Where i live (in Zambia) this plant grows a lot in maize fields......its Something we eat a lot...and get for free, Didn't know its called ambunu and can be used for hair..... Wow lucky me 😁

We don't call it ambunu in Zambia. In fact it's not the same, though they are all from the same family. The one down south us truly meant for very very course hair like ours.

Hey pls give an alternative to cayene pepper in ur onion juice recipie. Can i use black pepper or clove instead or just normal red chilli powder or would it be damaging?

You can leave out the cayenne pepper or you can substitute it with any herb you want.
Oregano
Peppermint
Rosemary
Etc.

No I do t use leave-in conditioners. When I’m done cleaning my hair, I use the pH Stabilizing Spritz and the Herbal Hot Oil Treatment.

I’m wondering if you think it will be okay on my hair? Rice water and certain coconut oils wreak havoc on my hair for context. I followed your guidance to use products without protein and use your real protein treatment separately. That’s been working out great for me. Please let me know your thoughts. I have dry, low-medium density, high porosity hair. I’m trying to revive my hair as I’ve been neglecting in due to dealing with a health condition. The low density is in the front. I’ve been experiencing excessive shedding.
Thoughts on this Bi-weekly routine:
•Your onion juice recipe
•Ambunu leaves to cleanse (do you put it on your scalp or still only do water only?
•Your ph spritz after shampooing
•Flaxseed gel to twist my hair
•Your oil on my ends
• scooping and spreading in between sessions.
• Your protein treatment every 6 weeks
The going is to keep my hair moisturized and strong. It’s very dry and damaged from years of braids.
Also, for special occasions I may blow out my hair. With the ph spritz act as a heat protectant?

I have a question about the onion water treatment, I plan to use it once a week, Is it it okay to always wash my hair with shampoo and condition after applying the onion water treatment, is it not bad to continuously wash it every week with shampoo or can I just rinse with water?

I usually wash the Onion Juice Recipe out to remove the scent. But, if you don’t mind it, you can use just water. You can use an essential oil like Tea Tree to mask the scent.

Just discovered that this plant was in my garden. No one planted it. The next time it shows, I'll make sure to protect it. It's hard to get dried Ambunu in South Africa. This plant grows wild in the forest. Wow!
