The words speak to my heart. I have always Prayed To God To Not Make Me Human Because I Always Fall Down. But In God And Through This Psalms I Have Promise. Thank You.
This is the prayer that needs to go out to all those that have lost so much in the past few days. My family is from the hills of North Carolina. I'm from the hills of North Carolina. And we are just devastated by all that has happened. We have to turn to God. We cannot blame God. We have to run to Him for dear life. Thank you for this. It spoke my heart.
On so many sites where the Lord and His Word are proclaimed, I see many negative and hateful posts calling anyone who believes in our "mystical, in the sky God" foolish, ignorant and other demeaning names. It is sad but then I must remember that once, I was like those people, turning aside to seek false hope elsewhere. The Psalms, like this one, reminds us who the foolish truly are and how God loves and watches over the righteous. We will be called foolish and ignorant but what a delight to be counted worthy of such words of denegration. In truth, the day is coming when we will see Him face to face and all of these unkind words will be totally meaningless. And as we see Israel attacked today we are reminded that our great God made promises to Israel and He is never false, never faithless and always righteous so we know, that her enemies will nit prevail just as the enemy of our souls will not prevail. Our God is so very good.
I love that the Psalms have a “happy ending” of praise to God. Always a comfort. ❤️
Jesus is the best! God's plan is always better than ours and He is always looking over us, and there for us.🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻✝️

¹ The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
² God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
³ Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
⁴ Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
⁵ There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
