Promises made by China (building projects in Africa for example, and various international agreements) has always been met since before the uprising of China 30 years ago.

Meanwhile CONDEMNING China and Russia for mostly unproven/debunked accusations, while NATO countries and US walk away with crimes committed in Yugoslavia, Bosnia, Congo, Irak, Cuba, Afghanistan, Syria and many many more.
Even the western controlled UN doesn't reflect the opinion of the majority of people in the world.
And to make things worst, the UN doesn't exercise the reason why it is founded.
PREVENT WAR!! Condemning the invasion of Ukraine but not speaking out on the 5 pushes towards Russia, or Israeli expansion (invasion), and again MANY MANY MORE!
So in short, the exchange between these 2 presidents during this meeting holds no meaning whatsoever due to the hypocritical honor less backtracking mentality of the US and the west.

Opine, this meeting is absolutely crucial, becos, it provides the first time face-to-face meeting between US & CPC-China Leaderships, to assess and gauge eachother's stomach and wills, to fight and engage in a War Conflict in the Taiwan Straits. b- Korean tensions N.Korea - China doing barter trade with NK. supplying oil , gas , food etc China
can easily put political,financial ,trade pressure on NK to not to launch simply missiles , solve the division of families between the Korea's , work towards Korean unification etc
c- India n Pakistan- terror wars - China also can put political trade , economic pressure on close ally Pakistan to stop terror attacks against India .
India created Pakistan n Pakistan is a liability to India n an asset to China ? Why is China is quiet on Pakistani terrorism ?India can easily launch a guerilla war against Pakistan ?
d- Iran - China has a trade deal with with Iran. Is China aware that Iran has trained n armed Shia militia groups in Yemen , Libya , Lebanon , Iraq , Syria , Gaza , support terror groups like Hezbollah, doing terro r activities , launchin rockets attacks against Israel etc
