- In this tribute video, Lee Tells his story and talks about his personal life before the zombie apocalypse has started and how the events led to his first meeting with Clementine when getting out of Atlanta. Through this narrative montage I covered the main events that Lee and Clem have encountered together starting from their first meeting until their separation by the end of Season 1. I recorded all the cutscenes and footage included in this video using my own gaming setup. I also went through over 10000 voice files in the game to create a unique narrative dialogue by Lee which is not existing in the game which took me over 2 weeks of hard working days.

Lee is one of the few characters in general with media entertainment(that i've seen at least) where I wish he was alive but I know the impact and story wouldn't have been the same without his tragic death at the end of the season. I know he's looking down on Clem with pride with what she was able to do.

@@tomorrowisyesterday3215 The big difference for me is Lee's death had a big impact and counted, it was so sad but wrapped up his story nicely. Joels death was only done for shock value and to fuel Ellies revenge but he could have been switched out with Dana or someone else. I don't want to compare the two games too much, but I was pretty disappointed in TLOU 2.

You could argue that Luke also would sacrifice his own life to save his loved ones. He can die protecting Clementine and keeping her safe, and went back to save his friends when Carver got them, even when he knew the risks.

The whole game was spoiled for me. When I first watched it, I didn't feel much about Lee's death or Clementine's supposed death. I am rewatching the series right now and it really hit me. I felt like crying when I watched all the seasons endings (except season 3) Lee was a legend and he will always be a legend.

The relationship between Lee and Clementine is so heartwarming and tragic. Throughout the season Lee was almost like a farther to Clementine or a guardian, he was protecting her and gave so much valuable and life saving lessons which Clementine will remember as her story in season 2 begins

The reason why I think S1 is still the best out of all of them is because the characters actually felt like people: they had a past, a life before the apocalypse and everything else and what remained of their memories about the old world; some of them did questionable and morally grey acts in the past and each of them showed their real selves in a life-or-death situation. Lee murdered the guy his ex-wife had an affair with out of rage, but he ultimately ended up being the guardian of a little girl that lost everything and didn't know where her parents were, completely lost and defenseless against this new, cruel world of survival. Molly, while being a character that appeared only in one episode, still managed to be memorable as she also had some things happening under the shadows that are better not to be spoken about from her perspective in Crawford, but she managed to be good company and shared moments with Lee about her sister and how she ended up where she is. Katjaa was a nurse, Kenny was a fisherman, Carley was a reporter, Doug was a technician or I.T. expert, Ben was just a kid going to college that was separated from his family because of the walkers, you see where I'm getting at. All of these aspects about the characters' backgrounds came into play multiple times in the story, and it was made
We don't exactly have that in S2, even though it's only set a few years apart from the first season. Personally, I don't remember what Luke, Nick, or the others did before the events of the story, and by default, they felt somehow stereotypical or even archetypical to me. Jane was basically Molly 1.5, Luke was a character that just felt into the category of "nice guy", Nick was Ben's replacement for the position of "the fuck-up" (even though he does have connection with his uncle, Pete), etc. Because of this, S2 feels far too inferior and bleak to me, with most of the good things coming out of S1 characters like Kenny; it also feels like this because the second season focuses too much on progressing the plot than taking time to get to know the characters like the episodes in S1 did, thus, making characters feel less memorable in the process because of their personality and more because of what they did out of momentaneous relevancy (like death scenes or drastic choices).
S3 is just filler because Javi's story is inconsequential to Clementine's and her being separated from AJ from the beginning is just padding out time. Not to mention the horrible decision of making the final outcome of S2 completely irrelevant by undermining that achievement killing off the characters in stupid and rushed ways.
S4 is more understandable because most of them are kids that grew up in the apocalypse and never had any life before that, which is definitely an improvement, but there are still some flaws.
This may be just my opinion but I can't shake the feeling of this being somewhat true. S1 was special because of the characters, and the rest could've definitely had some improvements.

I will never change the opinion that Lee was my favorite game character ever. He was such a good person and I will never forget the first time I played TWD. I absolutely lost my shit when Lee died and when I thought Clementine died in the last game I fucking lost it. These games will always be a part of me.

Clem lost so much, as a kid, the trauma she endured is out of this world.
She lost both of her parents, lost lee, lost kenny, lost duck and katjaa, lost luke and the people who took care of her.
It’s been 8 years and I’m still crying about lee and i come to this edit even now and then. He made a huge impact on me when I was a kid playing this:(

Broseph359 they initially were going to do a second Minecraft (it was required in their contract) as well as several other projects such as Wolf Among Us S2, but they declared bankruptcy before then.
Obviously, they bit off way more than they could chew and started expanding to projects outside of TWDG right off the bat. What they should’ve done was stick with the moneymaker (I’m being generous referring to it as such, but TWDG was the only project they ever made a sincere profit on) and forego the other projects.
