May your days be painted in gold. May your life be filled with diamonds. May the stars shine bright on your world. May you have a fun-filled year. Happy New Year 2024! 🎉🎊🎉🎊
Can you give some use cases how you use that? And why event oriented is better than just calling a method from another service. I know people say loose coupling all the time, but if module is part of your project, does it matter?
@@sureshkrjsl Hi. The first point I have to mention here is that events can be listened to by different modules of your application. This gives you the flexibility to trigger different business logic if needed. Why monolith approach: the cost of messaging infrastructure is zero here, simplifying your stack to maintain.
I like this and I would definitely prefer it over my own homemade implementation but I struggle to see how it makes sense that this is not its own standalone project independent of Spring Modulith.
We are living in 2024 and I still don't understand why the audio in the recordings can't be better. Small, external microphone would improve it a lot. It would be much more comfortable listening to this video with better audio quality.

Hello Josh
@ApplicationModuleListener is marked as deprecated and suggestion to use EventListener - am I wrong here 😊 please advise thanks.
"5432 failed: FATAL: role "myuser" does not exist" appears, as the docker container created does not create such a user on startup
