Congratulations! You are a great quilt teacher. I have loved your tips on UA-cam, your classes, and patterns. I am glad I got to take a class in person with you in Auburn. Enjoy retirement and precious time with family-happy quilting! ❤
It was such a pleasure to meet you when you were our speaker for our Annual Meeting for the Quilters Point of View at Viewpoint RV Resort in Mesa, AZ. Best wishes for a wonderful retirement!
This is completely off topic, but I have to say how much I love your dress!! As well as how much I have loved your quilts, videos, and contribution to the quilting world over the years. Thanks so much.
You will love retirement! So glad I got to meet you in Houston a few years ago! You have inspired and informed my quilting in such wonderful, colorful ways!
Happy Retirement!! I still have great memories of our quilt retreats at the old Country Treasures. And I cherish my Halloween quilt that you quilted for me. Wishing you all the best.
I am very happy for you as you move on to retirement. You have influenced me through the years I have known you. I loved the quiltworx boot camps in Connecticut where I met so many nice friends. I enjoyed your block of the month given at The Quilt Basket. I looked forward to each week watching your Wednesday quilting goodies. All this exposure to you and your enthusiasm and your fabulous color sense got me to break away from my safe choices in colors and fabrics to enjoy new colors new prints new creating. It has enhanced my love of quilting. But, what stays in my heart is what you did. When you were in Connecticut and teaching at the Quilt Basket, I was in a rollover car accident and could not get to my classes for awhile. I was so touched when a bouquet of flowers arrived at my doorstep sent by you. What a kind and compassion heart you have. I will treasure that memory always. So, good luck in retirement. Enjoy your parents, your children, your husband and all the new adventures ahead. I would be there in Lancaster to see you in September but I am going to be traveling through Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico at that time enjoying my retirement, my time with my hubby, and the beauty of our country. God bless and May you and your loved ones travel under His protection and care. Love you Jackie.
Diane, This means more to me than you know! I am so sorry we didn't get to connect at the North Rim. I was so looking forward to seeing you and giving you a hug! But I just KNOW that our paths will cross again. Keep on traveling and quilting! Love you right back, my friend!
Congratulations on making this decision, Jackie! I'm sure that you will enjoy quilting for yourself (I know exactly what you mean about that), spending time with your parents and travelling, of course.
I am so happy for you. The only thing I regret is that I didn't get the chance to meet you in person. You got me started with Judy Niemeyer, but didn't know it. Now I am a CI myself. You have been such a great inspiration. Have the best fun in retirement! -Michael
