The range of tones from the two pickups is unbelievable. The rear pickup giving an almost telecaster like treble, with a “quack “, to the front giving an almost semi acoustic woody tone.
Sounds 3-dimensional, for want of a better description. Old wood plus PAF's make an unbeatable combination. I like that he played clean so we could actually hear the real voice of the instrument.
99.9999% of the people watching this will NEVER be able to afford this guitar and therefore will never have the opportunity to even sit down and play and experience what it's like to play a real 'burst Les Paul ever in our lifetime.
You guys should hire someone to write the tabs for the demos and sell em. It would be the best survice to the guitar community EVER ;D this "is" guitar. And very rarely we see these types of playing notated and available to learn.
I much prefer this style of playing. I can actually hear everything. I can’t stand too many effects or too much gain on a demo. Hearing it relatively clean is perfect because you know it’ll sound great with effects IMO.
Nice playing. However you should have someone who can afford to beat it, so we can hear it. Billy G, Kirk, or Mick. I'd love to hear that thing SCREAM!
I'm a simple man. I see Ariel Posen play, I feel inadequate.
Beautiful instrument, wonderful playing!
The most sought after guitar on the planet. A burst is a piece of art and history. What a beauty. Great playing.

A telecaster treble? If i bought a ‘59 standard and it had a telecaster treble…..questions would be asked.
@@68bluesI mean…Les Pauls and especially bursts are often described as a “Tele with balls,” so the OP’s comment is par for the course.
What a gentle and beautiful guitarist
Awesome, sounds perfect identicle to my vintage v100 😊👍
I haven't heard anyone play guitar like that, in this century anyway. Cool.
Ariel Posen could make a guitar from Sears sound amazing; that said, this LP is out of this world. So balanced.
Nice to hear one played clean
Nice looking guitar. I would love to hear Tom Bukovac play it. I don't think that was the demo.
Lovely guitar and tone from that playing.
Dang...sold? I definitely would have purchased this one.
😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅
@@chassisresearchkid I'll take two... one for the cottage and one for the living room 🤝😌👏
I dig anyone who doesn’t sound like everyone else. Interesting!!
Love Ariel's playing. LP sounds like it is fretting out on the high notes a bit.
It actually sounds like crap. It’s so out of tune. It might be the player. It is not one of his good days
Oh man! Please do that Firebird with p90s if you haven't already!
1900 built, 5000 known to exist.

Old wood lol
I want to hear him play that Firebyrd I! This is good but he cuts loose on those!
beautiful playing but why did it sound so thin?
Looks like a Murphy Lab to me!

Very pro done refret
It's interesting to me we've never seen Bukovac do one of these.
Tom has said on a few occasions that he can't afford Carter's. I gather he isn't a fan of that store. He is a Gruhn guy.
@@stratmagic6893 I gathered the same thing, I'm trying to pick on Carter's.
@@taggmanibanez Tho he doesn't have to afford them to be invited to play em ;D

I love Strats , but goddamn they are not capable of this !
Really cool, but it sounded as if the frets were really used at some spots
this one defenitely not the best sounding 59…it sounds kinda stiff and lifeless.
Agreed
This is how i imagined tele on steroids would be. I'm a big fan of this side of the 59, not the warm and mid-centric usually associated with it.
Sounds like a Strat, too thin, too quacky. A Les Paul of this stature surely can roar. Deserves more robust demo
This was not one of Ariel’s good days.
I loved it

Spinal Tap comment lol
