Recovery Chiller Set Up Instructions

Follow our exact step-by-step instructions to make sure you set your Recovery Chiller up correctly.
Before you begin, make sure you follow these four crucial steps:
1. Remove red or black stoppers before attaching the tubes.
2. Ensure the pump is always fully submerged in water before plugging it in to turn it on.
3. Ensure the water is clean and free of debris or gunk that could clog the chiller.
4. Leave the chiller upright for at least one hour before first use.
Setup:
1. Fill your Nuvio Recovery Pod or any tub or bathtub.
2. Take the chiller out and place it by your pod or tub.
3. Remove the two port stoppers.
4. Take the two tubes and twist to secure them onto the two ports. It doesn't matter which way around.
5. Peel the chiller screen protector off.
6. Take the weighted water filter and twist to secure it onto either tube, then place it in your pod or tub.
7. Take out the small water pump and secure the tube connector to it, then attach it to the other tube.
8. Fully submerge the pump.
9. Fix the pump to the side of your bathtub if desired.
10. Plug the power cable into the back of the chiller and switch the chiller on.
11. Use the remote to turn the chiller on and off, and to adjust the temperature. You can also set the temperature by pressing the set button on the chiller followed by the up/down arrows.
12. Wait for the chiller temperature to drop, then take the plunge.

How long does it take to get the temperature of the tub down? Once you get into the tub, does the machine auto adjust the cooling?

It takes around 1-3 hours to chill the tub, and once you're in, the chiller adjusts automatically to keep things cool! 😃
