In this video I replace the rear rotors and pads on this 2005 F150 Follow VGAPR Garage on Facebook vgapr97 Instagram @JoshuaTPotter Email VGAPR97@gmail.com
The third video I watched where the replacement pads were put upside down. The outer pad he took off was in the bracket with the spring clip pointing upward. The new one he installed was pointing down. I am not sure what the factory instalation is. Great video otherwise. I would suggest using brake silicone grease on all of the contact points between the caliper and pads, as well as on the new slides the pads sit on. It is important to make sure no dirt or grease make it on the business surface of the pad or rotor.
Always change calipers in opposite side pairs. If do the left then do the right too and vice versa. Use silicon paste on the caliper pins not dielectric grease.
So I sold my CA fresh 2014 (2wd)f150 and bought a 2010 f150 4x4 when I moved to Ohio. For $2000 it has 244k miles. Purrs like a kitten but has a few issues. One specifically I feel like the rust is causing the back right caliper to “stick” at some points. And when I brake hard enough it pulls to the right (passenger). Should I replace the calipers on the rear? If so I’m buy all new rotors pads and repair kits to go with it. Or is it a brake line? Nothing seems broken or pinched.
Great info! Thanks in need to do this on my 2013👍
Thanks for the great video ! There are a ton of videos for front brakes but not a lot for rears. You saved me bunch of money !
Great video! Haven't cracked open my '14 rear brakes yet.. but hopefully it's basically the same steps.

So.. All this is done with parking brake off, adjust the drum shoes/parking brake to new rotor dimensions, then reassemble? Correct?
How much did the parts cost? I need to get my rotors changed, but not sure if I should do it myself.
Thank you
So it would be the same if I changed a rotor to a 2013 ford 150 right
