Just some constructive criticism...you say early on that people will need to have some knowledge of basic music theory. It sounded condescending and, as somebody with a lot of experience but no knowledge of theory, it was really quite off-putting very early on in the video. Secondly, your tip to manually move each note off the grid is insane...Use a basic groove from the groove pool, set everything to 0% and then dial the random up. That will give you randomly generated timings in seconds.

this is probably something you would find condescending if you were insecure about, the way he said it was not condescending at all- especially when you consider his sentence immediately after pointed you towards information to help improve at it
As for the groove, the difference between that random dial and what he did is it is done with intention the way someone would actually play a chord, with fingers hitting each note in sequence (usually down the scale, up on the piano roll as he did). However, I do agree this is a waste of time in most scenarios unless your aim is to create a natural piano centric piece, as he was.
Once you accept you can learn without hurting your ego you will make leaps and strides in progress, and if me saying this bothers you you likely still aren’t at that point
