The fact that they are still around thrilling drivers after 90+ years is a testament to the quality that Henry put in them. Happy Birthday Model As!!!!
Thanks guys! It's the model A's Birthday!! One only has to wonder what would have happened if Henry hadn't been so possessive of the T and let Edesl in the loop earlier! What if the A had come out in 1924 or 1925? We would have even MORE Model A's out there!! My dear departed Mother just LOVED those Claxton fruit cakes! I would buy small ones for her every year at the holidays!
What an amazing time and event that must of been. Happy Birthday Model A and thank you Paul for sharing this history with us. I hope you have a wonderful day. God Bless you and Tina!
Happy anniversary to you both, Paul and Tina. !!! Did you get married on December 2nd knowing that was the birthday of the Model A? Or was this just an interesting coincidence?
Always happy to see your videos. Jay Leno just put out a video about your favorite turbine car. Thought you would like to know. I love fruit cake too. And the A's are the best car made. 😊
Happy Anniversary to you!! Model A's have always had a special place for me! I love going out to the garage and doing stuff on the car! Long my they live!! Thanks so much,Aooogaaa!!
If I had a garage & my health was (a lot) better, I'd have one of those awesome cars. Thanks Paul & Tina plus all who promote these gorgeous cars. And all the (How To) videos on keeping these beauties running.
Happy Birthday to the Model A, BUT even more important is a Happy Anniversary to the both of you! CONGRATS you guys! Here is to MANY MANY more! Hope you have a wonderful day and be able to celebrate as well. Enjoy your special day and God bless the both of you in BIG ways. God is good! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving as well!
Paul; you are aware that there is only one fruit cake in the world, people just pass it around. Congratulations on your anniversary. Don't own a Model A, I however do own a '42 Ford 9n tractor and use it regularly people would be surprised how similar they are.👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
And don't forget, Henry Ford rescued some of the unemployeds in Cologne, Germany from poverty. When its major and later Chancelor Conrad Adenauer tried his best to get the Ford Assembly line over to his city. Ford used also lots of local supplier to assemble the Model A. Like "Hella-Lamps". Bosch, Varta. Varta is now history, sadly. Later Fords got also german names. Sadly, this is a little bit forgotten these days. As well as the fact, that Henry made some good money with that man who carried this little mustache under its nose... Anyway, I love your cars, and even more since I saw one here in England, last week. I think, they are the cheapest classic cars to drive in our time. Because you still find lots of parts for them. Try to find parts for much younger cars like Audi Quattro, first generation, or Opel Kapitan, or the older Fiats. You can search a long time.
Thank you for adding that history to this! Yes, Ford did business with "that guy", because that guy was leader of a country at the time and Ford wanted to do business in that country. People think that meant Ford supported that guy's thinking. No, you're right, just a businessman trying to do business with another country.
Kinda all depends on what the cardiologist tells me in January. I will know more then. Having some issues... My heart stopped/started again yesterday. Ugh.
@ModelA I stopped at the Weigels to get some milk, gas station the sources locally produced milk under their label. It's also the gas station where I get my ethanol free gas. I think they have 2 different sizes of fruit cake right now.
There's really only one fruitcake. People just keep sending the same one to the next person. I believe it to be true that the A is the best car ever built. Dollar for dollar and pound for pound you can't beat them.
The fact that they are still around thrilling drivers after 90+ years is a testament to the quality that Henry put in them. Happy Birthday Model As!!!!
9,000 cars a day! Absolutely amazing! 😃👍

That fruitcake is a good old Georgia product made in the little south Georgia town of Claxton.
And I'm a big fan now!
Oh! Glad I took my 31 Town Sedan out to lunch last Friday, which was a dry sunny winter day here in the UK. But it's been wet all week! Doh!
If I ever visit the UK, will you take me for a ride in it?
@@ModelA Oh I wish you would, I would be your London Tour guide too!
Thanks to the coolest couple we know, Paul and Tina.

Put the A back into production. Better than anything Ford makes today.
Best ever, well I wouldn't go that far 😂😂😂
I would!! Hahhahahaaa!! Although I sure do like the looks of the 56 and 57 Corvettes (single headlight)
I'm doing everything I can to preserve my un-restored 30 Tudor till March of 2030.
Good work, man!!! I bet you'll pull it off, no prob.
@ModelA Any thoughts of Gettysburg in June?
Kinda all depends on what the cardiologist tells me in January. I will know more then. Having some issues... My heart stopped/started again yesterday. Ugh.
@ModelA So sorry to hear that. I will be praying for you. Trust in God.
3 years to 100, oh my.
Almost there...
Just pooped to the supermarket in my 30 Coupe...as I do most days!
"pooped"?? You're supposed to do that BEFORE you leave the house.
Happy Anniversary. You don't have Claxton fruit cakes there?
Nope. But we do have Model A's!
@ModelA I stopped at the Weigels to get some milk, gas station the sources locally produced milk under their label. It's also the gas station where I get my ethanol free gas. I think they have 2 different sizes of fruit cake right now.

Chevy outsold Ford until the Model A came along. Ford was then outselling Chevy again.
