A Land Walk (Achievement) - Tomb Raider 2 Remastered

- Minor plays Tomb Raider I-III Remastered. These are the achievements for the game, which appear on several platforms including Steam, Xbox and Playstation. The ones I'm making videos of are ones that require a bit of thinking for how to complete them.
This achievement requires you to pick up the key in the lifeboat in The Deck, but without swimming in the lake. You'll need to go round the outside of the cavern to get beyond the water section.

I tried to get this trophy by doing the jump from the main deck to the second deck which bypasses the whole lower section of the level and then going through the cave from the top and dropping down from there to get the key, i was so annoyed when the trophy didn’t trigger because it took me so many tries to do that jump to the second deck lmao but thanks for sharing that this is the way to get it
Hope you get it, and I'd be interested to know if there's a tool for figuring out exactly what the triggers are

So funny thing, I actually got this trophy on PS4 like a month ago now, but now I'm doing all the trophies again for the PS5 version and this is the only one I have left and I can't remember if you're allowed to go into the water at the very beginning of the level to grab that key? Because I did and then I continued onwards and did everything else correctly and didn't get the trophy. So basically I'm asking did you go into the water at the very very start to grab the key? Lol the only other option as far as I know is to do the corner big to get on the upper decks and go that way
Edit: Nevermind I got it. Something interesting: I didn't actually do what you did in the video, I did the corner bug, went up and then went backwards to where the lake is at then turned around and went up and did the drop on the raft and grabbed the key and got the trophy. So that's cool lol
That could be an easier way to demonstrate it. But yes, I did go in the water at the start. You didn't by chance, when you were struggling to get it, already have the silver secret?
@@Jabberminor No I didn't go in that water at all, but I did use the level skip cheat and the All Weapons cheat to get back to that level cuz I didn't have a save file anywhere near it, so that might be why lol. Then I started over the entire game and got back there legit and I got it
I didn't think the cheats disabled trophies/achievements but I never use em so I wouldn't really know, but maybe they do
@@Collin255ah yeah that'll be it, using cheats will void any achievement.
no matter what I try, I dont get the trophy. I am playing on the pc, havent cheated and only touched the water with the tip of Laras toes, while hanging on the edge.. but you did too in the video. Any ideas? Do I need to finish the level for the trophy like in bertonies hideout?
While you say you haven't cheated, is that the case for the whole of the save that you're on? As in, you didn't use a cheat earlier in the game?
If not, then are you starting as though you've just got to the cave? Not from after getting the first secret?
You should get the achievement as soon as you pick up the key.
@@Jabberminor personally i used the weapon cheat code and i get all the trophy from the previous level but i didnt manage to get this trophy , so weird
@@187matmat I assume the weapon cheat code was done before you got the other levels?
@@Jabberminor if i remember correctly i did it several time but i cant remember if i did at the deck level , is that lock the trophy for the current level at you did the cheat code?? (sorry for my bad english)
@@187matmat if you use any cheat codes, it locks the achievements. No problem with your English at all!
