- I made a music player that uses RFID cards to play music. The brain is an arduino uno, and the rfid module is a RC-522. The player plays music from a DFPlayer Mini that has a micro SD card.

This is an utterly beautiful solution to a heartbreaking problem. Before she died, my mother struggled greatly with technology that was just too complicated for her to grasp on her own. And iPod, for instance, which seems simple to us made absolutely no sense to her at all. And CD players, which she had used for years were confusing for her. I wish your player had existed for her. She would have loved using it.
Excellent work!
I've been thinking of this idea for a while glad to see someone has made it. I actually want it for myself. I miss just being able to visually and physically look through music but without the actual work of cds or records.
Really cool! And I like this way of playing different songs using cards!
This really hits home. I'm so emotional over a little white box now. Great work.
Nicely filmed. Love those light-up metallic buttons.
Thanks! I really like those kinds of buttons:)
You definetly deserve more subs, the editing is pretty good and this project is Nice!
Thank you so much!
Love it! Very well designed!
Superduper cool, i will build one for my kids :D great video. keep on making and posting
Great Video and a great project! I actually building something like this but with a raspberry pi zero w and with spotify integration. This means you can play your always up to date weekly mix with a card and easily set up your desired output device via a set-device-rfid-card. Your project inspired me to work on this.
Awesome!
awesome!!!Nice,It was a good design
Good little project, good idea.
Very nice idea, nice happy 'face' on the box.
This is amazing!! Can you make one with higher level books? I bought my grandma a YOTO but it's too difficult to use for someone with dementia. If you can make what you just made, simple for dementia patients, but with stories (books by john grisham, james patterson, etc) I'd love to purchase one, if they're for sale.
Nice vid
Hi
Hello
Ye very nice this music is perfect for vibing
Want to build something like this with nfc tags and have them on my record sleeves and cd cases so if I am not in the mood to play my physical media, I can just scan.
Cool idea! I hope you keep running with it! Have you thought about ingratiating it with spotify or itunes? There are lots of possibilities here!
I have! That was originally the plan, but since it was a gift for my girlfriend's grandmother and she doesn't have internet, I had to go the offline route and use a mp3 player:)
❤️
Nice work , can I modify the code to use Ntag213 mifare ultralight cards instead of classic nfc cards ?
Beautiful cinematography. Really well built Music player.
Is your 3D printer DIY ( looks like you 3D printed a 3D printer 😉 )
Hope you get more subs and view for this quality content.
Thank you so much! It is:) It's a modified version of HyperCube. It's not that pretty, but it works great.
help me i want to add sd card adapter module instead of df mini player
Hi, very good work!!! i'll do for my chidren. I can't add a simple stop and wait for another card button! can you help us?
Hi! I am not exactly be sure what you are meaning.. Could you please give a little bit more detail about what you want?
can ı ask you something if you can help me out with this problem ı want to produce thıs product as well but when ı show the nfc tag ı dont want to take it back so problem is ıf the nfc tag stay still on rfid reader will it be keep restarting the song or not....... to avoid it what should ı do ı want to make it like atm machine.... nfc tag will stay inside and while nfc tag there ıt will keep playıng the same song could you please help me or any ıdea on programming. for rfid module thank you
Hi! How long did this take you to build?
Hi! This took some time to build, because I had to wait for parts. With all the parts, and the 3d printed parts already printed, it only took one day to complete.
So.. you 3D printed a box for a Tonuino? Well.. it´s nice, i guess.
