Randy give that Durango another shot... let it warm up some. Just like u said these cars sit in the cold for long periods of time. You checked the oil and the level was fine. It's a nice looking SUV it has the Hemi and the interior is sweet with the Peanut Butter leather
Maybe you should make it a habit to take the extra 30 secs it takes to pull the oil stick in everything you plan on starting up. I hope you don't take this the wrong way.
I have an old F150 that sat for months without running. I started it up, and it did exactly the same thing as the Durango…it smoothed out and ran fine after 1-2 minutes.
The problem with the Camry is when they produce the 2.4 liter engines they are known for oil consumption so that’s something to be worried about but just throw a qt in every 1000 miles and it’s fine
With the Durango, 5he Citadel was the top trim. The noise the engine made is the famous hemi tick. It happens whenever the engine sits for a while without being started. Even if there's something wrong with it, a used 2014 hemi can be bout for $1500. It's an easy swap. I'd buy it...and the Camry...in a second!!
As someone who works at copart I can tell u that the Camry came in about six months ago ! So not to long ago u can tell by what the lot number is the last number is the year it came in so they will start seeing cars in the next week that end in 3 cause of the new year
I could be wrong, but the front end looks like it’s had some work done. Bumper paint color and front quarter panels look blended. But it could still be a great car.
Randy if you want to stop start up rattle , push gas pedal to floor & hit key it will crank but not start . It will get oil pumped up & things lubed . Or fool someone & tell them car won’t start , I’ve tricked a few !
As being an auction worker when a Toyota/Lexus acts up like the Lexus did and didn’t start on the first try means battery is history the whining noise means bad transmission like you said Lexus was way too high of a price. Toyota Camry would be a good choice 👍🏼 reason it sat so long was probably title issues, police seizures take forever to clear a title as you should know since you were in the title business before UA-cam. Hope you bring car carrier load back to HQ!
Condensation water in the exhaust is normal after a long standstill! all good 😉
Also when doing short shopping trips. My grandma has her exhaust FULL with water because she always does very short trips and drives slow
The Camry is the only one worth messing with.
Citadel is Latin for “city” Also a military college in South Carolina. Also a fortified structure for protection during a battle.
There’s also a dying mall in charleston called the citadel mall
Actually in latin it is "civitas".
Also a space city in a popular video game franchise.
(That's the only reason why I would get a Dodge. Just to say I have a Citadel.)
Citadel was the top trim back then. I actually have a 2013 and it's been a great vehicle.
@@fghjfghgj You may not like Mopar but I have had pretty good luck with them compared to the GM's I use to have.
For the right price under $1k, the Camry is a good deal.
Oh that Durango is beautiful. My car salesman friend once said that it was the best vehicle in the snow that he had ever driven.
I would definitely bid on that, Camry. Good car for work

Those Camrys are fantastic cars. I'd love that.
I wonder if it has undercarriage damage.
@@leonb2637 Quite possibly. I live in the rust belt. Gotta take a look under any car up here.
Starting the new year off right another great video the Camry I thank would be the best one keep up the great work see you in the next one be save
Thank you Randy .
That Durango is beautiful inside that interior is gorgeous
5.7 Hemi, AWD with that interior. I’d want it too!
Randy. I do appreciate all the work you put in your videos.... and it's not easy at all.. you are a great UA-camr personality....
Maybe you should make it a habit to take the extra 30 secs it takes to pull the oil stick in everything you plan on starting up. I hope you don't take this the wrong way.

I like the Camry
Toyota Camry looks like a good car. Man I could use . Thanks for walking for me.
That Camry is sweet 🤘🏽
Great vids ,Randy ,hapoy new yr every 1, on A.A.R. from the U.K.
That's the good stuff got to love it
Visit CoPart in Florida when you're out here. Goldmine of cream puffs, flood cars, swamp cars, and weird imports like Kei truck's.
Time to add a Camry to the collection
My dad has that same Camry same color it's a 2011 he bought it brand new he paid it off and it's still going today👍
Can’t wait to see a camry on the channel
Randy go for the Toyota can never go wrong with a Toyota
The hemi was about a 4k option on the Citadel! Most Citadel's will have the V6
In the US you are so fortunate to have such a variety in pick ups where here in the Uk we don't.
Keep up the great work. Randy.
What up from the STL!!!
Woow that Toyota Camry is clean
Love the videos randy..love the drive home videos..watching from the UK,keep up the good work
Randy is called condensation ,from seating idle for to long, just let it run and it will cleared.good luck with it.
Happy New Year. Can't go wrong with a Camry
Normal hemi sound after they have been sitting. After running for a few minutes, it clears up
I'm looking forward to seeing that Sable in the next video!
I enjoy this video, Randy,
Happy Holidays
I always enjoy watching your videos happy new year 🎉
Happy new year randy
Thanks for the video, Randy.
We love your videos!! Never miss one!!
thats the hemi tick in the durango
keep up the great videos
Happy New Year

The Toyota will run 😎😎👍👍
Bejeweled airbag on the Lexus? now it's a Claymore! Citadel sounds like it landed hard somewhere!
Toyota quality and reliability 💪💪💯💯🎯🎯 Love Toyota's and Honda's
I love all of these cars that citadel yes yes I want it
Lexus, wining is ac compressor or power steering and the slamming into gear is engine mount ( it's common)
iA Citadel is a military encampment or fortification. It would be similar to a manufacturer naming a car the Alamo !
With the Durango, 5he Citadel was the top trim. The noise the engine made is the famous hemi tick. It happens whenever the engine sits for a while without being started. At least it was warmer for you this time! LOL
That is a cold start rattle on the Citadel. Mine does that, too. Once it heats up, that sound stops. Mine has a 152,000 miles on it. No problems.😄
The Camry is a good car, go for it Randy
The first car I drove was my mother's Camry hatchback. My mufflers fill with water when the car sits. With Toyotas my concern is top up maintenance.
Happy New year to you and your family Randy 👪👪🎉🎉🎊🎊
"citadel" is old English for a poor quality carriage that tends to drop valve seats
Hey randy good luck buddy see you soon keep wa rm
I could be wrong, but the front end looks like it’s had some work done. Bumper paint color and front quarter panels look blended. But it could still be a great car.
Randy on the Dodge want you are hearing could be the exhaust manifold leak
Bring the Camry man, it's great for long trips and it's an econo box and you can't go wrong with a Toyota man
I had a red Camry like that it was a good car except they had some engine issues with piston rings causing oil consumption other that they good
Those hemi engines, depending on the year, have cam / lifter issues.
That blue Toyota would be a great car for the right price. Flip it.
That would be a good first car for my daughter.
Randy the water may be heavy condensation
You should buy the Durango for those long trips. That way you can keep the TRX
Love the durango Randy , maybe worth bringing to your channel 😀
All them toyota Camrys start up like that my wife have a 2011 and her car makes that sound when you start it up when the engine is cold
Well I appreciate what you do I thank you for doing that
Famous Hemi tick. Lifter replacement at worst.
Good morning Randy
Hello Randy. The 2010 Toyota Camery is a good car. The other cars and trucks are good.
Nice Toyota!
I'm surprised that the oil pressure light has not came on that Durango
He forgot to mention the factory bejeweled Lexus insignia on the steering wheel. That's at least a thousand dollar upgrade.
Yes
They spent more on the bedazzled Lexus in the steering wheel than they did on maintenance. Camry is a win.
I cant find a camry in colorado around that year for less than 6k, usually with 180k miles. I would kill to get a camry like that.
I wonder did the muffler get full up of condensation on the Toyota and that's why it had so much come out of the tailpipe
Keep up the great video content.
The ac didn’t turn on with that Camry because you had it off you had it on fan only.
Randy if you want to stop start up rattle , push gas pedal to floor & hit key it will crank but not start . It will get oil pumped up & things lubed . Or fool someone & tell them car won’t start , I’ve tricked a few !
Yes🎉
I like the Toyota :)
yes

Citadel is all luxury focused.
citadel. a strong castle in or near a city
lol that Lexus was rough 😂
That Lexus smells like trouble, especially that transmission.
Camry looks clean and low mileage, if you get that cheap they sell for a good chunk of change
The Camry has condensation it's fine
its not a camry without a dented bumper lol, theres pages dedicated to it on facebook, camrys with dented bumpers, and bumpers with dented camrys lol
I would definitely buy the Toyota
Lifters and camshaft probably failed and sent metal through that Hemi. It's pretty common on them.
I was hoping the Durango started again 😅 gotta love Mopars lol
