The best addition to the Jags is clearly The new defense coach. Someone that has that aggressive and dawg mentality. Thats going to make these players wake up and find themselves . if they can be that player maker. Plus adding armstead is a huge upgrade

Mike Caldwell might have been in a bit over his head...but yes Coach Doug needs to take ALOT of the blame for that 2nd half meltdown...just SO not good.
Doug should be blamed to the extent of he hired those guys so yeah he is somewhat at fault. But I mean it’s mike caldwells defense and if it’s that bad that’s on him. Doug is an offensive guy and I want him more locked in on the offense and just checking in on defense.

I think HC Pederson let OC Taylor take on more of a role perhaps BECAUSE of issues he saw on defense and that led to him being more focused on that.
And maybe he gave Caldwell and his staff ample opportunity to fix things he saw issues with and they didn't.
And for that, Caldwell and company were fired.

Doug was being to nice and wasn’t being aggressive to soft on the staff and coaches. If he’s not careful Coach Ryan will gladly take his position
