Dear interviewer I am compelled to argue that we do have produced progressive writers and poets in Kashmir; there is no dearth. Abdul Ahad Azad, Mehjoor were much progressive and revolutionary. We should not lose sight of these personalities.
What a great man he is our Alims of Kashmir call him rafzi and try to youth not attracted with this man But really we lost the real scholar of Our Kashmir if we not attract with him have a depth in every field may Allah give him long life

Since childhood we have been taught that religion is a part of culture...But they way Dr. Sameer siddiqui eloquently described religion in context of culture clearly depicts that religion is not something which is confined to mosques and khanqas ...It is a way of life which laid down rules and norms according to which society works which we as Muslims failed to implement as a result we ended up with the slavery of Western culture ...

No use wondering why we couldn’t evolve a school of thought like bareilly and deoband. We shouldnt aspire to develop one. I think it’s a downgrade if kashmir with a rich and organic inheritance narrows into a school of thought based on a book of futwas for fiqh. The kashmiri heritage is not competing against any city in uttar pradesh or central asia for that matter. And it’s probably naive (or lack of subtlety) to think on part of both interviewer and and interviewee that koshur adab lacks impressions of revolutionary and taraqqi pasand surges found elsewhere in subcontinent. With Husn e zan I think sameer sb didnt understand that question to answer it better. A rich conversation, nevertheless.
It is thought of every straight and clear minded muslim human . I like him but i am confused with his shiaism. I know families where childrens became rebels to parents with shia sunni debate . He uses all suni literature to teach shia culture. Such a scholar man . Families are in trouble because of this fracture in society and irony he says mullah is dividing society.
