Yup.. extreme compression popping front CVDs. To fix the rear; front CVDs from arrma or GPM fit just fine. When you get the front CVDs into the rear you'll have the option to drill new holes into the shock tower and achieve lower droop for rear arms up to 1/2inch to keep rear wheels in contact with the ground with no issue of popping rear axles =performance gains👍😁
Friggin SICK Brother Eric 😜!!!! Great job on the bench too 👍. Stoked the limiters stopped the shafts from going wonky and pulling out. That fan is definitely jet engine blower 😱🤣🤣. No problem pushing air now. Nice work on getting it mounted 👌. Huge props to Mitch for letting us bash how we want 😍. Another Killer session my friend. Definitely looks like a hoot. Thanks Brother Rich!👊The Mojave is a whole different level experience and fun factor for sure! Just like anything, once tweaked, tuned and upgraded a bit in key areas, it's a total beast! I was skeptical of mega mound launching her for sure!😱🤣Going the other way was into the wind and sketchy but she floated down nice!😜Yeah adding limiters completely solved my driveshaft issue!🤗First bash since I've had the truck, not the first pop of a shaft! Mitches Exb Outdrives helped too!💪💪Felt good to rip this big girl again! Thanks for your comment and watching bro!😁👊💪🚀🚀
Very fun durable rc’s. I have a non EXB with a hobbywing max6 1650kv 8S stock gearing. I can’t get it to top speed, wants to take off in the air. Wheelies at all speeds. I haven’t taken it bashing yet. Just tested on the road. I’m sure it will be an animal off road! AWESOME VIDEO as usual! Yes installed the m2C wheel nut extenders. Thank you!
Now i must say old chap, i'm 3/4 in to this "Bashing", and i must say, i am thoroughly enjoying myself, A royal bashing, indeed, very well then young man, bravo, i do say bravo!!!
I did all my upgrades of m2c and am running a Hobbywing Max 6 w the 1650 kv motor and it flies!! I had to put 90 in the rear shocks as the weight w the motor was so heavy. I live when you say you don’t do big air w the Mojave, then 45ft jumps in the video!😂😂
I know I’m late to the party but I just got my Mojave exb delivered today 😎😌🤟🏼along with a few m2c goodies for it 🤑 Watched all of your videos on this truck before I made the purchase and I’m glad I did man 🤟🏼🤟🏼
Another awesome bash video man. I just finally got mine out today for a good run, the first time i took it out the 16t pinion wasn’t enough for my 1650kv motor. I put a 22t pinion now and this thing its a beast of a truck I definitely need to find me a place like that here in Florida to bash around. Keep up the good content man love ur videos. Ill be posting one of mine soon.
I would also love to have the tools to do some shock work. You want more rebound, however I have never seen a shock piston that can do such a thing. It is possible to put a one way valve over a couple of holes so under compression the flap closes but on rebound they open allowing more oil to flow through allowing the wheel back onto the ground faster.
Great video Eric. Got my Mojo EXB last week, so thanks for the great tips. I've put the Scorched Parts inner guards on so hopefully won't get as dirty lol. Thanks again for the great content brother and happy bashin' 👍😎👍

I just got my roller. Putting electric s in her now 2200kv Taurus motor 24 pinion max6. 6s power i cant wait to run it. Nice video. My stering arm didn't fit on my servo. So i replaced mine. If billing u guys may run in same problem
Wicked bash bro. 👊 I’m not really a sct fan but the more vids I watch of these Mojave’s, I think I need one... 🤣 Keep the sweet vids and awesome tips coming brother. 👍😎
Got back into rc big in june .picked up the revo 2.0 the the only following week the kraton exb loaded it with max8 and 2250 kv .Unfortunately rear diff.went south second set of batts. Its still down because cant get the parts.Just picked up the mojave exb.Anyway found your videos on the exb kraton awsome with your mind blowing launches .I go straight to your videos to see what you currently bashing.when you give your thoughts on and you like it. I gotcha bought and paid for by m2c. Well poor people like myself who don’t get free stuff use teflon plumbers tape and my wheels never come loose. 🤘🤘🤘🤦🏻
Yes same issue with the wheel hub. These extend out 2mm to stop the rubbing wheels on the hub which will loosen the wheel nut. The double nut just ensures they don't back off!

Since you have tested both which you one do you like it more, the Anthoiny fan or game changer ones? I'm running a max 6 combo in my Kraton EXB with a 19T and I'm getting hot. just running a pack of SMC 8000 Mah 125C. it just shuts off after 30 mints of running. I'm Running on grass, that's all i have around me. ESC looks fine but motor is hot to the touch.
Yessss..... Need this in my lfe Appreciate the Mention Eric👍😉 Them Tower Supports are my favorite upgrade for the 6s line! Eric: "I don't really send the Mojave like big air style" ..... Proceeds to send it 10 times full speed of a 40 ft mound 🚀🚀🤣😂👍👌 Love the shock limiter tips... I'm gonna do this if muly shafts start popping. Gotta get my electrics in my Mojave EXB brother..... Time to go full send! I might do plenty of Installs... But you know I like to go full 🚀🚀 as well.... Yeeeee Killer stuff brother, love yiur diff setup, she was sliding drift style 👍😎 See ya round brother
No, I don't really get big air with this truck.😉🤣😎..That was really sweet. It just sailed a few times there. I seen what you were saying about it getting sideways. It took it all though. It dead stopped from 1 of those jumps to. Great job. Great video! Just Awesome!
Your video is still super! Last year (march) I bought my Mojave EXB after watching your video. I didn´t top the diffs with oil since I don´t have a bench to work and was a bit lazy too. I took her on some blasts but nothing crazy. After some rides i got too less grip on the rear axle until it almost didn´t move anymore. I think the central or back diff has a problem. Could it be the slipping diffs? I hope nothing is broken but it should be in warranty time. Any recommendations? Keep bashing! :D
You're a nutter mate haha "yeah I dont really jump the Mojave like I do my other trucks" lol Your truck handles air well, doesn't seem to parachute so bad, mine is shocking lol
Well air control is done with the throttle and brake controls. Throttle in the will bring up the nose and brake will bring the nose down. The Mojave is bit tricky with the smaller tires. Not a lot of rotaing wheel mass for fast corrections. Staying on throttle off jumps helps too then brake right before you land. Just takes practice!!😁
Great rundown Eric! I set up my rtr Mojave similar to you, really great tips there 👍👍 The Talion shocks have a bushing on the end of the shock shaft to limit travel as well. Loved how you just launched that bad boy!! I know what you mean about it getting sideways 🤣 I busted a shock on a sideways landing, that's when I realized you can't send the Mojave when it's windy 🚀
Thanks Aaron!👊Yeah adding the limiter helped so much! Not the first popped driveshaft! The M2C Outdrives added to the security!💪💪Yeah I was skeptical of sending her off that huge mound at full speed but she took it!😱Definitely have to pilot her down in the wind but just adds to the laughs and makes it a hoot to drive!😎👊🚀🚀
We'll have to see how it does compared to a stock M2C setup. I'm just worried about piston hole size using a lighter fluid. I'd like to be able to use stock wt but we'll see!😎👊
Seems like the exb or after market is a must on the Kraton, but does it really add anything other than weight to the Mojave? Seems like the Mojave 6s handles better? Did you notice a difference?
I have a Mojave EXB, with all Spektrum electronics (motor, ESC, receiver). I also use Spektrum Smart batteries. I have never popped out a drive shaft, the EXB stock shock towers have taken a beating and have not bent. I think you have over powered this Mojave - causing a lot of your issues. The only weak spot on this RC is the Shock support. A little drywall tape and Shoe Goo, still flexes but have not broken one since.
Lucky enough to sneak in on the weekends! Some construction sites the builders don't care as long as I'm not in their way.😜I have had my share of getting kicked out of places though..😆
Love the video! Do you have any issues with jumping the Mojave and controlling in air? When launching it sometimes feel like it doesn’t respond to brake or throttle to level out the truck when landing. Any suggestions? I was thinking tire change would help for more rotation. Running the maxx6 1650, 60,000f, 500,000c, 30,000 rear. Appreciate any suggestions. Love the vehicle
Thanks!👊The Mojave by design isn't really a big air stunt truck. It does have a little correcting control if setup right. Sounds like your diff setup is great! What gearing are you running? I find staying in the throttle off jump faces help! If in a nose dive, only a frontie save will save it!🤣Bigger tires will help greatly as the Mojave tires are small for the weight and length of the rig. Not a lot of rotational mass. The Mojave is a pure drivers car! So much fun!😁👊🤘🤘
@@RCDUDE81 thank you!! I was running a 20t, just purchased a 23t for it to get little more top end. Not sure if larger tooth will help with little more air control? This thing is a blast, can’t help but air it out. Ordered the m2c hub extenders and will try little bigger tires as well. Thanks for the content, know it’s a lot of work. My brother and I have a small channel and love to race and air our vehicles. Thanks for the awesome content.
Killer video as always brother E, made my day , to wake up to this 🤗..she sure is a TANK, and handles so well for a sct/des truck 🤗🤗🤗, thoose ORBIT jumps aint of this world ❤❤. Me personal do not like the limit in the shocks, even if they dont do any harm, i remove one clip on camber, and look over so i still got the right angle, it will drop a mill or 2, but no more issiues, same on the EXB Kraton 🤗
Hay bro great video man. Could you tell me what diff oil your running now in the mojave. Is it still the same as the video or is it different? I just drove mine for the first time today and a fucken rock got in by the center diff and wore a hole in it all the oil came out so now I have to pull it see if the gears are bad and fix it. So thanks man and any help would be very appreciated. Thanks man.
Dang man that sucks! I'm currently running 30k front, 200k center and 20k rear. You could go thicker front and center for faster corrections but that is up to you. I like the full diff action in the Mojave so I just beefed up the center. Stock is 10k, 100k, 10k
Great vids brother! Seems like your audio is louder in the right ear than the left ear. Anyone else notice this? I've checked other videos, as well as my mixer and I don't think it's my hardware. Anyways, keep on bashing man!
@@RCDUDE81 Yes sir. Seems to be affecting your other videos as well. I confirmed with different audio sources and other youtubers and the audio is good. Maybe something in post processing or your editing software that might be shifting the audio more to the right channel.
Hi Eric dam your right about that sounds like a A10 warthog. Great information on the front drive shaft mine pops out too alot from a hard landing. Would you recommend just making my front suspension stiffer so I won't have that travel?
Stiffer suspension may help yes since they will probably be thicker springs. I may experiment with stiffer springs myself. Got to dial this thing in!🤣The limiters definitely worked though! Didn't pop the first shaft!😁👊🤟🤟
@@RCDUDE81 great. Yeh definitely try thicker springs since you won't get that full shock rebound which is why our shaft's are piping out. I'm gonna just tune the shock down to be alittle more stiff maybe that will help. It's also all about how she lands too sometimes they will pop out no matter what u do.
Luckily the workers are cool with it. I just roll in and bash as long as they are on the other side of the site. Other spots I have to wait until the weekend when no one is there..😱😜🤣🤣
I destroyed one of my batteries using a fan like that. I had it plugged into the battery balance plug and there wasnt any cutoff at min voltage so the battery discharged too quickly running the fan and the esc on the truck. I was thinking of running a standalone battery but how do i keep it from killing the battery?
Yeah I don't recommend running off the truck lipos. I run a small 500 mah 2s just for the fan I strapped down in the truck. Same for the Game Changer fans I ran in my latest Kraton vid. I ran a small 1300 mah 3s just to power the fans. I had the same issue like you one time and almost ruined my pack..👀
@@RCDUDE81 yeah the truck kept cutting power and finally wouldnt move after a couple reset. Low and behold i took one of the batteries out and was super swollen. Is there something you know of that i could hook up to this and keep it from killing another battery?
I would run an small 2 or 3s pack just for the fan like I mentioned above. They are small, light and easy to fasten down in the truck. I'd recommend going that route instead of using one of your truck batteries.
people say the shocks on the mojave out of the box are perfect. I have the exb and stock v4 electronics minus the servo and radio. I have 50wt oil i could try. Would it handle better and be more realistic wi5 that kind of oil?
They are setup good out of the box unless you weigh it down with heavy electronics then it needs a shock tune imo. I went 55 weight and it seems to help but may need slightly stiffer springs too. With light V4 electronics, you may be fine with stock shocks if you like how it drives!👌😎👊🤘🤘
Says “ I don’t really take this truck off big jumps” absolutely sky’s it around 5:25 🤣🤣

Exactly what I was thinking.... Seems legit🤣

Kraton is more all around Bash worthy but the Mojave has its laughs and is a tank! Yeah..both!!🤣😎👊🤘🤘
Killer video as always brother E, made my day , to wake up to this 🤗..she sure is a TANK, and handles so well for a sct/des truck 🤗🤗🤗, thoose ORBIT jumps aint of this world ❤❤. Me personal do not like the limit in the shocks, even if they dont do any harm, i remove one clip on camber, and look over so i still got the right angle, it will drop a mill or 2, but no more issiues, same on the EXB Kraton 🤗
Seen it 2wice..and wtX brother Eric 😂, you just ruined my day..i wanna go home and skip work and run the Mojave EXB instant 😂😂😂
Trying to buy a fan but email isn’t good
Hay bro great video man.
@@RCDUDE81 hay thanks alot bro for letting me know,I really appreciate the help man thanks again
No problem man!
Hay bro sorry to bother you man just one more question what are you running in the kraton 8s diffs?
Great vids brother!
Seems like your audio is louder in the right ear than the left ear. Anyone else notice this? I've checked other videos, as well as my mixer and I don't think it's my hardware.
Anyways, keep on bashing man!
Thanks so much bro!😊Not sure on the audio🤔Are you using head phones? I'll check into it thanks!😎👊
@@RCDUDE81 Yes sir. Seems to be affecting your other videos as well. I confirmed with different audio sources and other youtubers and the audio is good. Maybe something in post processing or your editing software that might be shifting the audio more to the right channel.
Kraken vs Mojave witch one would you pick if you had to
Kraton since its a more well rounded basher. The Mojave is fun in its own right though being more scale and tough af!
@@RCDUDE81 thanks my wife is making me pick one out of the two want both not happening anytime soon so I guess its time to unleash the kraken lol
Check your front arms too. Having the limiters, the cup completely clears the arm. My cups were digging to China!🤣
@@RCDUDE81 lol Nice Eric keep up the great work. I mean as in bashing work 😜👍🤙
How do you get access to a location like this?
Luckily the workers are cool with it. I just roll in and bash as long as they are on the other side of the site. Other spots I have to wait until the weekend when no one is there..😱😜🤣🤣
@@RCDUDE81 Rock on dude! 🤘 Thanks for the reply! That place looks like the bashers dream!
@@RCDUDE81 i get that but doesnt draining lipos down all the way cause damage or?
I just had to listen to my fans. If they sound like they are slowing down, the lipo is probably at lvc.
I think the v5 mojave has stronger body posts if you want to switch to those
Lmao you said you don't jump that.... sending it in the video....after getting the Senton3S BLX I'm wanting the Mojave EXB now
🤣Couldn't help myself!😜
damn ... how many parts did you have to repair after this run?
Just a wash job!!😜
people say the shocks on the mojave out of the box are perfect.
Thats how you drive the Mojave 🤘 How do you always find the best bashing place's on the planet!!! Do you life in Cali my brother?
Thanks bro!!😎👊Its a ground shredding beast for sure! I happen to have lots of construction in my area!😜I'm on the East coast!😁💪🤘🤘
Can I use exb Diffs on my truck.
Everything is V4 on mine.
You can but you need the whole diff. Including the input gear.👌
@@RCDUDE81
Is there different size input bearings ? Or just a different gear size / tooth size
Bearings are the same I believe but the Outdrive shafts are fatter. Gears are beefier too. So you need the whole thing to convert.
@@RCDUDE81
Thanks bro. You Rock ❤️👊😀
I don’t think the max slash could survive that.
🤘🏼😈
