Last year when i saw xuv i decided to for it... But now tata hexa beats xuv in terms of space and offering good seating comfort. Some points i want to discuss that makes me to go for tata hexa... First of all i want a vehicle for long drives. Therefore there should be boot space. In xuv when all seats up there is no boot space. In hexa you can fit two medium size bags when all seats up. You can fold half rear seat to accommodate more bags. Second hexa provides captain seats which provides more lumber support and well cushioned than bench seat in xuv. It makes easier access to last row and passenger in last row feels not cramped or locked. Now comes to wheel size. Massive 19 inchers make road smooth. Xuv not as strong as hexa. Additionally herman sound quality and interiors of hexa is far better than xuv.
tata hexa is good car. Hexa is much better than innova and xuv. I purchased it 10 feb. it drives feels like fortuner. thanks tata motors my dream come has true in my budget.
such huge cars costs around 15lakh and reverse camera in only top variants what the hell they are doing , gvt should make sure such big cars should have reverse camera as standard.
the problem of our indian brothers is they are too much obsessed with foreign brands and dont like to appreciate our own Tata motors....hexa would had loved more if ot was launched by any non indian brand...
Thanks to Tata, Indians could get their hands on the land rover evoque sibling, the hexa. Hexa definitely a true SUV, can take on just about any terrain with that powerful motor and super drive modes. Xuv is more car like, meant for short distance and city driving.

Features are not all, Mahindra has a bulky boxy SUV that's 6 years old now and they are just trying to work on what is there, throw some latest technology like Android auto, give it a sunroof(forgetting about the fact that this is India, sunroof ask for more cooling from the Ac and dust is omnipresent) . I know all about these two cars, and anybody who drives a SUV knows that overall feel of a car inside, and on the outside too! is really all that matters Hexa kills XUV with its premium materials and designing. Both of them drive well, but XUV gets an allwheeldrive and that is just ok compared to HEXA's 4×4. HEXA's suspension and all the drive modes are engineered by people working at Range Rover, so consider it the best in the class. The design of the Hexa is tough still very elegant and that's the designing philosophy of BMW Xs, Mercedes GLEs and even Porsche Cayenne, You gotta admit it Tata has a winner hands down.
TATA Hexa is super awesome in all ways.. Drove XUV and Hexa... Though the features offered are quite similar,, And to be noted Hexa has a previous innova look....... But Hexa is a worth to Buy SUV. TATA is back with a Bang.
Those who find hexa having heavy gearing shifts and clutch than go for its automatic model but then u will not get 4x4 model...but ofcourse u will get perfect built quality...hexa is 500 kg more heavier than xuv. Now u can imagine the hexas built quality
Since you'll took the pain to shortlist the FAQs, you should have added the Automatic variants and its driveability too. True enthusiasts prefer MT, but with overcrowded cities AT makes for a very choice. That with Mileage figures would have rounded right about every FAQs.

For sure hexa is better, as on ride quality & handling & over all refinements, I'm not a TATA fan, but this time TATA Hexa is the hot cake in the market with its price point, which is much lower than cresta. And XUV lacks in quality behind XUV's offroading doesnt match up to Hexa. So hexa is the winner. Way to Go TATA.

Xuv will be better iff it comes with a full time 4 wheel drive. If it drives with front wheel most of the time its no better than a grand vitara.. On demand torque for rear wheels won't do any good in off road as we saw. So its easy choice, hexa is far better..!
xuv 500 would be much better,but the thing it lacks behind is in quality of interior plastics however,the design of central console is really more appealing than hexa's dash.Tata's will have rugged shifts in gears and clutch would be heavy too.They don't feel smoother even.Their design elements in every segment doesn't reach the mark of significance.That's the main point of failure.
