social media - but i agree with you to a large extent.
If you aren't paid for attending the party, then it's not work = none of your employers business 🤷
I’m sorry but if you can’t handle yourself with drinks and drugs just don’t it’s not that hard 😅
the motto i live by at any party “know your limit, drink within it”
I overshare when I drink and I know this about me. That’s why you’ll never catch me drinking at a work function lol I don’t even think I’d be that embarrassing tbh but there’s a time and place and that ain’t it 😂
Listennnnn yesterday was my staff dinner and one of my coworkers ordered a seafood platter for herself, for context those are usually to serve 3+ people 😭 the look on my bosses face ! She ain’t coming back on Monday💀
Really? Shes getting fired for ordering an expensive meal? Was there a $ limit? Or have her pay for whatever was over limit.
@@lisaperry5999 no she’s not really getting fired, and no there wasn’t a limit. But seriously? Use your discretion! Lol it was in extremely poor taste to do that. @@lacommentaire141 fair, except that menu stated detailed information about the meal. So she definitely knew and didn’t care lol her response to it was “guys you know I loveee seafood!” 😅

Nope I wouldn’t be caught dead even attending an after work function
I have never been to any job function outside me getting paid during working hours 😂😂 fck that, i dont like you enough to hangout with yall 😂😂 im that co worker, the one who listens to all the tea next day 😂😂
The workplace is NEVER a place to completely let loose. There is a difference between worktime and freetime. If you get wasted while partying with friends-well you might get served some embarassing things you did. All fun and games. But at a workparty? It can end your carreer
And this is why I don't ever attend Holiday Work Parties or any work event!
They should be held accountable, if they cant control themselves in a work environment god only knows how they act at home.
Just don't serve alcohol 🤷♀️ Its easy as that
Yessss! Ive been waiting on this video ever since you posted the synopsis.
Thanks for the great content you put out!
Wow… every office party I’ve ever been to has been boring, wholesome wastes of time.
It's all about your own attitude when your at those party's your choices your problems
I could never of acted like that. 😮
Most of us learn how to control yourself at parties in high-school but some people have just never lived and don't know how to act
I have zero sympathy for people who don't know how to handle their alcohol consumption.
I’ve never heard of Taco Bell employees caring about their jobs and rightfully so. The fact Alana took it upon herself to put herself in the line of fire all over ruined Guac and her seeing her supervisors wife get her womenz on is craaaazy!
Even crazier is people threatening her with physical violence over her spilling the beans on the Taco Bell suarè
Never enjoyed work holiday parties or even after-work socializing. No thank you.
How does a Taco Bell employee actually afford a decent car or even rent a place to live in the Los Angeles area on Taco Bell wages? I thought these type of jobs were mostly for high school kids living at home, learning the skills and responsibilities of the workforce before going off to college!
You should have put this vid out last week as a PSA. It’s about 1 day too late for most of us
This is correct. I had to testify for hours last week because of a Christmas party.
I wonder what those people who can't spell or type entire words in their threatening texts all have in common? I can't quite put my finger on it.
People should be accountable for their actions ALL the time! Being intoxicated is no excuse!
Should grown adults be held accountable for their own inappropriate actions? Well duh!
I wish I was at that party 😂😂😂. All my office Christmas parties have been lit (not that crazy tho).
At our "Holiday" party this year the field personel drank a little & went bowling. The office people got out of hand. Somebody punched his manager, retired 2 days later under duress. At least 2 additional HR complaints were filed. Everyone was worried about us field/ construction guys but we were angels compared to the office people.
Yup. My managers have always had a no substance policy
My job didn't have a holiday party this year instead, we had secret santa
I like the Sloan quote “Let’s get into it” ❤
Ayeeee we go to this Taco Bell all the time 😂
I think it's suspicious they covered windows and cameras. We never had employee Xmas parties at our workplace.
I went to an insanely boring Christmas party once that was on a boat that puttered around in some water so we were basically trapped and then some hero had a heart attack and the party was cut short.
Happy holiday everybody be safe 🎄❤️🎄💚
First of all - IT'S TACO BELL! Not a place that the "Best and Brightest" go - either to eat or work.
When I was a minor I went to a work Xmas party for a retail store I worked for. Our manager hosted at her house. They drank a lot and did drugs, then the husband asked all the females to life their shirt so he could take photos. Other weird stuff too..
That's so messed up:/
Office parties like this shouldn’t even exist. I just want to do my job and go home.
Same!
I work for Taco Bell and we have alcohol at our parties most of the time. Nothing like this even remotely happens. All parties involved handled the situation poorly.
This is why I don't go to work parties. That and I because I'm a homebody.
I always loom forward to your uploads
People just don't have common sense or self control at all.
My office Christmas party was Wednesday. I work for the government. I stayed tf home. Lol
Okay but why did all of these happen in the USA?? I’ve never heard of a story like happening outside of the States 😂
It happened at my first Christmas party while working in a Japanese restaurant here in Malaysia. Staff and boss were all Chinese but the boss had some questionable friends. We were still open for business and still packed when the boss decided to start the party early. It got chaotic in an hour with the endless amount of alcohol they were consuming and I felt really uncomfortable since I was just 17 at the time. Needless to say I didn't stay for the party at all after clocking out. Glad I didn't since I heard from a coworker that the boss ' friends have been touching the 2 female staff that stayed. Came to the restaurant in the morning to discover an open door and a crazy stinky mess. The boss was also angry at me for not caring about his reputation and left instead of joining the party since his friends kept asking where I was. Never attended any parties afterwards that involves alcohol
Maybe because the UA-camr limited research to USA?
Every country under the sun - every ethnicity - every creed, color, religion - has degenerate people, man. Get off your high horse. I've lived here my whole life and I've worked my entire adult life - 20 years in the military starting in '86 - when times were wild and drinking at holiday parties was expected - and nothing like that ever transpired.

This is ridiculous and sadly is the norm in EVERY corporate retaurant. If you ever speak up you will always be retaliated against
Consider them social clubs society uses to keep people stable financially. They have their own laws and culture.
To say it's the "norm" in "EVERY" corporate restaurant is a bit extreme. How could you possibly know that?
