He got in a fight as a teen where a punch scratched his pupil, leading to his pupil being constantly dilated, which gave the appearance of one brown eye and one blue eye, however it was just an illusion from one constantly-dilated pupil. His condition is called anisocoria. He had 2 blue eyes, but since one had a large black pupil, it gave the appearance from afar that his eyes were different colours. Not true tho! You can still see the blue ring in his iris if you look closely, and even then, the colour seems “different” because the ring around the iris is a slightly different colour than the centre. So all in all, it was just an illusion. His eyes were completely matched, but just a fight over a girl led to a constantly dilated pupil when he was 15. And yes, he remained friends with the guy who did it, and even thanked him for it as it became a trademark feature. Interesting story if you want to read up on it ! It’s a common misconception he had heterochromia, but he had something just as unique :)
