I'm so sad I missed this when it was live and so happy that I saved it so I could watch when I was able to be present for it! Thank you, Lama la, for your authenticity and willingness to share so much of yourself and your process with us, as always. I spent 10 years working with a therapist trained to a high level with IFS/self-leadership, and it was profoundly transformative. We used to talk about Feeding Your Demons work and how we both wanted to try it. Years later, I finally started the FYD courses and have been working intensively with them for the last year during an especially difficult time, and it has also been extremely transformative and empowering, restoring a lot of inner peace and inspiring self-leadership. I didn't carry the parts work into the FYD work intentionally, as I wanted to experience the FYD work as it appeared organically. Now as I'm looking back over the hundred + demons, I can recognize definite self parts. When I was doing IFS work, my parts would also climb into my lap to sit and be held, too. What a beautiful dialogue and practice to witness. It truly feels incredibly fulfilling to see both processes at work. Thank you, both of you, for such a sincere, authentic, open dialogue and sharing. 🙏♥

I read this book many years ago too and it immediately resonated with me. The whole idea of non-resistance is so cool and aikido-like and counter-intuitive to the norm.. So pleased to see this interview, love IFS too, and am going to savour every moment of it.

I would love to see the same thing done with Connierae Andreas, and core transformation work and her wholeness process it would be a very fruitful collaboration. Core transformation. Also does some thing that uses what they call the outcome chain where you keep asking what it is the part needs. The wholeness process was modeled. Partly on Sri Autobindo’s work and is a spiritual technique.
