Easy Coffin Casket Spray Tutorial | Flower tutorial for a funeral | Funeral Flowers

In this floristry tutorial we will be making coffin or casket spray. We use flowers and foliage including sunflowers roses and carnations and leather leaf.
We use a block of floral foam with a single florist tray and waterproof floristry tape.
This size coffin spray is 3 foot.

Do you condition the sunflowers you seem to use them straight out of the pack

I usually take the excess foliage off, if any. Just cut the bottom of the stems and then put them into the arrangement xx

I do have purpose made work surfaces, but they always become for storage and I revert back to the tables as it’s easy to move and put away when I need more space. I need to stop being stingy and invest in a better table lol xxx

Is a casket spray easy and safe to transfer from place to place in a car once put together?

Hiya! Thank you so much. The approx width is 2ft. Yes so, in the UK and my area most florists don’t add labour charges. It’s in the 3 x markup on the flowers we can make a profit for ourselves. Otherwise we wouldn’t be able to compete and it would be far too expensive for the customer to consider. The joys 🤣
