I like Punk, pop punk and hardcore punk too. Green Day is my favourite band though. But at the beggining, punk wasn't about the music that much, it was meant to be easy to play but they just had something to say. Sex Pistols is a good example. It's super easy to play. The same with The Exploited
@calosity The newer fans haven't been in bar shows and weren't even alive when Dookie tours were out to be able to feel how it's like for a band like Green Day to change. If you were around during the Insomniac tours and often went to Green Day shows in the '90s, you wouldn't be so confident in saying 'there's no problem with Green Day changing'.
