Howdy Boys!! Just a little assistance on your questions while shopping, the first brass thing that was a decorative horse badge for their harnesses. The canal work horses would be adorned with them. The brass stool was a piano stool. The little cabinet that expanded was an old sewing cabinet. Hope that helps guys!

Kimball keep saying $ instead of £ while trying to be right about about the price had me rollin. I do the same with $ instead of €, although I use a sneaky work around by saying buck, instead. Hi Rocky and Kimball, the brass item with the squirrel is a horse brass. These used to be put onto leather straps that adorned the shire horses, mainly hanging down the breast as part of the reins and straps used for hitching the horses to the ploughs, and were used for many years as decorative items in homes, often hanging either side of the fireplace. Now completely out of fashion. My parents had several straps of them. A great video, I enjoyed it immensely. I love mooching around flea markets, antique shops etc. xx

We actually did a video in Nottingham on another channel which I will probably repurpose for UA-cam eventually, but we adored it there. We went during the Christmas season and I remember it was so beautiful and festive and we had AMAZING Korean food there.

Yes, Kimball would be hard pressed to leave the house without having a color story. His favorite color is orange (I think…it kind of changes sometimes, but orange is always up there).
I don’t normally collect things, but I found that owl padlock in one of our first videos in Paris. Then I saw the elephant at the Berkhamsted flea market four months later. Now I have a bit of a problem and keep looking for them when I’m out and about 😬

Kimball keep saying $ instead of £ while trying to be right about about the price had me rollin. I do the same with $ instead of €, although I use a sneaky work around by saying buck, instead. Now my husband says buck instead of € every so often almost sounding like he always said it.
I loved how by the end of the haul you guys looked like you were dressed in the same clothing line for an ad.

Hi Rocky and Kimball, the brass item with the squirrel is a horse brass. These used to be put onto leather straps that adorned the shire horses, mainly hanging down the breast as part of the reins and straps used for hitching the horses to the ploughs, and were used for many years as decorative items in homes, often hanging either side of the fireplace. Now completely out of fashion. My parents had several straps of them. A great video, I enjoyed it immensely. I love mooching around flea markets, antique shops etc. xx

I kind of miss the old fashioned decor that I remember my grandparents having. I think that’s also part of the fun for us is the nostalgia and good memories we had with our families back in the day.

As it is now it’s mostly earth tones and neutrals. Which is fine, but I can see myself wanting to branch out. Kimball always looks fabulous. I always say, everything good in my life is because of him. He introduced me to amazing music, home decor, tv shows, he finds all out places to live, etc... I really lucked out. 🍀☺️
