A Quick tip which you might wanna try out or do before you repair your other Reactor. You can Fuse same type of items just like when you Fuse in Kuva Lich weapons. You can fuse Wreckages in turn of 40% of the required resources which saves you up by a lot. If you worry about your perk you can choose which of the perks you want to inherit when you do Fusion If you are using Tether as your main source of damage to mobs I think hit-scan weapons would be good for quick shots and precision. Like Pulsar for example. The beauty of Tether is that you literally don't need any high tier weapon so you can use the normal Pulsar to kill all the mobs with Tether. Just began playing Railjack a week ago but this is the knowledge I've collected while making mistakes. It's just that in the video I saw some things that might have done without noticing the small details so I wanted to point it out. Sorry if its not the case xD
Upgrade your tycho seeker in your dojo, then install the tychoseeker 3. You get like 34 shots at standard which is pretty crazy. Enjoy, I like railjack
0:54 This ability of Railjack is/was bugged , but i think they didn't fixed it in latest patch. My friend hosted because he had better railjack and he said that I should drive, and he told me about that ability. I used it on the group of enemies and shoot at it to make it explode, it explode and my friend was confused that it didn't done any damage. I used it again and again and again but still 0 damage to enemies. My friend get on steers used that ability shot at it and it dealed damage. Later he used it again, but I was sitting in one of the side guns I shot at that ability and again 0 damage. It seems like this ability is bugged and works only for HOST. Until is was one time bug.
One small tip I will recommend to everyone new-ish on RJ: on intrinsic lvl 3 or 4 (I think) u get the ability to teleport inside ur ship, u press L and a map will show, then click on the white squares to teleport there, my suggestion is to go to options and change that key for R, and vice versa, u will have more easy access to it, if u have a mouse with extra buttons totally go for it This have saved me hours of running around the ship looking for the foundry thing XD
Yeah! I mean, I'm sorry about all new players with so much content going on! Nightwave, eidolon, operator, modular weapons, fishing & mining, hunting, railjack, arcanes, archwing, focus, amps, primes... It's so much!!
Once you've gotten a decent RJ with mk2-mk3 equipment, players should gun for the following for a top of the line ship = Shield Array: Zekti or Vidar, both are very good, Zekti has stronger regen while Vidar has more capacity Engines: Vidar, better base speed since boost got nerfed. Reactor: Vidar again, 100 avionics capacity one maxed out Tier 3 Vidar and Lavan can be gotten reliably from Veil, Gian Point is easily the best for them with weapons dropping from crewships fairly commonly, maybe 1 in 4 Tier 3 Zekti however is Ruse War Field due to the high rate of Elite Outriders. This mission takes longer Zekti Apoc/carcinnox: Damage and high rate of fire. Heat can be countered with polar coil Tycho Mk3: Can take out Crewship shields up to early veil missions in 1 shot = BulkHead: Health, no question Hyperstrike: you need damage Forward Artillery: 90% bonus damage to cannon? Wrecks crewships quickly, but will still need some plasma procs to ensure the one shot on late veil missions Artillery cheap shot: 50% to not use an artillery charge. VERY useful Polar Coil: More bullet from turret Predator: crit chance up 80% Section density: crit damage up by 78.4% Conic Nozzle/ Cruising Speed: better base speed in general/out of enemy range. Very useful when resource farming Hyperflux: More battle avionic uses. = Munitions Vortex: see a ramsled? Pop this, shoot into it, wait for the sled to get close and recast to pop destroy quickly. Very little accuracy required Tether: Just a monster of an ability. Cast to group up so enemies and shoot the tether point to inflict about 5k damage in a big aoe. Explosion won't one shot on late Veil but can set up for munitions vortex or... Void Hole: Railjacks CC king. Even if enemies somehow don't get dragged in, they can't fight back due to Ice procs disabling them. Seeker Volley: Very useful at taking out fighters even up to late veil, but CC will outrun it at this point. That being said, don't overlook it = Battle Forge: Handy for long runs when doing missions back to back and needing to reload everything. Void Cloak: If out of Doma charges or flux energy and you need to reload, pop this, make some more of what you need, and back to the fight. Max Rank gives 55 seconds. Only issue is if a ramsled is out BEFORE you pop it, the game will move the ramsled to your last known position, which if you neglected to move from will result in a boarding party. Intruder Stasis: That nightwave challenge being a bother? *Boop* Now it's not. Not my first choice since boarding parties are easy to take down now, but still something you should consider. = I didn't mention Maxima as some component bonuses actually trigger when shields are disabled, such as a bonus to turret damage. It's better to focus on keeping the hull at max, but something to mention is hazards. One of each hazard can be active at a time, so the risk of failing a mission is lower. So if you take a hull breach, you can reasonably ignore it, but a fire hazard you absolutely cannot, as from what I've seen, you take a lot more damage when that is up. An electrical hazard sit in between a hull breach and a fire in that it can be ignored, but should be patched up at some point. = Everything said in the video is what you should follow until you get mk 3 equipment and good battle avionics. If you have to, hop into trade chat for munitions vortex, tether, void hole and seeker volley. Do NOT spend more than 20plat per avionic, everything after that is stealing or extortion. = I hope some find this useful. I know it's a long read, but it covers a lot. For more info, I'd recommend going to the wiki for drop locations and chances. -Peace
Now you seem quite experienced, so I will put my question here to hopefully clear up confusion for both me and other people. There is a shield which on kill reroutes 50 energy to shields, from gameplay I know ita not flux, but it also doesn't seem to work either. Is it broken or just not useful in general?
Now, I won’t sit here and tell people how to play like it’s set in stone fact, that’s an idiotic thing to do. But I will leave this suggestion, Zetki shield arrays are real nice. Low capacity, but with the trade-off of short recharge delay and high recharge rate. As with many things in later stages of the game, building for high shields is debatable, since even in this mode, shields get shredded faster than you can blink. My Zetki shield array has only 1500 capacity, but has a 1-second recharge delay and 20%/s recharge rate. So sure, while my ship’s shields will get shredded pretty quickly, it won’t be long until they begin recharging.
I know this comment is old but I do have to add my piece, I personally do not enjoy leading targets with something like the Apoc, if the carcinnox is a good alternative I will try it but I've really been enjoying the Talyn.
A couple of extra tips for this handy guide: 1) If a crewship has no shield, a Tenno can hop in the slingshot at the top of the ship and fire into the crewship hull to board the ship and take out the reactor. 2) If you run out of ammo for your Tycho launcher, you can still take down the crewship shields by aiming your guns (or archwing gun) at the dark knobs peaking out of the hull. Those are the shield generators. Good luck space ninja cadets!
Also destroying all 3 engines of a crew ship disables it and kill half of its crew. It's a good way to deal with them you're soloing since they can't do anything in this state except sending an enter capsule which you can easily destroy.
And from my experience, destroying the engines always made the crewship shoot out a boarding party ramsled. Knowing that, you can probably just shoot the things before they even get to your RJ.
Use cold archgun to freeze crewship in space, enter at the back door, void dash to the reactor and hack it while cloaked, void dash to the platform, switch to frame shoot the reactor with kitgun a couple of times, exit the crewship. You can do it fast and enemy crew won't fire a shot upon you, if they do you can keep Hirudo as melee weapon and if they damage you kick someones ass before leaving just to fill up your HP.
"0.01% chance from a rare enemy" Why DE. Things like this is why this game mode promotes leeching until you have your boat set up. Not to mention Vidar reactor is bassically a no choice, because even with a maxed Vidar MRIII reactor you still can't fit every slot. RJ still needs tweaking, especially in the drop rates and the reactors.
I named mine the Grindboat. Also I did not even know the artillery cannon was a thing until I saw that nightwave mission. I was slingshotting myself into crewships and then teleporting back.
One suggestion I have for the tactical avionics is void cloak, it helps a lot for solo play, since it makes all of the crew-ships turn leave you alone while you pick them off with artillery.
-Zetki Apoc -Lavan Shield Array -Vidar Reactor -Zetki engines ^that's what i've been told by multiple people in game and what i've also seen on here for building the railjack as for the battle avionics i've heard Seeker Volley is the "meta" now for it since Void Hole got some kind of nerf but after seeing Tether here i'm gonna try that given i happened to get it a couple times
No need for Seeker Volley as Seeker Volley is rendered inefficient and expensive in Veil Proxima btw. Tether practically overwhelms Seeker Volley, it is cheaper and deals more damage/unit. Void hole can still be used to pair up both Tether or Munitions Vortex though personally I just don't use 3rd Ability of Avionics. I just go near and erase them from existence with Tether and a hit-scan weapon xD.
In my case I use -Zekti Shield Array with +25% Railjack damage while shield depleted trait -Vidar Engines with +50% boost speed while shield depleted -Vidar Reactor with +100% damage immunity duration after a Major Breach is repaired Honestly Reactor is mostly personal preference. Whether you want more Flux, or Avionics, or a specific trait from them. Weapons depend on what you would pair them with since tbh they don't do much damage compared to Battle Avionics. I use Zekti Photor but Pulsar works as well since I use them just to shoot down Tether. For those who don't have Tether they might want to use Apoc, Carcinnox, or Cryophon. Cryophon and Carcinnox are good with dealing the Crewships as they might make them stall for a bit. giving time for the Forward Artillery to shoot them. but i go for Carcinnox over Cryophon. People choose Cryophon to go againts crewships but the problem is that it disables thrusters. No thrusters = No one shot. Carcinnox makes the enemies inside crewship fight each other thus it is practically equal to the crewship being disabled but with thrusters still on.
I use Lavan Shield Array/Lavan Engines/Vidar Reactor. I like the speed from Lavan engines, allows me to scoot along picking up resources and swirl behind Crewships to shoot them myself (most of my play being solo)
@@thegrindshack if you use lots of battle avionics like tether, maybe consider using Lavan reactor (middle ground between flux/avionics) and hyperflux, it's basically a primed flow for your RJ. And you don't actually "need" to use your 100 avionics capacity that Vidar reactors give you, I built all of them and Lavan for my playstyle works best
2 minutes in and I already discovered my problem. I thought it was like the old warframe where you have to finnish the node to get another, but now it’s time to rank them
Same Boat CMDR, I start doing solo Railjack, and I have to say it's fun!. A couple of Hints: Farm the Anomaly all you can (bring Paracesis), you get tons of Dirac from caches, Ships parts (From enemy's in the map and the map reward), and you are working in Shedu and the sweet Ephemora. Another thing with booster, you can lvl up your weapons super fast. And don't forget to FUSE your parts duplicates ships parts to get the best stats from them. Great video !
One tip I would give is that if you need titanium or asterite phanaghoul satelite on earth is a great node for it. You can ram the little asteroids of titanium with your railjack or get out and shoot them. I get a couple thousand every run.
Even though I already had my railjack fairly geared, I thought I’d give your set up a try. I was sorely mistaken in thinking mine was set up! Void hole is amazing but tether is 10x better
from my experience, if you aim your heavy artillery on the engines of the crewship it does alot of extra damage to it, i dont even run the damage avionic for the artillery because i just oneshot the crewships this way.
Nice video. I'm still finally building my railjack, but have spent a lot of time in public games improving my intrinsics and acquiring avionics and mkii scrap. I've also found that running with public games is a great way to rank up frames and gear and make money.
I'm so lucky, I was just playing a bit of railjack to do the quest there without having a proper railjack. A few weeks later I started working on my railjack and saw that I just so happened to have Void Hole without even knowing or farming
When soloing shoot the 3 engines of the crewships to immobilize and disarm them and use tether to kill all fighters before going FA to kill crewships. The only annoying part about solo is the ramsleds. Tether tip: park behind an asteroid or crippled crewship and use those to stop the tether moving too far or pulling fighters in between you and itself.
I use to hate RJ so much but after the revised update it became much much more fun. It became one of my favorite game modes. I hope DE won't forget the RJ revisited part 2. I really need that command intrinsics.
To put void hole in perspective, I group up close to twenty fighters in a single blast if I get multiple lines of them involved, from there a single missile kills them all instantly, no fuss, no fancy footwork and it saves resources. It’s rare but it is entirely worth it. [Side tip: Want Dirac? Go to veil proxima wherever the sentient ship is located, skip everything else and park your RJ inside the ribs, it’s completely safe. Loot all of the containers in the tile and you’ll often come out with 600+, restart the mission from your RJ and repeat. I’m sitting on 30,000 in reserve for when new stuff is added.]
Dont see why everyone is complaining about more content. You dont need to play if you dont want to. I think this mode is fantastic...feels like a totally different game.
Took me 3 days to run from 0 to completing all nodes and complete a veil anomaly solo. I'm glad they reworked it, It's a very fun game mode. Regarding "Best" RJ parts, I think it's all preference, I have friends who run Zetki Reactors while I run Vidar, some people like Flux I like my avionics. Only thing that's 100% best is Tether. Side note, you can upgrade your Tycho Seeker missiles to mk3 using Clan research.
You can improve your railjack to a point that it can handle veil missions without problems without leaving the earth proxima. Use your clan research terminal next to your railjack terminal. That's the only place for now to get the Tycho Seeker Missile Mk 3.
I crewed on other people's ships until I had all tier 3 gear before ever taking my ship on a non-quest mission. That way I learned how to properly be a crewmember first and I had a beast of a ship on it's first day out of the dock.
And if you want to deal with a crewship later, just destroy all of their engines! They will not shoot back with their weapons and they will not move around! Though I believe they are capable of launching ram sleds still, heal bubbles too but it honestly it doesn't look like they do anything right now other than sponge your shots.
@@deitylurker120 Shooting the engines of a crewship down seems to trigger a ramsled, that or I just take them down so fast the "time from detected" still has to wear off. Just wait and shoot the ramsled down before jumping in the artillery seat.
My entire railjack is built around voidhole since it's a crowd control, but I was the same at first I would join random party's to get a hang of it and how it worked, so by the time I built my own I had a lot of materials.
I’ve found that shield avionics are almost useless if you aren’t using a lavan shield. Especially with a zekti shield, you already recharge super fast and they take out your shields super fast anyway. Basically you get a little survivability from the quick recharge delay but increasing the capacity or charge rate is almost useless. That slot is better used for section density anyway
I never did a single Railjack mission until Scarlet Spear. Just doing that event I upgraded my entire grid, and got all my intrinsic to level 9. Currently sitting on like 12k Dirac. Actually I'm glad I did so much Scarlet Spear, not only did I get all the Arcanes; I upgraded my ship to the point were Railjack is actually fun to do solo. My only regret was not switching to Space from Ground sooner.
They should change the railjack so only the owner can access navigation, because after o finish the mission I fly about to collect resources and a random player immediately starts another mission
Unless you have pretty much everything, Intrinsics completed, and Archwing mods. It's best to board the Crew ships then just destroying them. Unless your playing solo. Let the player who needs Intrinsics to board crew ships.
A tip for killing those Crewships on VEIL PROXIMA:- 1.If they have shields on then use Tychoo seeker to blow it with 1-shot. Or destroy the 3 shield generators- 1 one the bottom, 2 on the top. 2. Aim the Forward Artillery to any of the 3 boosters/rockets(whatever it's called, with which they fly) then shimply shoot, 1-shot every VEIL crewship as well see pretty RED CRITS flying around.
1: The left console in the railjack dock lets you research and purchase railjack weapons and parts without having to grind for the weapon blueprints themselves. The base parts (no Mk designation) are either available to build or easily research, but researching Mk. I to Mk. III items will take resources and time (unskippable). 1.1: Weapons and parts from research will not have a House modifier (Lavan, Vidar, Zekti). These houses tweak the items with extra damage or fire rate in exchange for some other downsides. House-modified items only drop from missions and are more expensive to produce than their base research versions. 1.2: Research is the only way to get improved versions and different types of ordnance. 1.3: Mk. III house weapons will come with a bonus stat like a Kuva weapon. However, each weapon will always roll that one stat (i.e. every Lavan Photor Mk. III will roll for extra damage). 1.4: Weapons from the same house can be fused together like Kuva weapons to strengthen the bonus stat. You don't even need to build the weapon that's being used as fusion fodder. 1.5: Mk. III house parts will come with a bonus effect. There's a few that each house can roll for the parts, but no houses share any effects. 1.6: Parts from the same house can be fused as well. However, this doesn't strengthen the bonus effect. You can fuse parts with different bonus effects, but you will not get both effects. You will be prompted to choose between them at the fusion screen. The fusion fodder part also does not need to be built. 2: For tactical avionics, I recommend Form Up. It can possibly save players that are bugged out and stuck in places they can't escape from (for example, being inside a crewship that gets domed). No need to rank it up. 3: When doming crewships, aim for center mass and try not to hit the side engine cells. You could end up wasting a lot of dome charges when you only needed one (as shown at 10:35). 4: A full strength railjack can be manned by just two people, a pilot who will be doing most of the flying and killing, and an all-arounder who can bounce between the forward artillery and the forge with the rank 3 tactical intrinsic Command Link that allows them to warp between different points in the ship. They'll also be in charge of handling the borders and status effects (fires, breaches, etc.). 4.1 A three-person crew could skip the dome charges completely and have a dedicated slingshotter to kill crewships. It's not as fast as instantly vaporizing them, but it's more fun for the slingshotter who can just blast their way in and take out the crewship reactor and recall back to the ship in about 15 seconds. Rhino recommended for tankiness but more importantly the stomp which should buy him enough time to do the deed and get out without issue. Rank 4 tactical intrinsic Recall Warp and rank 4 gunnery intrinsic Archwing Warhead required. 5: In order to build lots of Mk. III stuff, you will need a lot of titanium. Farm it from earth missions by quickly doing a short mission, then staying behind to methodically tear apart every resource node. Most people use Particle Ram to use the enlarged hitbox to ram all the nodes while only needing to be cast once per mission. However, I use Shatter Burst as it rips up huge swaths of area in exchange for needing to be cast multiple times over the mission. 5.1: When farming titanium, get a resource booster if you can afford it. DE upped drop rates and sizes in their balance pass, but you'll still need ludicrous amounts of it.
Yup even with the increased titanium gains, the titanium required to repair wreckage is still ridiculously high 12-15k, and also Trachons are a pain to farm.
1) Use particle ram at earth missions for post mission bonuses for faster resource farm. U are practically almost afk and this is the best resource farming method. 2) ofc, gian point... Enough said.. 3) a lot of people are recommending getting vidar reactor for max avionics capacity.. get lavan instead.. it has higher flux capacity for ability spam for continuous multiple runs and it gives more than enough avionics capacity as well.. Rest everything has been covered well by squad leader.. ty
Strange how I never see anyone make mention of the Tenno Catapult within the Railjack. You can bypass the need for artillery ammo entirely by using it to fire yourself or other friendly Tenno into the Crewships. From there they can either hijack it or blow the reactor to hell and teleport back to the ship. You can even use yourself or teamates as anti-fighter warheads. It's quick, handy, and very fun. Just remember to let the pilot know before jumping into the thing so they can help you line up the shot. Edit: As a Valkyr main, I've developed a particular addiction to the catapult. There is just something special about getting fired through the hull of a crew ship, then triggering Hysteria and painting said crew all over the ships walls before blowing the reactor. It's a wonderfully cinematic experience that has yet to get old :D
Protip that I don't think I see many people talk about: Get Tactical and Engineering to rank 10 and then pick which one you do the most (Gunnery vs Piloting. I'm personally a pilot because I get motion sick easily) and rank that to 10. Leave the last intrinsic at rank 9 and you'll be able to keep getting intrinsic points for Commander when it comes out. Another tip: Take one of the parts you plan to permanently keep (crafted) and fuse (valence fusion option) blueprints into it for half the cost of the materials and a boost in stats. It has to be the same house. And in the case of turrets, I'm pretty sure it has to be the same type (apoc with apoc and not apoc with photor for example)
My biggest problem with doing those Saturn and Veil missions is that there are pretty much never open squads. (I don't do recruit chat because it takes ages to get a response)
Grind hard squad i have tip for you because i am not sure if you know and i think that 90% of all players dont know that you can click on the equpied weapon or shield or engine or reactor and then down on the right side where you can click on the scrap the second option its fusion so basiclly we can fuse the same parts example you can fuse vidar reactor mk3 with the second vidar reactor mk3 or vidar mk2 vidar mk1 part but first you must repair the second part if you want to fuse 2 parts together however i have a vidar mk3 vith 100 avionics capacty and 100 flux capacty i must say this is really game changing so it would be nice if you would make a video about this fusion because alot of people dont know anything about this i personal figured out yesterday and thats very important to know i hope that i help you least a little bit with this information and i expect a short video about this fusion because we all need to know this :)
I recently returned to the game after few months and didn't know they changed few things about RJ. It's was pretty hard to find do I need 2 crafted parts to fuse or can one be crafted and one that will get consumed bp.
never understood why they have 5 stations and only 4 people max for the ships, seems weird. Also with a 100 avionic Vidar i still dont have enough room for the mods i want to use, they really need to revisit their costs.
Also if you are the pilot or the side gunners try to leave at least an engine one Bec the forward artillery does 2x the damages that way and can even oneshot crewships in the Vail.
With the changes to RJ, I prefer speed. Carcinox for armor strip and Apocs in the sides. Tyco seeker mk 3 should one shot the shield on crew ships and while in the vail just aim for the crew ship engines with the forward artillery. I could list all of what I run, but it is bed time for now.
(Xbox One GT: Syrso) My Intrinsics are 10-9-9-10 very close to 10-10-9-10. My Railjack "Solomon" is capable of easily doing Veil Proxima (Soloed even). Also capable of activating Particle Ram & driving forward & completely bypassing all of Saturn & Earth by pushing forward. If you need a carry for MK IIIs as well as farming Avionics, Shedu, Spectra Vandal, etc. I WILL GLADLY take you through & answering all questions you may possibly have!
Quick tip for high level crew ships : shoot one of the three reactors with the forward artillery, instakill or at least 80%+ health gone Super handy when U are lvling up but must play solo or in your RJ for some reason
Gotta saw from all the warframe partners your guide to RJ is simple, serious and informative it's the best guide and you helped me get my RJ to a point I never thought I would get it to so HGS thank you for this guide very well done!! As for QuiteShallow...... no comment
I disagree slightly with how to invest your intrinsic points early on. Because of how the costs scale, doubling every level, you should level you stats evenly until they are all rank 5, as its pretty cheap and unlocks all the essential abilities for each role. After that you can focus on tactical and engineering. You can go for rank 4 tactical first thou as it only costs 15 points to go from 0 to 4. But yeah, in the beginning levels are cheap, spread your point around.take rank one in everything immediately to star.
I must disagree with you in regards to the shield array. I would say the best shield is one with lowest shield recharge delay. In my games I found it better to have a faster time to get the shield back up better than having a tanky shield
I can solo Veil missions with Nova, Ember, Mag, pretty much anything, because 90% of it is sitting inside your ship in total safety. The problem with Eidolons is that a Warframe's HP doesn't regenerate like your Railjack's does, and you only get 4 revives instead of the infinite you get by repairing the hull breach of a railjack. I can solo the first two Eidolons with Chroma, but make no mistake, Eidolons are harder than Railjack by a fucking mile.
Most people likely still prefer Particle Ram in that slot it costs no energy after the intial cast and you keep it up passively dealing damage for the rest of the mission with no energy cost and when you use void hole it basically already has the same functionality as Tether but in a larger area.
I just hope the command Intrinsics allow us to auto-forge, command our converted liches to fight intruders, man the turrets and forward artillery and repair breaches and hazards.
Nowadays I bored.. I farmed lichd before but it got boring as well but Railjack is really great I just got my Railjack yesterday so this guide was helpful. Thank you!
So is it just me or is the aim sensitivity for piloting in general just too strong?? i just got mine built and initially configured yet piloting it is borderline horrible; i'm always overshooting my aim and it maneuvers way too fast to make it enjoyable.
You pretty much need 4092 Intrinsics to max all (1023 per system) anyway so you could just keep joining others or friends in Veil Proxima and keep farming if you have no plans of using your own railjack for now. Also maxing all four classes gives you a total of 60,000 MR. Link to more info on Intrinsics. warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Intrinsics
Dear Grind Hard Squad, I have a question for you . Is it possible to go now and farm intrinsicks idk how to call it . With silent kill ivara prime on a railjack Mission. I am stucked at Rank 9 and dont know how to farm 512 of These Please help Thanks
For anyone on console: there’s this bug for using the intrinsic ability to teleport around the ship in which the map moves positions depending on where you are in the RJ, I was just curious if anyone had the same thing because it’s quite bothersome at times
I used cryophon before and I cant hit the tether with it (even at 10 m range). So, for people try to use tether strat, don’t waste repair drone or resources on it if you want to focus on using tether.
Now is the Best moment to build/upgrade the railjack, with the recent buff in exp gain, resources amount per map and enemys easier to kill. Still buggy, but tolerable 😝 Excellent tips you give in this video
Just like the base game, shield capacity doesn't matter as much as recharge rate for gating. I don't think there's shield gating in Railjack yet, but if you boost away from enemy fighters with a fast recharge, you can get all your shields back and start regenerating health before they can catch up to you. Once you get a faster railjack, you can spend entire missions running backwards and forcing the fighters to fly straight at you, making them easy to pick off with regular turrets instead of tether as well.
I have a question, a stupid question maybe: at the end of a mission with someone else's railjack, how do I exit alone without losing all my rewards? Can I just select "abort mission" at the end? I always ended up doing 4/5 missions waiting for the "leader" to come back to dojo....
Once you've had the mission end screen come up (showing your loot and affinity collected) and they are on to the next mission you can quit without losing anything.
“We should always bring some friends to tag along.” Hehe... I’ve been trying to solo Veil Proxima with a moderately-modded Railjack for months now... Not fun.
Once all your intrinsics are maxed, its a doddle :D Even just the engineer so you can remote fix things will get you through solo easily. I got majorly pissed off at people leeching the sentient ship and then quitting, so I forced myself to go solo lol
@@MsBikerBird, at a certain point, I got so fed up I just invested in a Mesa Prime for her 4, and a Limbo Prime for his 2 and 4. Mesa’s 4 easily dispatches even the toughest of Sentients, and no Grineer in the mode is a threat when they can’t move.
Nobody doesn't have to tell you that just read what it gives you up to Max rank if it benefits you your team and your railjack rank it up if it doesn't don't bother
Don't want to be that "ackchyually" guy, but Tether turns Gian Point into sub 3 minutes long mission even when doing it solo. You just have to have fully maxed Forward Artillery and Hyperflux avionics. Also, Veil is now one of the best ways of levelling stuff(frames, weapons, companions) and farming credits. You can get up to 15 levels on your weapon(if you have only one slotted) in just one run without affinity booster.
Thank you so much. I will surely try out your suggestions in game. Also, I'm planning to release a new leveling video for this year with railjack on it. SO yeah. xD
What you said how that even relevant. You said you stopped playing a couple years ago you do realize railjack came out 2 years ago. A lot of stuff at Warframe changed. If you are Mastery 14 you can make a necramech which is very similar to a Iron Man Hulkbuster suit. There's even talk in the future there's no extremes are going to allow people to use their necramech in missions like survival.
I just got my RJ build, and my lord there's so much stuff to process in regards to being optimal in Railjack. First mission I ran, I failed it lol. Hopefully I can get to grinding it up to be usable, I'm just hoping it won't be like archwing for me which I still very much hate more than PvP tbh.
Dont try to shoot the crew ships just invade them and use a weapon with punch through and shoot the door down the hall thats above ypu abunch until it says meltdown then leave
You gonna make a guide on the most efficient way to farm Forma or Umbra Forma in the Anomaly? I know it's rng is terrible as farming nitain, but still worth it.
IF you want some help in grinding something in game, or just simply want to hangout with a bunch of good folks, then come join our discord community: discord.com/invite/GaHvfpq . A Quick tip which you might wanna try out or do before you repair your other Reactor.
You can Fuse same type of items just like when you Fuse in Kuva Lich weapons. You can fuse Wreckages in turn of 40% of the required resources which saves you up by a lot.
If you worry about your perk you can choose which of the perks you want to inherit when you do Fusion
If you are using Tether as your main source of damage to mobs I think hit-scan weapons would be good for quick shots and precision.
With a crew is not an overpowered railjack, plus you don't really need survivability avionics
@Sparks I will do a wukong vid next week and I will include my fashion frame.
One small tip I will recommend to everyone new-ish on RJ: on intrinsic lvl 3 or 4 (I think) u get the ability to teleport inside ur ship, u press L and a map will show, then click on the white squares to teleport there, my suggestion is to go to options and change that key for R, and vice versa, u will have more easy access to it, if u have a mouse with extra buttons totally go for it
This have saved me hours of running around the ship looking for the foundry thing XD
thank you.
What do you mean? I have all my intrinsics on rank5 but i cant do that
You need to have a certain one on 4/5 w/e. If you have all of them on 5 you're doing something wrong
@@-Robert Sealplayz stated " *all* my intrinsics are on 5."
@@ryan1696 yeah
This'll be useful (eventually). I don't even dislike Railjack, there's just so much else to do.
I know right
Yeah! I mean, I'm sorry about all new players with so much content going on! Nightwave, eidolon, operator, modular weapons, fishing & mining, hunting, railjack, arcanes, archwing, focus, amps, primes... It's so much!!
For you, but for us. Theres nothing else to do besides building this goddamn ship.
Same
Funny
Once you've gotten a decent RJ with mk2-mk3 equipment, players should gun for the following for a top of the line ship
=
Shield Array: Zekti or Vidar, both are very good, Zekti has stronger regen while Vidar has more capacity
Engines: Vidar, better base speed since boost got nerfed.
Reactor: Vidar again, 100 avionics capacity one maxed out
Tier 3 Vidar and Lavan can be gotten reliably from Veil, Gian Point is easily the best for them
with weapons dropping from crewships fairly commonly, maybe 1 in 4
Tier 3 Zekti however is Ruse War Field due to the high rate of Elite Outriders. This mission takes longer
Zekti Apoc/carcinnox: Damage and high rate of fire. Heat can be countered with polar coil
Tycho Mk3: Can take out Crewship shields up to early veil missions in 1 shot
=
BulkHead: Health, no question
Hyperstrike: you need damage
Forward Artillery: 90% bonus damage to cannon? Wrecks crewships quickly, but will still need some plasma procs to ensure the one shot on late veil missions
Artillery cheap shot: 50% to not use an artillery charge. VERY useful
Polar Coil: More bullet from turret
Predator: crit chance up 80%
Section density: crit damage up by 78.4%
Conic Nozzle/ Cruising Speed: better base speed in general/out of enemy range. Very useful when resource farming
Hyperflux: More battle avionic uses.
=
Munitions Vortex: see a ramsled? Pop this, shoot into it, wait for the sled to get close and recast to pop destroy quickly.
Very little accuracy required
Tether: Just a monster of an ability.
That being said, don't overlook it
=
Battle Forge: Handy for long runs when doing missions back to back and needing to reload everything.
=
I didn't mention Maxima as some component bonuses actually trigger when shields are disabled, such as a bonus to turret damage.
=
Everything said in the video is what you should follow until you get mk 3 equipment and good battle avionics. If you have to, hop into trade chat for munitions vortex, tether, void hole and seeker volley. Do NOT spend more than 20plat per avionic, everything after that is stealing or extortion.
=
I hope some find this useful.
So sure, while my ship’s shields will get shredded pretty quickly, it won’t be long until they begin recharging.
new to rj and what the heck is all this. But i guess i'll know it soon enough
So will my op frames be useful in RJ?
"0.01% chance from a rare enemy" Why DE.
Things like this is why this game mode promotes leeching until you have your boat set up.
Not to mention Vidar reactor is bassically a no choice, because even with a maxed Vidar MRIII reactor you still can't fit every slot.
RJ still needs tweaking, especially in the drop rates and the reactors.
AceDreamer yeah, they ought to make base avionics 50 instead of 30.
Thats their way of saying, its impossible so just fucking buy it off someone else who spent 5 days grinding for it mate.
It’s 10 plat in market lol nothing to complain about
I named mine the Grindboat.
Also I did not even know the artillery cannon was a thing until I saw that nightwave mission. I was slingshotting myself into crewships and then teleporting back.
I can confirm mod drop chance boosters work in Empyrean missions. I got one from a softie and the map was filled with avionics - it was crazy.
One suggestion I have for the tactical avionics is void cloak, it helps a lot for solo play, since it makes all of the crew-ships turn leave you alone while you pick them off with artillery.
-Zetki Apoc
-Lavan Shield Array
-Vidar Reactor
-Zetki engines
^that's what i've been told by multiple people in game and what i've also seen on here for building the railjack as for the battle avionics i've heard Seeker Volley is the "meta" now for it since Void Hole got some kind of nerf but after seeing Tether here i'm gonna try that given i happened to get it a couple times
hmm thanks for this.
In my case I use
-Zekti Shield Array with +25% Railjack damage while shield depleted trait
-Vidar Engines with +50% boost speed while shield depleted
-Vidar Reactor with +100% damage immunity duration after a Major Breach is repaired
Honestly Reactor is mostly personal preference.
"You need Intrinsics 7"
*Join Any Crew:* Am I a joke to you?
Crewmate with 2 ints: **joins**
Pilot with ints 7: *I'm in danger*
2 minutes in and I already discovered my problem. I thought it was like the old warframe where you have to finnish the node to get another, but now it’s time to rank them
Finally it is out. Can't wait to get into railjack more.
I get a couple thousand every run.
thank you.
Awesome advice! I've done a fair amount of searching for succint Railjack progression guides, and this one is the best I've seen.
Glad it helped!
Finally squad leader is catching up, I mean railjack is not perfect but is better than the first release and so much fun to play
I use to hate RJ so much but after the revised update it became much much more fun. It became one of my favorite game modes. I hope DE won't forget the RJ revisited part 2. I really need that command intrinsics.
I watched multiple guides but this one actually covered what i was looking for
To put void hole in perspective, I group up close to twenty fighters in a single blast if I get multiple lines of them involved, from there a single missile kills them all instantly, no fuss, no fancy footwork and it saves resources.
Ikr;)
I crewed on other people's ships until I had all tier 3 gear before ever taking my ship on a non-quest mission. That way I learned how to properly be a crewmember first and I had a beast of a ship on it's first day out of the dock.
I think it's what-- Seeker volley(?) if you're not running veil missions, very nice for clearing out those fighters.
A tip for killing those Crewships on VEIL PROXIMA:-
1.If they have shields on then use Tychoo seeker to blow it with 1-shot.
Rest everything has been covered well by squad leader.. ty
thank you for the additional info.
This channel is awesome. Always a good place for dedicated hardcore info
I’m starting to like railjack more. I’m on my way to maxing it out now
Strange how I never see anyone make mention of the Tenno Catapult within the Railjack.
Because it's bugged and requires you to disband and leave the dry dock before working a second time.
I can say without any shadow of a doubt hat the Mod Drop Booster is your best friend during RJ missions.
If one person has the booster do the other players benefit?
Another tip : Tether is great with Pulsar Weapons . You can detonate the "Thether" immediately since the weapons it's hitscan.
And in the case of turrets, I'm pretty sure it has to be the same type (apoc with apoc and not apoc with photor for example)
i discovered your youtube since 3 days and i love what you do, you helped me so much dude, thx and keep going :)
My biggest problem with doing those Saturn and Veil missions is that there are pretty much never open squads.
(I don't do recruit chat because it takes ages to get a response)
Oddly, the scarlet spear event - especially the murex raid part (railjack missions) provided so much Dirac, that i now have so much in excess.
Resource drop chance and resource boosters do work in railjack and you can stock up on titanium and common resources so much faster.
Leveled mine to all tens a month ago.. never wanna play rj again after that grind
Grind hard squad i have tip for you because i am not sure if you know and i think that 90% of all players dont know that you can click on the equpied weapon or shield or engine or reactor and then down on the right side where you can click on the scrap the second option its fusion so basiclly we can fuse the same parts example you can fuse vidar reactor mk3 with the second vidar reactor mk3 or vidar mk2 vidar mk1 part but first you must repair the second part if you want to fuse 2 parts together however
i have a vidar mk3 vith 100 avionics capacty and 100 flux capacty i must say this is really game changing so it would be nice if you would make a video about this fusion because alot of people dont know anything about this i personal figured out yesterday and thats very important to know i hope that i help you least a little bit with this information and i expect a short video about this fusion because we all need to know this :)
thanks for that.
I recently returned to the game after few months and didn't know they changed few things about RJ. It's was pretty hard to find do I need 2 crafted parts to fuse or can one be crafted and one that will get consumed bp.
I am a new player and the interface of this rail jack has changed so much that this video is difficult to understand.
Thank you so much this is really helpful
never understood why they have 5 stations and only 4 people max for the ships, seems weird. Also with a 100 avionic Vidar i still dont have enough room for the mods i want to use, they really need to revisit their costs.
TrAshisogi Tenno sends his regards, my dear Squad Leader.
Just another tip: If a crewship has no shields, shooting the thrusters with the forward artillery will take only one shot to destroy the crewship.
I am definitely not capable of doing this in one day... this is like a lifetime goal xd
The bots voice is amazing
thank you. some find it annoying tho. lol
Grind Hard Squad A-KS-KS-I RELICS ^_^
Where is the new detailed information video for RJ, I need that bay this year if you may plz lol?
Also if you are the pilot or the side gunners try to leave at least an engine one Bec the forward artillery does 2x the damages that way and can even oneshot crewships in the Vail.
With the changes to RJ, I prefer speed. Carcinox for armor strip and Apocs in the sides. Tyco seeker mk 3 should one shot the shield on crew ships and while in the vail just aim for the crew ship engines with the forward artillery. I could list all of what I run, but it is bed time for now.
All this did was make me cry since your always alone in railjack on console.
Now after the update this is possible
Yes, mod drop chance works in railjack Ive tested it before and it makes a world of difference.
Quick tip for high level crew ships : shoot one of the three reactors with the forward artillery, instakill or at least 80%+ health gone
Super handy when U are lvling up but must play solo or in your RJ for some reason
Gotta saw from all the warframe partners your guide to RJ is simple, serious and informative it's the best guide and you helped me get my RJ to a point I never thought I would get it to so HGS thank you for this guide very well done!! As for QuiteShallow...... no comment
I got void hole during my first veil mission by gods blessing and luck.
You definitely have enough supporters that some of us would contribute plat to other platform giveaways. I got you for the 300 plat on PS4
I can solo veil missions with Excalibur Umbra, but I can barely do eidolons. Without those arcanes, I can only use certain frames and it sucks
And just like that tether went from 20p to 60p
Thank you!
One positive thing about current RJ Grind is that , it isn't that long or time-gated compared to Focus system
true.

Great video really helped!
Glad it helped!
Dear Grind Hard Squad,
I have a question for you . Is it possible to go now and farm intrinsicks idk how to call it . With silent kill ivara prime on a railjack Mission. I am stucked at Rank 9 and dont know how to farm 512 of These
Please help
Thanks
For anyone on console: there’s this bug for using the intrinsic ability to teleport around the ship in which the map moves positions depending on where you are in the RJ, I was just curious if anyone had the same thing because it’s quite bothersome at times
Yeah i have this problem too
I used cryophon before and I cant hit the tether with it (even at 10 m range). So, for people try to use tether strat, don’t waste repair drone or resources on it if you want to focus on using tether.
thanks for telling me this after i spent 3 months grinding.
:P
and thanks to DE for buffing RJ and drops after i spent 3 months grinding.
I had a mod drop booster and I believe it does work since I never had so many avionics drop in only 1 mission alone
Finally broke down and started building my railjack last weekend
Now is the Best moment to build/upgrade the railjack, with the recent buff in exp gain, resources amount per map and enemys easier to kill.
Still buggy, but tolerable 😝
Excellent tips you give in this video
And avionics simplification and weapons and parts upgreadable
Does anyone know how to make the Railjack sprint/speed boost whatever with Xbox One controller? I can't seem to find how to do that.
Went out on someone else’s rail jack on a void mission, got afew tier 3 drops for engines, guns, shields etc, return to own dojo, apply?
I see you have Zetki shields. Do you think the lower capacity and fast recharge is more practical than lower recharge and higher capacity?
Just like the base game, shield capacity doesn't matter as much as recharge rate for gating. I don't think there's shield gating in Railjack yet, but if you boost away from enemy fighters with a fast recharge, you can get all your shields back and start regenerating health before they can catch up to you. Once you get a faster railjack, you can spend entire missions running backwards and forcing the fighters to fly straight at you, making them easy to pick off with regular turrets instead of tether as well.
What armors and cosmetics are you using?
I have a question, a stupid question maybe: at the end of a mission with someone else's railjack, how do I exit alone without losing all my rewards? Can I just select "abort mission" at the end? I always ended up doing 4/5 missions waiting for the "leader" to come back to dojo....
Once you've had the mission end screen come up (showing your loot and affinity collected) and they are on to the next mission you can quit without losing anything.
@@wilwhileaway thank you so much.
Go to the console behind the main pilot seat. In there you can travel back to the dojo.
“We should always bring some friends to tag along.”
Hehe...
Which r10 intrincics is least usefull ? Wanna go three to 10 and left last one with maxed out waiting for command.
SO yeah. xD
@@thegrindshack Good luck and godspeed! =)
This will help give me insight as I am 9 across the board except pilot which is 10
You don’t need to use artillery damage avionics if you shoot only in crewships engines.
Which are hard to hit and have unreliable hitboxes because DE aren't good at games.
I'm waiting for the next video with more recommendations
How do you get avionics?
Old video. This is outdated.
Been away for awhile. Is it worth it to come back for rail jack? I was pretty much maxed out and op a couple of years ago so got bored.
I think DE removed umbral forma on anomaly already?
@@thegrindshack yikes, thought that was just a rumor & nothing more
@@chunkychubchakra2254 Are patch notes hard to read for you?
Squad leader, can you make a video on the best zaw polearm 2020 june for the new polearm skin in nightwave????
Can you do a updated ivara build for eidolon hunting
