All of this recorded in their early 20's! Berry's bass line swings, the groove is outrageous. What can you say about Duane and Dickey.........the band was way ahead of their time in terms of musical prowess and vision. Thank you for posting this!
Thanks. I could hear the individual guitars, and the bass very well. The harmony was great and the timing was way together and amazing. I wouldn't have believed the togetherness of the fast picking, if I hadn't heard it.
DWAYNE "DUANE" ALLMAN: REST IN PEACE BRO, THE LES PAUL GUITAR MAGE (1946-1972) UNFORNATUNELY ARE YOU DIED WITH JUST SO 25 YEARS OLD AND INTO 2020s DECADE XXI CENTURY AGE (I'M STAYING REMEMBERING THOSE DISASTER'S DAY, BUT HEARIN' THIS CLASSIC ROCK). VERY WELL BY SIGNAL, FASTATICAL PHENOM!
I came across your name on the comments on Manuel Bastian's cover of Liz reed. Is this you playing? If so, you've really got it down....tone, phrasing....you've really got it. I'm an old man guitar player now with arthritis and don't play anymore but my ear is still "perfecto". You got the touch, young man. You got that special touch. Happy Father's Day and if you're not a father yet, start practicing soon....if you know what I mean.
Man, I really don't know what to say... I'm honored. Thanks, sooo much for the kind words! I'll keep trying to master this art. I hope everything turns out well for you and I hope you still enjoy music as much as before. Take care!
@@mikerhd89 Well, arthritis is arthritis so.... But nothing on this planet makes me happier than to you young bloods digging in and hitting the note. Keep on keeping on. You're a Blues six-stringer and there's no doubting it. Be good and practice every day. Chao Young Brother. Adios.
@@grantsmythe8625 you too! Just to make things straight, if you mean the above video, it's the real thing (duane and Dickey playing). I have my own cover of Liz Reed, check it out if you want. Take care! Friendly greetings, Mike
@@mikerhd89 Yeah, I just listened to your playing on Liz Reed. I left a note. You got the touch. Keep on keeping on. Never stop. You'll get there. Peace to you Youngblood.
The most beautiful song ever recorded...in my very humble opinion
@roopan1968 one of the most beautiful songs ever, for sure!

Exactly! Pure talent!
It's always a pleasure to get to know other Allman brothers fans😁
WOW , such a great sound , grew up in blue sky Carolina country. Always great to hear this. First saw them live in 1970, and forever more. Thanks.
You're a very lucky man sir!
Wish I had seen them too.
By far my favorite band.

They were one of a kind band for sure!!
Every note and every individual part of this song is flawless and brilliantly performed. Thank you for this post.
Their playing is phenomenal indeed!
Thanks for your comment

Does anyone have the isolated acoustic from this song? I can hear it in there, but I have never found it
