The first time I heard this was on a mix. It was really offputting with the harsh vocals. Somehow it's now my favourite song from said mix and I love it. Holy shit, that is him! I always interpreted this as an angel trying to force a human into back into compliance after they've been "tempted" by Daemons. Daemons represent chaos and free will for me. And angels hate those two things more than anything else.
Coming back after 3 years feels weird, I'm a full on black metalhead so these growls sound very nice to me now. Long live synthwave/darksynth and black metal.
