Hello Tyler, When i have a made a mockup in Photoshop and saved it i can't open the file in blender because its not a blender file. How do I have to save it so I can open it in Blender. In your video you say (2:01) press save, and open de Blender file. And than you are in Blender and select Material Preview. But i an getting a white tee without design because I cant open my recent Photoshop File Because its not a Blender File. You know what i can do right now? Or how do i need to save the File?
Hi there! Once you add your own designs to the "Design.psd" file, it will automatically link to the T-Shirt material inside of Blender - you can't add your designs to any other file, it has to be the "Design.psd" file, as this is correctly mapped to the T-Shirt model. If you made any changes to this file once the Blender file was already open, you just need to reload the file (See from 2:52) to see your updated changes. Also make sure that you hide the guide layer in the photoshop file before saving. Please let me know if this helped you to solve your problem :)
Hi, great tutorial and great mock up. I've just purchased it, but when i open the blender file and change the fabric colour it only changes the inside of the tshirt. The normals are correct and flipping them only puts the design on the inside. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hey there! :) You need to make sure that you hide the guide layer in the Photoshop file so that only the design is showing and not the grey shapes of the shape guides - if these are still visible the colour and design blending in the material won't work properly. Let me know if that solved the problem.
My shirt color isn't even changing to the black I want to and set as default... no matter which preview I choose... also, how to I get rid of the text on the front and along the collar hems/stitching? More or less the shirt color remains white and I have no clue how to get rid of the default text thats on the shirt itself.
You need to hide the guide layer in the Design.psd file after you add your own design - the shapes and text are only there to help you place your designs, one you place your designs, click the eye icon on the layer called "Guide [Hide before save]" .
No my man thats not the problem, the problem is trying to remove the text so I can render a plain still image of a tshirt... but it seems for some reason a design MUST be added in order for the text to go away and th3 color of the shirt u want to get... yes? @tylerbrooks_media
@@tylerbrooks_mediaalso Im not seeing my rendered image of the shirt after rendering... and yes I chose a specific folder for renders....I don't really have use for the animations right now.
Hi Lukas - I just responded to your mail that you sent. For anyone else who experiences the same issue - this is due to using an out of date version of Blender. Make sure you have the latest version installed before opening the file, so that all the features work correctly and nothing is missing.
I'm not sure why this happens with some users, but the simplest way around is to simply save the design file in another location as a different name, then relink the file as usual in the shader editor according to the steps shown in the tutorial when refreshing the design. Let me know if that fixed the issue :)

Hi Jordan! The actual shape of the shirt with the text on etc is just a guide, so you place your design over the shapes/text where you want them to appear, then you must hide the layer containing the shapes and text so that only the layer with your design is visible, does that make sense?
Hey great video, i downloaded the pack and in my PC I cannot save the design on the Photoshop it gives me an error saying I cannot modify a file that is only meant to be read.

We are currently working on a big update for the clothing mockups to be released in the next coming days - features for more custom control over fabric textures will be included👍🏻
Are you in the material preview, or render preview mode? (The 3rd + 4th Icons that are at the top right of the 3D viewport), by default Blender opens on the viewport shading mode which doesn't show any textures.
Is there a way you could re-make this mockup sleeves and the front bottom of the shirt to show designs better? I do huge designs on the front, back and sleeves and want my customers to properly see what patterns is on there.
Hi! :) We modelled this T-shirt based on an oversized fit, so the sleeves are more flared out / caved than a regular shirt - however we are developing a large catalog of 3D mockups, so there might be something more suitable for your specific designs on our store soon (We are releasing a Slim Fit T this week which might be better for your purposes). If you'd like, you can subscribe to the mailing list on www.tylerbrooks.media to keep updated for when the mockup collection is complete.
@tylerbrooks_media yes please! I recently made a purchase of a blender 3d one, it is a very good product but I soon found out it distorts my designs to the point where my artwork isn't showing fully on the front and the sleeves, your version seems better just the sleeves on this one detered me a bit from making the purchase. Oh and my front designs range from 14 inches wide x 24 inches in height with designs on both sides of the sleeves, so my next purchase have to fit my needs. I hope you don't think I'm trying to put a negative spin on ur products as I said this is one of the best 3d mockups I've seen so far. 🙂
Thanks for your kind feedback, it's much appreciated! The templates are available on our webstore www.tylerbrooks.media (The link is in the description too), they are templates for the 3D software Blender.
Thanks for your support! You are able to change the fabric colours, add or remove labels, but there is no functionality to change sizes of specific parts of the garment - this wouldn't be possible with the walk animation and wind simulation, especially because of the process of how those are created. We are still working on an extensive catalog however, with more options of other fits of shirts (This mockup is based on an oversized fit), and when we release the full catalog there will be discount codes and sales, but I hope you are able to still get the most out of this mockup for your project. We can offer more extensive direct customer support if you contact us through email or the contact form on the site.
Hey there - please email me or use the contact form on my website so I can help you - if you can send screenshots of your project file that would help me get a solution as quick as possible for you
Hey there! If you sign up for our newsletter on the website, you will get coupon codes when new templates/products are released, as well as when we run sales etc.
Thank you! The walk cycle can't be perfectly looped 100% because of the nature of the cloth simulation happening - but it is possible to line up the rotation keyframe in such a way that it could match the end and beginning of the walk cycle, and then do a quick opacity fade between two exported clips so that the garment folds have a less noticeable transition back to the start of the walk cycle, resulting in something that appears close to a perfect loop. If you'd like me to help you out with this directly and give more detail and a practical example - please reach out to me via email and I'll help you right away :)

There are dozens of these kinds of 3D mockups out there, just like there are thousands of Photoshop mockups for clothing. We have just set ours apart from the competitors by adding extra features, and making the process as user-friendly as possible compared to what we've seen out there. We have a two-man team working on these mockups, we create the garments from scratch, do the simulations from scratch, and the modular material in Blender is our own custom node setup. Everything you see here is 100% originally created and with care - you're welcome to compare the details with the others you have seen and decide for yourself which you prefer :) PS: My first version of this idea pre-dates all of our competitors (It is an Animated After Effects Mockup) - go and see the date of the video for yourself (6 April 2022): ua-cam.com/video/nsHom22JxzE/v-deo.htmlsi=xID0jpZzI3NleK-r I want everyone seeing this to note that I won't delete this comment, because we are proud of the work we put into this mockup, and we're confident that it stands apart in quality from what's currently out there.
Hi there :) The commercial license does cover the use for international marketing. What it limits is physical marketing - for example billboards and physical posters. Do you need to set up billboards or posters in multiple countries? If so, I'm sure you would have the extra budget for an extended license. The commercial license allows you to advertise digitally internationally - I'm sorry if this was not clear, I'll make sure it's highlighted on the license information, thanks for your feedback!
Hey there :) At 1:10 in the video, there is a chapter called "Add your Design" - simply open the Design.psd file that comes with the template, add your image onto the clearly marked sections of the shirt (Eg. front, back, right sleeve, etc). That's all there is to it - once the Design.psd file is saved it will show up on the 3D shirt in the Blender file.

How to resize neck tag
Hi! There is no feature built in to resize the tags, only to enable/disable them.
Great, job man, how can I make this animation loop forever? I am using the walking rotation cycle .
@@tylerbrooks_media Doing my best to achieve that, failing hard, so hard hahahaha
Send me an email and I'll send a recording or we can set up a discord chat :)@@olexand2952
I want to buy but it doesn't accept my card what should I do
Hey - our store uses Stripe and Paypal as payment gateways, so it accepts most credit cards and Paypal - if you're trying to pay with a debit card it might not work, as most debit cards are just not able to make online payments.
Where did you get the file
Hey there! The mockup file is linked in the description. Here is the link: tylerbrooks.media/b/3d-t-shirt-mockup
Do you do custom mockups?
Not at the moment unfortunately, but if you have suggestions for mockup templates you would like to see made, we are open to suggestions :)

So are you chargin for something you stole? I'm repporting you for copyright.
Everything you see here is 100% originally created and with care - you're welcome to compare the details with the others you have seen and decide for yourself which you prefer :)
PS: My first version of this idea pre-dates all of our competitors (It is an Animated After Effects Mockup) - go and see the date of the video for yourself (6 April 2022): ua-cam.com/video/nsHom22JxzE/v-deo.htmlsi=xID0jpZzI3NleK-r
I want everyone seeing this to note that I won't delete this comment, because we are proud of the work we put into this mockup, and we're confident that it stands apart in quality from what's currently out there.
Would have sold a lot more if the commercial license covered the use for marketing internationally....
You don't even know how to give a best beginner tutorial, i don't know how to even add a image🚶
Hey there :) At 1:10 in the video, there is a chapter called "Add your Design" - simply open the Design.psd file that comes with the template, add your image onto the clearly marked sections of the shirt (Eg. front, back, right sleeve, etc). That's all there is to it - once the Design.psd file is saved it will show up on the 3D shirt in the Blender file.
is there any free mockup with layers? i cant afford to buy whats in your store
We are planning to convert these mockups to layered Photoshop versions soon.
