that was such sweet moment when lex admitted to get sad about all the books that stay unread and Grant tried to cheer him up and said "you gotta enjoy the ones that are open don't let yourself lament the ones that stay closed" ❤️
To my mind there's a trade-off involved in scheduling: the more planned your day the more you reduce the tension of insecurity that you're being unproductive and perhaps are better able to accomplish any specified goal, but you become so laser-focused that you reduce your ability to benefit from unexpected opportunities (which occasionally have disproportionately high pay-offs). Nassim Taleb's Antifragile is a great intuition pump on the downsides of tight scheduling.
hmmm...I have felt that.. thats why i started adding buffer time to things I can do in certain time but lets add 30mins or so more to it.... decide an off time and during that let your mind wander whereever it can
Grant is definitely up there among the reasons for my current interest in studying mathematics. His explanations are just so interesting and leave me wanting to know more.
Appreciate Grant's honesty, quite a contrast to how Lex organises and structures his day! (Or, for those who couldn't be bothered to read that, 6TH!!!!! That's the content you came to the comments section for, right?)
Exactly what I love ~ deep work on the idea, and capture the sparkle ideas ~~~ I often screenshot the visualization of my idea to instagram to memorize it as time schedule ~~~
Its 4:44 AM. I actually wanted to know the productive routine they follow. The video even had a thumbnail. I delayed my schedule for this. Such a click bait. However, Dionysian's tend to be more creative. I'm tired for being donysian. Want some Appolian qualities in me.
Sorry, I didn't get it. So, Grant is an animator working with SpaceX? Wow... interesting. Reading... writing/scripting... animating/programming...video/showtime.

Yup it should be balanced as all things should be
What chapter can I find this?
@@robertoromo9969 Chapter 3, The Cat and the Washing Machine (Touristification), and Chapter 7, 'in praise of procrastination - the Fabian kind.'

Grant gave me a new passion for math his intuitive way of explaining things works well for me.
Same

"turn the internet off" the best advice ever
Sir, I want you to add a day in a life section in your every podcast.
"you gotten enjoy the sections that exist, don't let yourself lament the sections that aren't yet"
The thumbnail is Benjamin Franklin's daily schedule, for anyone wondering.

Interesting that Grant turns his internet off while writing scripts. I couldn't ever imagine doing that, I'm googling every few sentences! 😂
Reading for writers block is a gem.
See “Grant Sanderson”, click immediately, sure I’m going to learn something and I get to listen to his voice 🤪
Where is the link to support your guests’ or connect to your guest?
Like a link to grant saunderson or his 3blue1brown project...
Bruh, just type in 3blue1brown in to any search engine, it takes less time than it takes to type this comment.
He's talking about supporting the guests
He does have links to the channel in the video of the full interview.this is just a clip.
