      Thank you for the great and thoughtful comment! It's people like yourself that keep me going. I try to do a mix of entertainment, information, and make people feel like they are actually there. Fort Pickens was a wonderful place to visit. It's so much more than just a fort and one of our new all-time favorite camping spots. Florida really has some gems if you know where to look. I should have the second half out in a week (two max). I put way too much time into my videos :)
      We'll have some bike riding in the next part. I see you are a biker. I took a peak at your channel and it looks very professional. I will be checking those videos out tonight after work. Thanks again SwissRide4K and take care!

    The onion bombs look great and great idea. Either beach looks like fun places to enjoy. Lots of sea critters. Monster size oysters and good food. Cheers. Beautiful sunsets to you. New here so greetings from Mike at that place. I hit the buttons. See ya

    Least Turns lay their eggs and hatch their babies there, thus the bird crossing and 15 mph signs. The baby chicks cross the road and get run over by vehicles. Actually, the whole island is a bird sanctuary and protected.

    • @ChrisChrisman
      @ChrisChrisman  Місяць тому

      The bird crossing sign seemed a bit funny at first, but we definitely respected it and watched out for any hatchlings. If you watch part two of the video, we go birding and see a bunch of great species. So many different birds on that island. Thanks for your comment!

    We are planning to go there.. are there any toll bridges along the way? Thank you

    • @ChrisChrisman
      @ChrisChrisman  2 місяці тому +1

      I can't quite remember. If so, I think there was only one toll. Have fun! It's a great place!

    Do you need to reserve a camping spot ahead or is it a first come first serve thing?

    • @ChrisChrisman
      @ChrisChrisman  Місяць тому

      Yep! Unless it has changed you will need reservations for all of the campsites and reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance. It's a great place! If you go, have fun!
