Came over from Michael's video, and wow, your hatchet looks awesome! I enjoyed watching you work & it was really cool to see you use the drill/dremel tricks, the miter saw, not make everything the most precise ever & explain how you could do it with other tools. Watching you really made me feel like I could/should give it a go now, as opposed to 'one day when i have all the tools and experience'. Thank you!!
Excellent job. Magnificent. Congratulations. I'm currently restoring one. As soon as possible, I intend to post her video. This model with rounded head, was produced from 49 to 55. Greetings from the south of Brazil.
That handle, or should I say the scales, came out great! Didn't have to pretend for that state of wonder. Now the handle is really perfect! Thanks for sharing, Keith!
Love that mountain pattern on there, it works so well. I said this before, but your UA-cam subscribers probably didn't see it, it really just looks so natural like it was always there. Definitely talk to Tracey about sharpening at the next Maker Camp!
thanks dave! i undersold my sharpening skills a bit in the video, mostly to make fun of anyone who thinks an axe needs to slice through a piece of paper to be usefully sharp, haha.
Gorgeous! The first video of yours I’ve watched and highly enjoyable! Somehow I knew about your podcast first… 🤷♂️ Bridgeport CT!! I used to buy 40 ounces of Old English there when I was 16! +1,000,000 for the Bodyguard callback 😂
This came out AWESOME Keith!! Well done, and thanks for the shout out!
hey man, thanks for the inspiration!

That makes me really happy to hear! Yeah I tend to try to show how to get amazing results with less than amazing equipment.
