Not necessarily. Purpose built business jets are significantly faster, burn way less fuel, and can operate from much shorter runways. Never mind the range is way less for the 220.

Best part...always the flight deck
Quebec Pension Fund still owns a large percentage of this plane. Airbus now owns 100% of Bombardier's portion
Thank you for sharing that 🙏
😒
Great investment and beautiful aircraft
Well done
Dear JB....can you give me details speciation said jet,...thanks
Danke!
Vielen Dank, Michael!
C seri look like a member of Airbus Family
I will own this jet
What no mention about the little elephant in the room: Embraer
Airbus A-220 is much better than other private jets!😮😅😊
Soon my jet
@ 4:53 470kn equals .70 Mach.
Bom-bard-yay
(Caveat: Bombardier staff may tell you to pronounce it however you like)
This jet costs the SAME as a Gulfstream G700 even though its much larger.
Because it costs more to maintain and has less access to the world

That 81 million for Business Class…seems really way over priced! I rather spend funds on a G700..Go further, faster, more agile!

@@sickheadache9903 The G700 also costs $81M and its much smaller for only a little extra range.
The full price is 81M, they cannot afford to raise it because they would not compete with G700 or Global7500

So if you put the Bombardier 8500 at 75-80 million, it's nowhere near the size of this Airbus at 81 million. No brainer. Airbus
