Too many chefs in the kitchen. Micah wants to lead but can’t really do that when there’s already leaders in place. I like D Law a lot and he’s a great piece to our defense i just hope Zimmer can be THE leader that defense actually needs because DQ clearly didn’t lead a damn thing.
Yup. This!
🎯💯
Zimmer hold players accountable which will be good for the Cowboys DC4LIFE
Zimmer nuttin like Dan Quinn do your research on him he's old school type of coach
Zimm gonna bring that attitude and accountability watch these boyz work💯
D Law an Micah need to converse get on the same page. But if Micah see something he can motivate then go for it. D Law kinda disappointed me in saying they were tired. A tru leader knows how and what to say to keep or get the fire 🔥 lit under the defense.
Facts!! There is a disconnect with the whole team and front office don't make it any better. I really hope Zim can change the atmosphere but Micah need to stop doing so many interviews and go to his brothers in love and motivation 💙
I agree, but hopefully Micah could be mature enough to lead
D-Law said it publicly, he's tired. There's no room for that in pro football.
He said "they" we tired, not him. Watch the film before talking trash, D Law brought it the whole game
Plus he doesn't get sacks of he got them Parsons wouldn't have to rush D-law don't get double team
@skwerl2003 D-Law spoke for himself he wouldn't speak for me a pro is not going to cosign on that trash it's your job. He gets paid millions to do.
Your absolutely correct on this perspective between CD & Coop vs MP & DLaw but they both so dope that i cant see that defense w/o DLaw
The coordinator definitely need to take over the identity… too many studs for there to be an identity crisis
Exactly, Parsons doesn’t want to step on DLaws foot, Parsons and DLaw should run as the leaders on that Defense together, I believe in what you said about DLaw as well I think this definitely might be his Last year as a Cowboy, your right honey!
Thanks for your break down, appreciate the work you do nobody says it better❗️💙🩶
Since when you need permission to become a leader
when someone else like D-law ha so much influence wiith the locker room, a new guy cant come in and LEAD. D-Law needs to go as he is part of the losing culture.
The leader appreciates the help! They dont mind someone else steppin up!
Ya just gotta hate to lose! Its part of doing all you can to help the team win!
This is the kind of things that bring teams together. It just sucks these kind of things obviously couldnt be talked about in the locker room. Micah has to take the leadership role. I suggest it that way versus handed over. The team will respond to whom they see as the keader no matter of coaches have patches put on certain people Jersey.
Lead bro just Lead!!!!
Micah can become more of a leader by simply talking to his teammates one on one. Or in the locker room. Stop talking about team issues with the media. He don't like being criticized but keeps giving them ammunition.
The best leaders lead by actions not by words
Very much true
Your 100% right. D law is the big boy out there and no ones gonna stand above him not even coaches. D Law is not the type of leader you want as the veteran everyone looks to. (5 yd penalty #90 D. Lawrence)
The last real leader our defense had was Lee.
Micah Parsons is are guy on Defense and there's no doubt about that in my eyes
Parsons mentioned D'Law because D'Law through the team under the bus on First Take.
Good defences are led by the MLB and good offences by the QB PERIOD! You wanna be the man Micah. Read the play and line up the boys.
D law can play on the tired field if he doesnt want to play
Yall can disagree but I’m team DLaw! And I don’t like Micah doing all this media hype stuff. I NEED TO SEE MORE PRODUCTION IN CRUCIAL MOMENTS!
Same as DLAW 🧐🧐 everyone needs accountability on the team no man on earth gets up on ESPN saying that bs to any enemy of one SAS all because some bs they felt was right to say in their heads fucked that. Say what you want Micah challenged and check Steven and tried to make him his bitch and Steven shut his mouth up. And football wise Brev Micah has a point about majority what he said in the interview
I disagree...I'm team Cowboys and I rather see "lead by example" and ONLY talk if you're producing with credibility or let the coach be the leader.
@@adwinprodigy I don’t think laughing and kekeing with SAS is checking him. That man has distain hate for us and laughs in our face every chance he gets and you probably don’t but I take that personally.🧐
@@forcecalibration924💯.
Dan Quinn is the boss that wants to be cool with his direct reports.
D Law my legs 🦵 were Tired
Parsons is going to be scary under Zimmerman watch what I tell you
Is the kneel and pick a tank replacement or is is a Sam Williams replacement? Because I been seeing a lot of people giving up on him maturing and growing up as a player and a man on this team. That’s just my thoughts
man ceedee could have done his thing with cooper here......... how much more dynamic we would have been with cooper? its crazy how other teams make it work but we creat these narratives like this
BS! I agree with Micah on some things but he is out of line saying that
D law is great trade bait rn
D Law should concede the leadership position to Micah. Gey out in front of it, pause.
It's obvious that the leader of this defense is Trevon Diggs it showed when he went down last season
D Law is the leader. And they did got tired because they wasn’t prepared or put in place to win. Cowboys offense couldn’t run, pass, or catch the ball. Holes in defensive schemes! Defensive Coach wasn’t on the field.
Demarcus “Check Collector” Lawrence is no leader
That response was soft Parsons is showing me that Kevin Durant syndrome
So we gone pretend like micah don't dissappear on the back end of every season
Just like dak
@trappahollik3113 I agree I'm talking bout micah cause he the one that run his mouth everyday.
I think D law is the guy who Micah needs though. Go out there and just be special lil bro I got the vocal command of the defense you just focus I can take on both. But also Micah could be the leader and best player.
I feel they all should the accountable and own up to there ship my man D Long been the the team long time if Mich feel that he should had step up he did do much either in that green bay game but what I well say D Long shouldn't did the interview if he felt he wasn't ready to take the hot from the sports analyst because they was waiting on them to point fingers out at each other to see who would the blame on when it was a team effort
Micah needs to go to dlaw and get under his wing. Thats crazy that mf’s would rather have clicks than grow as a unit. This shows bad on Micah not knowing how to put himself in position to get a clean hand over of the baton when dlaw leaves.
In order to lead you MUST first learn to be a follower.
Hold up look at what D law has been doing like footsdaking said Sam Willams could be replaced by kneeland ? Camp battles coming soon DC4LIFE
I think Micah should focus more on becoming a better run defender and stop worrying about who is the leader. If you do your job at a high level consistently, the leader will be chosen by their work ethnic and production on the field.
Micah becoming a better run defender playing what position? Let’s talk because this comment leads me to believe you don’t know football and how DQ’s defensive is orchestrated.
@@MrAWeezy86Just repeating what the haters and 3 and 4 letter networks say
@Carters2Cents Yes Andrew was
@@skwerl2003 yep
@Carters2Cents @MrAWeezy86 It is obvious the two of you don't know football to ask a dumb question like this and you all don't watch the film. Stop talking about things you know nothing about and learn football. Plus, I don't have to explain my comment to either of you. smdh
If Mich is coming & saying this he should think about when does his podcast and opening his mouth I am sorry if you feel to step to open your mouth to say thing to Social media & interviews then you can take roll of leadership
This team needs discipline on defense. Thats why i love zimmer taking over has DC, DQ was to much of a players coach, zimmer is from that Bill parcells tree 🌳, its about discipline, like Bill Belicheck says Do your job, no days off ,no plays off. Do your job
Why can't both lead? Age has nothing to do with it. Accomplishments matter and Parson's status in the league puts him in line as a leader regardless of age. Look at the Timberwolves right now? Anthony Edwards at 22 is the unquestioned leader even with vets like Mike Connelly, Kat, and Gobert on the roster. D-Law may have been there for 10 years, but a lot of the faces have changed, not to mention the Cowboys are still one of the youngest teams in the league, so many players are likely going to relate to Parsons over D-Law.
Micah Parsons on that Game of Thrones/MacBeth type of time. He knows DLaw is the leader of the defense & he wants that spot. Bro ain’t earned it imo. Parsons with the Vegeta vibes.. all talk, no action. By the way, CeeDee falls in that same category. I was NEVER on board with removing Amari just bc CeeDee wasn’t good enough to actually TAKE the job. That’s not how you do things if you trying to create a winning culture.
12 sacks in each of his first three seasons is not all talk.
@@amalshakur what he do in the playoffs? He got one sack in 4 career playoff games. 😒
What has dlaw done in the playoffs? Lol
@@ghosto50 you tell me. I told you what Micah has/hasn’t done. 😒 you probably don’t know what DLaw has done. Just here to fan for Micah Parsons 😑
Yes i remember that the last Sunday of the regular season when we beat Washington 38-10. On the field Dak said no i want more and didn't put that cap on , another thing i didn't really like was after they lost 42-10 to the 49ers, think they had a bye week then on the Monday night game in san diego, think the score was 20-17 ,they were celebrating like they had won the super Bowl, i know some of it was from how the media had talked about the team after the 49ers loss, but that wasn't a good look either
Ya, who likes a team that celebrates a win in the NFL AND a player said he wasn't satisfied without winning it all! I'm so shocked 😂
@@skwerl2003 the team was celebrating 🍾 not Dak he said he wanted more, Dak did and wouldn't put on the NFC east championship cap
Too many excuses ....just play ball and stop disappearing in the playoffs
I love how this comment is in every generic post a cowboy page make. It’s so bad I don’t know if y’all the same person Frfr copycatting the same responses shut up 🧐🧐 at the end of the day nobody asked you wtf they needa to be or do they some grown ass man mind your business are you getting paid for this ?????
Facts always get interpreted as excuses by people who are just ignorant to what's being talked about. You don't understand probably because you've never played the sport.
How is it excuses when he answering a question? He didn't just say it. He being asked and he gave his answers. That must be to hard to get for you?
@@troy028 if he want to lead, lead in the playoffs and stop crying ...oh I forgot hes nowhere to be found in the playoffs maybe the level of competition is to high for him or the lights are too bright 3 years of playoff time where is he? off the stat chart!
@@robycip9715 What are you looking for him to do? He isn't the defensive coordinator, he's just a player. A damn good one that wasn't getting used to his potential. He pretty much exclusively played DE last season but he's actually a inside LB. Dan Quinn should be ashamed of himself. He literally had 6 DBs in the entire game against Green Bay. Yes we were "short" at LB but the best LB on the team was made to exclusively play DE?!
D Law needs to be gone after this year Im still not over that dumb shit he said on First Take he gotta go
If you feel you can't lead it then you're not a leader... You just lead by doing leadership stuff.Lead by example.Especially in his case he's a star should be easy to lead... Maybe needs to focus more on leadership instead of podcast and travelling the world. He says Demarcus is a leader.Yet he came out on national tv saying they were tired.............😮
Lets drop all this leader crap. You know who will be the leader on this defense? MIKE ZIMMER DAMNIT! ENOUGH! I see it forming already. Zim is installing his own leader, hes tired of the mouth and jibber jabber!
I told yall Dlaw was the problem for the culture on defense!!!
Dlaw is no leader. He accused the team of being soft and tired in public. That's not a leader and he never has been. All talk
D-Law is Jason Garrett soft!!
Dlaw never been a team player
Micah parsons is nothing but a lebron James in shoulder pads.. what a front runner and a premadona .. smh yet he himself doesn’t lead by any type of example .. only example he can give it how to be selfish and market urself and be a big distraction from ur team and then how not to show up in big games and then throw everybody else up under the bus.. dak the only man who stood ten toes down after that loss and said I got to play better even after 450 yards 3 tds and 2 Ints.. smh he took responsibility just like a Jordan or Kobe did..
If your a leader your a leader bottom line.
I hope he don’t because he gets on my nerves like u complaing sayin we were tired nah u was tired
I try to defend Micah but damn he certainly don’t make it easy lol. Everyone in that locker room should try to be the leader.
Are you kidding me Parson…you have not earned the right to be that leader. What you and all the young players need to do is play your position. Just because you are a good defensive player, that does not mean you are ready to call the shots. What all defensive players need to do is be a winning championship team and stop playing inconsistent. It’s a few young players that are becoming full of themself and need to refocus. I am definitely a Tank (D-Law) fan and hope he stay around for a long time. I do know one thing with Zeke coming back, and may-be Zimmer there will be some locker room attitudes needed changes.
Parsons talk to much become a leader on the field that’s it that’s all
Nah man. Micah wrong for this and this is probably why you have some reports that people in the Star are tired of him. Do more in big games and leadership will come. Trying to push a guy out through the media because you aint prove you ready for his spot yet on the field and in the locker room is a problem. And I'm still pissed they traded Amari when they did. What has CeeDee done to help lead and make this receiving room better?
Micah is a big baby. Stop making excuses and grow up. Diggs is back that is our leader.. i like micah but the way he moves is bothering.. just 🤫 already and ball out.
Leaders don't get punched in the stomach by boxers on social media leaders don't wrestle sumo wrestlers leaders don't hang out with the Ops after you just got your ass whooped them
🤦🏿 Im sorry bro, but this year screams non playoffs and drama...
It would be great to see the defense find their footing this year. Talks like this is a good starting point if they’re looking for greatness. DCF4L 🦾
