I feel bad for the teens just trying to browse the pride books. When I first came out when I was fifteen I would search for LGBTQ+ books in our school library just to remind myself that there was other people like me out in the world.

When i see a pride flag, the first thing I think of isn't sex or kissing. I just think of diversity and love. It makes me happy to know that I am welcomed somewhere, or that there are people like me nearby. I think its kind of odd if someones mind goes straight to sex? Its a symbol of freedom, pride, and acceptance. Not sex.
