    Another great training video!!! Thanks for the tips on which printer tray to use for transfer paper on HP CP5225 printer and showing us what to do if parts of our designs rips off when transferring it to garment. I did not know I could just cut out those pieces and re-press them to garment. Knowing how to do is so important!!!! When this was happening to me, I just threw away garments and started all over again. Thank you sooo much for showing us what to do when we encounter this. 🙂👏👏👏

      @@sheilamorrison7356 Hi, the finished designs work best as print PDFs.
      because not all printers can handle the encodings of image files, and then print other colors than the file actually has.
      When designing you can also use images and graphics, but you must adjust them accordingly in CMYK colors, etc.

    Hello, if I buy the printer from the video and the Ghost toner, can I simply insert it into the printer, did I understand that correctly? And probably say in the software: print again or command another one. :)

    • @Ghost-White-Toner
      @Ghost-White-Toner  8 місяців тому

      Hi, exactly, if you are from the EU you can simply order a printer bundle from us, or you already have a suitable printer and only order the white toner from us. If you are from outside the EU, you would have to look for a suitable printer locally and order the toner from us.
      You then simply replace the black toner with the white toner and everything you have created in the design in 100% black will be printed in white. You don't need any special software for this, but we recommend that you create PDFs and print them using Acrobat reader ( which is available free of charge) :)

    • @Ghost-White-Toner
      @Ghost-White-Toner  4 роки тому

      Got your point. Black Toner is produced in 100reds of tons because it is needed for the whole office printing market for all printing matters on white paper. You can imagine how little the quantities of White Toner are compared to that. This is what makes it so expensive.

    Your "repair" of the print, could it be used for a larger design made out of 2 pieces of A4 prints? If you don't have an A3 printer and split the print into two A4 sheets and then perhaps press the first A4 in first press and then a second A4 in a second press round. Do you understand what I mean? Just like you did with the repairs, so one would have to line up the first and second A4 prints as good as possible when pressing the second time.

      @@ryano136 Sublimation paper is the biggest scam ever. You don't need special paper to sublimate. I've been sublimating for over 10 years, and use 3 different Epson WF printers with CISS in my shop. My preferred paper is Georgia Pacific "Standard" paper (usually has a blue packaging). It's about $3.50 a ream, so under a penny a sheet. It is indistinguishable from sub papers costing as much as 30 cents a sheet. I used to shell out big $ for sub papers, then one day I decided to experiment a little. I tested about 15 different papers. Only 2 of them were sublimation paper, the rest random brands of copy paper of different qualities. Surprisingly most of them worked just fine. However, ironically, the cheap Georgia Pacific yielded identical quality. I sublimate to polyester garments, mousepads, and mugs all with this paper. Crisp and bright output. As far as what they said... they just tried to justify why their toner is worth over $1000 a set, and not even high yield cartridges. I could sublimate the same amount of product with $50 worth of ink.

    Not trying to throw shade, but that doesn't even look that great. Colors look super dull. The black looks gray, and the finish is pretty heavy handed. Maybe it's the design you used? idk. I'd think you'd want to use a design that shows off the tech best?? The work flow is so slow also. So many steps, then having to repair issues. I'd go broke if I had to spend 20 min making 1 shirt. You guys charge an arm and a leg for your toner. I feel like DTG would be better if you wanted to get into full color designs on dark clothing. Probably cheaper or the same, but final appearance and quality would be heaps better.

      Hi! I understand your comment. The desing used might not be the best I agree. We will improve this. You can check our other videos where we use other designs too. The process is slow but the cost per piece are good for small runs especiall if this is what you don't do daily. The system is made for small runs that come in from time to time. I agree that DTG might be better if you have the output volumes. Of couse DTG has better picture quality but you will also have to make a far greater investment.
