That tip to come down to a technical position really is thought provoking... because if you train yourself through massive repetition to execute a sound technique after "mistakes" then your mistakes end up looking like intentional transitions. That's really powerful and I'm glad you shared it, thanks.

Hi Auti, in my dance class, one of the things that I want to make a working progress would be improving my balance in leg holds and tilts. is this kind of balance for that kind of technique? do you have any advice for the kind technique where it comes to having one of your legs off the ground?

2 years ago I lost my balance and broke my foot (5th metatarsal) I danced the show at the end of the year and the whole next year. I have since quit dance because I was doing jazz and acro classes. But, I think I want to start ballet, I have been following youtube videos to build up my strength but I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to tell my parents I want to start ballet seeing as I quit dance last year.

Great exercises. :) Could you please help me to stretch my legs more? I pulled muscles a couple of times and now I am worried about doing the outwards/forwards splits. I want to be able to lift my leg higher/to the when standing as well. I also feel like the back of my knees feel tight, so I might need to stretch my hamstrings more, and work on my hips and core?
