If you want to hear more from Chester you have to check out his side project, Dead by Sunrise. They did a record "Out of Ashes" after Minutes to Midnight. Also, you can listen first Chester's band before LP, Grey Daze; they released two remastered EP after Chester loss. He was really young and raw. Last, Chester joined Stone Temple Pilots in 2013. They released an EP, "High Rise".
People were saying that he couldn't ding anymore. I think he was just to taking a break from the heavier stuff. Mark said that while recording Cross Off, Chester told him he was excited to make heavier music again. I think he just needed something to get him in the mood. Interesting thinking what he would have been making had he not passed.
@ That’s what I was thinking too. I honestly think he needed a break from Linkin Park and focus on what he wanted. Heavier music could’ve been an outlet for him, I believe. Imagine Chester in pure metal form…
Mark Morton = Lamb of God guitarist. This also had the band Trivium Paolo on bass guitar and Alex Bent on drums from the same band #TRIVIUM THIS SONG IS AMAZING!! Jammed this so hard for months and it truly shows the versatility of Chester!! ❤️🌹
Other features Chester did: "System" from the Queen of the Damned soundtrack "Karma Killer" by Cyclefly "Walking Dead" by DJ Z-Trip "Cry to Yourself" by DJ Lethal "Slow Ya Roll" by Young Buck Cover of The Doors' "Riders on the Storm" by Santana featuring Chester and Ray Manzarek "Crazy" by Slash featuring Chester, Dug Pinnick, and Matt Starr He also featured alongside Mike on Steve Aoki's "Darker Than Blood", Busta Rhymes' "We Made It", and Handsome Boy Modeling School's "Rock And Roll (Could Never Hip Hop Like This) Part 2"
I believe this was the very very last thing he recorded (April 2017), he was about to re-record things with Grey Daze in September but happened what happened.

Mark Morton is the guitarist from Lamb of God. The drums are done by Trivium though.

Listen to the Linkin Park Underground (LPU) albums! There are some really good demos in those albums
Hope you get a chance to check out Dead By Sunrise: Out of Ashes. There's some great tracks on that album as well with a similar vibe.
One of his last songs was with Slash I believe.
