The way a demo should be done of these great guitars with the treble, middle, and neck pickups and varying tone and volume settings showing how many great sounds can be had.🤘👌🤘
this one sounds just exactly the tone of 59 LP in my mind, super wonderful! And also looks killer
Showing all these beautiful soundscape possibilities of this superb guitar so well done. A true joy to listen to. Thank you so much.
This was really fantastic.
Thank You so much for sharing this with us, such a treat.
Well Done Sir
I can listen to that guitar forever
WOW, shes gorgeous in every way.
Sounds fantastic. I love your videos and playing.
Best 'Burst demo I ever heard. Of course, it's a player as good as yourself that convinces people that such a guitar is worth 2000 times its original price...
My Les Paul standard plays me.
Telling me where and when to go.
I listen 🎶. Love it.
God bless and take care.
Hey Thomas, Dorien sitzt hier neben mir mit Tränen in den Augen!
Deine Passion, Deine Eier, Dein Spielen... einfach GENIAL!
Und unser Baby natürlich auch ;-)
1.000 Dank auch an den anderen Thomas für Eure Liebe zur Musik und diesen unglaublichen Schätzchen!

I just cried and came at the same time.
Thank You SO much for your review. Excellent work. OUTSTANDING Guitar.
Damn. That thing was ringing out forever when he was using both pickups. What a great tone.
That’s a really beautiful guitar and it sounds amazing. Loved 💜the closeups of the front of wood. 👍☮️🌞🎸💕
It sings! Beautiful
Mind Blown
Wonderful instrument 🔥🔥🔥
That's a real live one! You can tell it's got that classic snarl! That almost fender esq spank, like a tele on steroids as I've heard it said. And man! You really know how to bring it out sir! Showing off all the best attributes of the instrument. Just awesome sir!
If I was lucky enough to own that one Id call it the mocha burst Its much darker than most of the other Bursts even some of the 1960 ones.
Thanks for the upload. Beautiful tone
So beautiful playing
Real tube amps all around ands we use this
I was wondering the same indeed.
Yet it sounds good.
Awesome. You get a gorgeous tone from that Sunburst! Nice job!
That is a seriously glorious sounding guitar!
Awesome guitar and playing!
Nice playing 🎉
This is the 7,549th I've seen of the approx 1,800 '59 Les Paul Standards built.
The sound of this Burst is from another world ! Thanks for this nice video and your wonderful playing !
I so want to play my LP like this one day
Same here!
Thomas sei sempre un grande e questa chitarra è il meglio
Great backstory! I love the top! It’s hard to tell in that lighting over UA-cam is the back of the guitar cherry or brown?
"Beloved Marshall-esque sound" Proceeds to play through an amp modeler of sorts, while sitting right next to a real Marshall... *sigh*
Quelle communications quel dégage antre vous et elle quelle son c'est superbe , Cool
WOW ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great looking guitar, great tones and a perfect style of playing to accentuate a vintage LP's characteristics. It's difficult to tell from the camera angles, but it looks like the action is quite high on this LP. The pickups look quite close to the strings as well. Is that correct? Just curious.
Klasse Demo, Thomas 😳🤯
my only complaint is that it wasn't plugged into the Marshall
So good to hear the guitar played differently to the usual demo we are forced to listen to i.e.
full beans and full distortion which tell you nothing about tone. This does though doesn't it
FAB
Was für eine Gitarre!
That may just be the most beautiful original '59 Les Paul I've ever seen. REALLY nice flame top...and tone. Wow. Is the top a lemon burst now? It looks red(ish) in the video, but your face also looks red, so I assume it's red lighting that makes it look that way.
Merci pardon
Gorgeous! In the early '70s, I changed out many sets of old Gibson or Martin tuners for Grover or Schallers to make them usable!!
Yep!, that was pretty much standard operating procedure on Gibsons and many others. But, you know, I love the LOOK of those original "tulip" style tuner buttons. And maybe it's cause everyone always changes them out and you don't see them as often but every little thing about a Gibson makes them special and those tuners are part of the iconic look. I wish Gibson would make a replacement that was worthy. Or perhaps Grover could Collaborate with Gibson or Kluson to do a key that is...say, all Grover except for the shaft and button, and instead would have the tulip button. Basically a hybrid. A Grover machine head with a Kluson button! I bet it would be a hit! Oh and awesome, awesome playing of this beautiful looking, amazing sounding instrument by the way sir!!! Thank you for sharing it with us!!
Love it! What is that strat in the corner???
It’s a strat ….. who cares 😂
@@joshuahymer15 But he ALLWAYS spills the Coffee in the Middle. Never missed... in 6 weeks !! A, most unique "Relic". Honestly, it's POSSIBLE this Burst started life "Legit". I've been buying... Keeping & Selling Burst & 50's LP's. & All kinds of instruments Since 79'. In 5 seconds of seeing this, REFIN... Ok. I'll let him explain. Ouch ! Points @ heel.. & Crack down middle of neck, &, Headstock .. Ok. Keep in mind, There are Soo many Unreal, OK, & easy to spot Forgeries, or Replica's out there. 0 Close Up' pics. In the Often cited, "Beauty of the Burst" Book. There's more than a couple of "Replica's" I know, via The Luthier I Apprenticed under, for { 4 } years. Which I can tell you, isn't nearly enough to Become an "OK" Hand Carved Archtop, Builder. But He & I, Built Incredible LP's. Using Old growth Honduran Mahogany. & Brazilian Rosewood. That had been in the U S Since the 40'sthrough early 70's. & Scouting for The EXACT Part's. example, ( The year you're after) ES 175's < 1 of many> Have the correct Wiring harness, Pickups ABR-1, Tuners. I shouldn't need to go on. This person passed 30 + years ago. He Never put Gibson on the headstock. But the buyers could easily find someone qualified to do that. Buyer Beware. Allways. This is the Reality of collecting Valueable things. just saying.
❤️
The Beauty of a Burst….,ach wäre ich doch nur Millionär.
Some say that the headstock repair can enhance some of the LP's.
I was offered one in Leeds in 1984 for £12,000 and I could not afford it the. The only thing in my life I regret.
was the intro from "Cortez the killer"?
No Stairway!
Nice demo. You get to hear the guitar instead of some Johnny Fastfinger shredding.
Player grade burst. Good guitar for a sophisticated player who either doesn't want to or can't spend the money required for one without issues. It's only worth a fraction of what it would be otherwise.
No guitar is "worth" what I'm sure this one would cost. Having said that, this tone is priceless! I have never been a collector and don't buy guitars as investments, in fact I hate that very idea, but I'd probably trade my soul for this one lol! This fellow has a German accent, maybe he would agree to a "faustian" bargain?👹🔥🤘👇🤞😜
The image is reddish. I would like to see it in natural color.
Can anyone tell from the video which effects / overdrives are being used?
What's up with the white Strat. It looks like it was pulled out of the sewer.
Sounds like my hundred dollar harmony strat tbh
You really really don't need any pedals with a 59 .
Bonsoir c est quoi ces micros svp cdt
They are dragging out every guitar they can repair because it will sell for 50k plus.
