1.What the crowd says before each beatboxer/ looper starting their round is “3,2,1, beatbox”. It will change depending on the beatboxer’s/ looper’s nationality, for example if they are french, the crowd will then say “trois, deux, un, beatbox” 2.Yes, Rythmind used an “unreleased machine”- the mk2. 3.Right before the buildup in Rythmind’s second round, he said “only 2”, so Brez and the crowd could guess the pattern of the sounds.
Just an addendum to 3. Brez and Rhythmind showed each other their rounds at the hotel before this. Another fun fact regarding this battle is that Rhythmind apparently screwed up a lot in his rounds, especially the 2nd. Brez mentions it in a video, said he felt confident he would win as he noticed parts where Rhythmind wasn't executing his track the same as he heard it before.
Rythmind had the "RC-505 MKII" and only a few people got it before it was released for testing and feedback to BOSS. So yeah, basically a few competitors had a machine that was not on sale yet. BreZ had the older version "RC-505".
They start each battle with a countdown in the competitors native language. So they were counting 3-2-1 in French. Also they are good friends so their sportsmanship is on some other time haha. But what brez said about rythmind having an unreleased machine with a ton more options and power he wasn’t lying. But next gbb everyone will have the new machine as it’s finally released for public. But boss have out 10 of them or something to winners of gbb19 and the participants of the kickback battle 21 edit: brez and rythmind showed eachother their rounds at the hotel before the event along with a couple other French loopers. Brez was just being stand up gentleman about it and helping the crowd
*_Each judge has a different section of part they are judging._* So like one will judge energy, one will judge performance, timing issues or technicality. *_Yes the voices do get judged 😆_*
When they go go engage the round, they tell, three, two, one, but in french we tell "trois, deux, un" and the man who looks the camera with insane faces all the time is called BBK, he's a canadian champion really strong ! Love your videos, thank to share these moments with us, kiss from France !
Omfg im so happy you checked this one out One of the greatest loop station battles we ever had Love your commentary and reactions to these loop station battles i hope you continue to checking them out
BreZ said that him and Rythmind played there rounds for each other beforehand so they knew what was coming. That last part of Rythmind must have been something silly he made on the spot lol.
rythmind planned that last part because brez and rythmind were suppossed to dance in a specefic way and when brez was talking to rythmind he said that rythmind did the dance wrong. watch brezs reaction to this
Rapping prob adds a point. I think the judges judge the competitors by the complexity, fullness, creativity, etc. of their songs. I think the rapping makes BreZ's music a little more full. So yeah, prob adds a point.
I don't think it adds too many points, but they do take some points away for if the lyrics don't make too much sense or if they can't understand it. dunno though, I remember seeing it somewhere but forgot from where
The judges don't use a point system for live battles. They just vote for whoever they think won. Each judge might have criteria that they judge on, but its not point based.
@@daviddotorg yeah but they got some sort of way of judging.. it's the same in like boxing or other sports. There must be some rating system they got in place.
@@rados1aw There isn't a "rating" system for 1on1 live battles. There is for the eliminations and for online battles such as the kickback, but there is no point system for 1on1 battles. The individual judges probably look for things and weigh them differently, but there is not universal system that is enforced on judges
Trois - Deux - Un (3-2-1 in french because they are both french) - Beatbox ! I really think Rythmind has a higher sense of bangers and drops, he deserves this win to me
I highly suggest you check out BreZ tutorials, for example the one for "Girls like", his first round. He details everything so anybody can understand how crazy and intricate looping is
I love how you react to beatbox, even if you are a newcomer to the scene you manage to bring some valuable insights! I advise you to check beatbox crews now to have another perspective on the discipline. Berywam (Rythmind's group) judge showcase at the Asia beatbox championship is pure madness
You are just in shock by this battle I am looking forward to seeing what reaction you gonna give when you will see rythmind vs frosty battle 😀😀 on of the insane battle I ever see 😎😎🔥🔥🔥
As a non beatboxer you should keep in mind that they're doing this live, with their mouth.. It so difficult we can't imagine lol Brez has clearly one of the best mix when it comes to loopstation and so does Rythmind :) Peace !
I think you should react to Beardyman next. He does a different kind of act compared to those battles, but he truely has taken beatbox and loopstation to another level. He created an entire "machine" to exploit his voice and create entire music on the spot. It's unbeliveable what he's able to achieve in pure improvisation. His Ted Talk is a good way to understand what his art is all about, but his Swissbeatbox showcase may be more enoyable to react to.
Bruhhhh.. literally love your reaction.. also i gain more knowledge about the music when you explain what they did. Now, I’m more appreciate the artist music even moreeeeee.. 🤩😆
Yes indeed Rhythmind had a newer device so he had more possibilities than Brez which is also why Rhymind sounds more impressive but it doesn't mean it is harder
Next one has to be: Rythmind 🇫🇷 vs Frosty 🇬🇧 | GRAND BEATBOX BATTLE 2021: WORLD LEAGUE | Semi Final You're gonna lose your mind on this one. Big ups, keep up the good work!!
the first try of Brez reminds me a track from fisherspooner. the last drop from rythmind is a more epileptic reinterpretation of the guitar line from thunder
Brea reps France, the intro is “trois, deux, un, beatbox!”. Like 3, 2, 1.. beatbox. Changes language for Japanese, Korean, deutsche( German) Chinese , very cool
I was having a good giggle at your expense as you struggled to figure out they were saying 3 2 1 beatbox in the native tongue of the person performing. In this case, both are from France, so they're saying tois, deux, un, beatbox. No disrespect. That was just interesting to see someone experiencing this for the first time.

what they were saying is "3, 2 ,1, beatbox" but in French
@@JustRei they pretty much say 3 2 1 in the language from the country the participant is from
How fucking incredible is this! I was listening to RVYN - Soldier like 2 weeks ago and now you react to my battle! Hahaha! Amazing!
Rvyn is a PROBLEM! And that is crazy 😂😂 Can’t wait for you to advance next time man, you got this 🔥🔥🔥
let's go COLLAB bro

@BreZ I think RVYN - Soldier could be made as a loopstation cover (it is possible and perfect for it)

actually brez really knows what rythmind will do so he really know the 2 kick
“i love the sportsmanship of these battles” wait until the second rounds 💀💀💀
Rythmind had the "RC-505 MKII" and only a few people got it before it was released for testing and feedback to BOSS. So yeah, basically a few competitors had a machine that was not on sale yet. BreZ had the older version "RC-505".
BreZ is an entertainer, he engages with the audience the most and performs like he's doing a concert rather than a battle imo
They start each battle with a countdown in the competitors native language. So they were counting 3-2-1 in French. Also they are good friends so their sportsmanship is on some other time haha. They gave one to the KBB wildcard winners and the judges. Rythmind was one of the judges for KBB Loopstation
@@Controldo yes because he won gbb (rythmind)
@@chrisshanteau5353 only because he was a judge, Inkie, for instance, was a judge too (without winning a single GBB u know)

*_Each judge has a different section of part they are judging._* So like one will judge energy, one will judge performance, timing issues or technicality.

No not really, the sections are right but each judge gives points on every category, it's not splitted between them

"Went to a wedding....got me in my feels, but nobody got married"

Rythmind did a ‘headshot’ routine in 2019 gbb as well and it’s all he’s reminded of these days😂

They're counting in the language of the competitors and then once they get to three they say "BEATBOX!" in other words saying "1,2,3 GO!"
it's actually the reverse, it's 3 2 1 Beatbox! (in french "trois deux un", because both competitors are from France) ;)
They are saying Trois Deux Un Beatbox cuz it is 3 2 1 in French and they tend to do it based on their nationality
Thanks bro for you reaction
WE NEED SOSO REACTION ASAP!
React to Rythmind vs Frosty and also Chris the Odian vs BizKit. They are both amazing!!
