Express isn’t as chill as Ground is. People “pay more” for the express method of delivery so they’re more anal about making service with priority (business by 10:30am, residential 12pm), also anal about making sure all the packages are labeled correctly or returned to the right place after you do pick ups at specific times. Idk how much ground has changed but when I did home delivery they were more relaxed on stuff. Pick up whenever, deliver whenever. Take 5 hrs or take 10 hrs doesn’t matter since u get paid differently
@@shoohk as a current ground driver the only thing that’s timed required are some business pickups. I’ve got two on my route, both are anywhere between 3:30-8:00. So it’s not bad or frustrating to plan the day out.
I’m Amazon driver. I start 9am get my load 9:30 my first stop usually 15-20 minutes away. I live in San Francisco Bay Area. I love it but like you said sometimes I hate my routes but I’m also studying to get my real estate license. So I look at it like a journey of learn to appreciate the hard work of delivering. To me I feel like the number one thing that makes me hate my job on a daily basic , is “not enough sleep/rest” I’ll explain , whenever I have a great night of sleep and good rest , I get up feelin energized and ready for watever the day brings, but whenever I wake up feelin like shit , I’m already hatin my life and therefore , hate my job and everybody ! Sometimes to fix that , I stretch a lot before starting n eat a tasty breakfast and lunch ! But yea , get good night of sleep and Everythin will be ok,
I'm glad to see you reached the point of quitting. If the whole quit speech was about you. FedEx was a terrible job. Low pay and extremely too much work for the pay. I left and went to a truck parts delivery company. I deliver way less per day and get paid 21$ an hour after 90 days. I am now on month 6. And I guess more raises will come. FedEx peak pay is less than what I make now.also I never work a weekend. And only 8hours a day unless you want overtime. FedEx works you to death. I hope you find something better! You deserve it.

I can say no to taking them but I do it to lighten the load or make ground drivers slightly easier since you guys have 2-3x the amount we do.

We moved locations 2 weeks ago as the previous depot was too small for 3 brands to be working there so we’ve moved in to a vacated building next to the Christchurch FedEx branch😁
I'm a former PH for FedEx Ground and most of the people at my station agreed that Chewy boxes were obnoxious and annoying. You could have a small box and it could weight like 40 pounds.
I love my morning radio show lol. 6-10 Classic Rock 95 KQDS with Jason Manning and Scott Savage. Shout out to them! Nice to have some entertainment when you have to drive over an hour before you even start your route.
Its funny because i watched and followed a few different youtube fedex drivers. All of them end up quitting withing 2 or 3 years. I did fedex for one year as a stepping stone to my next job. Fedex is a terrible place to work in my opinion. I hope you find something you enjoy budd. Best of luck.

I listen to Elvis Duran and the Morning Show too i’m from South Jersey I listen to it live every once in a while I usually listen to On demand on Spotify and I watched there 15 morning show on UA-cam Monday through Thursday they don’t make one on Friday I will listen to them since I was in 7th grade also subscribe to Johnson Squad first profile on UA-cam

Bananas are great(outside of an avocado probably the best potassium source price wise) but with us drivers most of our problems are related to hydration. We don't realize how we excrete fluids all day long. It's lost in sweat. It's lost when we piss. It's dangerous.
I dont know how to explain this but when I work fedex ground routes i eat but when im on a home delivery route i dont eat at all, barely drink anything. Maybe it’s because of the pickups on the ground routes.
do you use porta pottys even if theres a white sign on a stick that says traspasing on it? also what do you drink in the morning to keep you awake? at first I was drinking monster, but it's loaded with surgar that'll send you to the dentist ER and water just wont cut it because I get tired at the end of the day, so I drink lemon sweet tea atm, maybe even a small can of coke.

I was at FedEx in Berrington New Jersey from November last year until February of 23rd I was recently let go because I was having problems with the new route that they gave me every other route in Mays Landing I never had a problem until this one because it was all in farmland

Nothing worse then being a manager, and popping a trailer door open to see all chewy. Well only thing worse might be running a van line, and getting slammed with chewy haha. Chewy is by far the worst account ever 👎👎
